Insecurities

Sam sighed. " You know, I have no idea as to why you are so into it." He mumbled.

"What do you mean?" Veronica asked.

"Like, you've been saying it over and over again like you're some kind of broken record… that you want to go on this date with me. I just don't understand your reasoning behind it." He spoke.

"Does a person need any kind of reason to go on a date with someone else?" She asked.

"I mean, they should, right? Or else, what's the point of going on a date with someone? Like, this is what I'm talking about! No one goes on a date just like that! And seeing you act like this, I just feel like you're doing all of this just for shits and giggles." He spoke.

"So, what you're saying is that I'm not putting my all into it, right?" She asked.

"No! Where the hell did you get that idea from? I'm saying that you're putting too much into it. It's almost as if you're forcing it somehow." He spoke.
