"In two months from now, Team Rocket will infiltrate the Hoenn region so I expect the two of you to be prepared," Giovanni said with a bright smile as he took a hold of his cigarette and lighter, "Aha, I have a gift for the both of you,"

He snapped his fingers and Persian jumped onto his lap while holding two pieces of paper in her maw.

She gave it to Giovanni and he flung it at us.

"These are maps to an unnamed island further south in the sea from Vermilion," Giovanni said, "I would advise that you train your Pokemon there,"

"Thank you Boss," We said at the same time, cherishing his gift.

I finally left that office, Sweat trickling down my entire being as I let out a sigh.

"The maps that boss gave us," Maria said as we walked down the passageway to the tube located at the end of the passage, It would lead us to Cerulean gym, "They are of the same island, right?"

"I guess so, any problem?" I asked.

"Don't get in my way," Maria replied, accelerating her footsteps.

"Hey, Hold up," I said to her and she turned to me, "We're supposed to get to know each other and you know, develop a strategy for the whole thing,"

Maria closed her eyes and then opened them again, looking at me with an expressionless face.

"Why do I need to work with someone like you?" Maria asked, "We have two months so what, We don't need each other for the mission so I'm out,"

"For a Psychic, You're pretty damn stupid," I said with a frown, "You know it was him that gave the order for us to work together, right? Are you ignoring the boss's orders?"

Maria rolled her eyes.

"I'm not, We'll still walk together but I don't need any men around me," Maria said, With that, She walked forward and left me behind.

"I have my ways of getting your number," I said with a devilish smirk on my face.

"To Jordan, for an exciting victory!" Arianna cheered as we clinked cups, Her face highlighted with a crimson blush.

'I think she's drunk, No... I mean they're drunk,' I thought as I rolled my eyes in pure annoyance, Oh how I wish to be drunk again, I need those hangovers like hell.

Sadly, no matter how many bottles I drink, It's still purified! Why couldn't I inherit Psionic powers like Maria?

"Thanks," I said while flashing a fake smile as I chugged on yet another cup of brandy. Erika and Janine were drunk, I could sense Janine was an Aura user but how the hell did she get drunk?

Unless my aura is so prominent that it's literally purifying my body!

I sighed and dropped the cup of brandy and looked at Tony, apparently he had alcohol resistance to the minimum because he was drunk after the first drink.

"I think I'm done drinking for today," I said as I rose, 'What's the use of drinking if I can't get drunk?'

"Okay, But you'll come for the gym battle tomorrow," Erika said, still in her daze.

"Yeah," I said with a smile and left the beer parlor.

The streets of Celadon city was filled with bustling activity as the streets were filled to the brink with people seemingly enjoying their day.

I walked through the streets with a frown on my face.

The Team Rocket's Hoenn invasion plan was giving me the creeps, I also didn't like the way Maria behaved but what the hell could I do about her?

Team Rocket was the only thing holding some families together in this world, It was a brief vision of hope for the poor people, A chance to live their lives the way they want.

Besides If I were to attack, How do I know that Giovanni won't defeat Charizard? He's really powerful, more powerful than one would expect.

My phone started ringing and I pulled it out of my pocket, As I looked at the caller ID, I felt a pang in my heart.

'Unknown Number, WTF?'

I picked up the call and heard a familiar angelic voice.

"Good afternoon," Maria said.

My eyes widened as I heard her voice.

"I thought you said you wanted nothing to do with me," I said.

"Umm, I changed my mind, Are you going to the Island?" Maria asked.

"No, Not yet," I said, "I want to get all of my gym badges first,"

"Same here, I have 7 of 8," Maria said, "I'll be going to the Cinnabar Island for my final gym badge,"

"Well, I have 2 of 4," I said with a shrug, "When you've gotten your final gym badge, Tell me okay?"

"Yeah," Maria replied.

"Okay, I'm gonna go now," I said and hung up the call.

Alright, Let's round up 2 more gym badges so I can get to that Island.
