The Boss Tournament (Part 4)

"I don't like battling girls, They always scream when I knock em' out," I said to the Referee, "Isn't there a way to interchange Opponents?"

"Oh so you're a Chicken," Sophia said.

"Fine then," I said and then climbed aboard the platform and contemplated for a little while, What Pokemon should I use to put her in her place?

"Alright, It will be a 2 vs 2 Pokemon battle like last time," The announcer said, "Send out your Pokemon!!!"

Sophia took a step back and launched a Pokeball into the arena, The Pokeball burst open and revealed Rhydon.

It wasn't scary and I definently didn't find it kinda cute, Did I?

"Milotic, Come on out!" I ordered while throwing my own Pokeball into the arena, It burst open and revealed beautiful Milotic.

From what I can see on the AIDEX, Her Rhydon is at LV. 30 so she's one of the weaker opponents in this competition.

"Milotic, Aqua Jet, Close the distance between the two of you!" I ordered.

Milotic shot off the ground leaving a torrential burst of water in her wake as she closed the distance between herself and Rhydon within mere seconds.

"Rhydon, Iron Tail!" Sophia ordered.

"Don't give it a Chance, Aqua Tail!" I ordered.

As expected, Aqua Tail struck first and dealt massive damage to Rhydon because of the momentum, in fact, Rhydon was sent spinning in the air before it fell on the ground, defeated.

"Hmph, Rhydon, Come back!" She ordered as she withdrew her Rhydon and then sent out another Pokemon, "Go, Graveler!"

A Graveler appeared on the arena, It stared at Milotic in an attempt to intimidate the Pokemon but Milotic smiled cutely and devilishly at Graveler, intimidating the rock Pokemon.

"Graveler, Initiate Rollout!" Sophia ordered.

Graveler rolled into a ball and shot at Milotic, propelling itself with the strength of a hundred men.

"Aqua Jet to the side and then Ice Beam on the ground!" I ordered.

A properly experienced league trainer would either use Bulldoze or Earthquake but this is Team Rocket, they cheat during battles. Not everyone is like me and ugh... Giovanni who likes beating people in fair battles.

Milotic became shrouded with water as she shot to the right and blasted the ground with a concentrated beam of ice. Graveler slipped and Milotic took it as a chance to attack.

"Now Hydro Pump!" I ordered.

I was back in my seat with Popcorn in my mouth and watching the battles below. It's Erika's battle that's starting now.

"Whoo, Erika! I'm rooting for you!" I shouted out.

Erika turned to face me, her face lighting up with a crimson blush as she faced her opponent and sighed.

'If Jordan could beat someone from the Vengeance faction so easily then I should be able to win against the Violence faction's contender,' Erika thought.

Her opponent was from the Violence faction, since the Vengeance faction got automatically knocked out of the contest.

Proton on the other hand was gritting his teeth hard while looking at Arianna's happy face.

'Ugh, I can't believe those guys couldn't win,' Proton thought, 'They're going to get punishment,'

His scowl turned into a bright smile as he thought of ways to torture his people.

Petrel on the other hand had a bright frown on his face, The last participant of his faction could have been anyone but it was Joel... Petrel felt like fate was against him.

Giovanni was smirking but for an entirely different reason entirely.

'Seems like he truly has Agatha's battle sense, A great edition to Team Rocket,' Giovanni thought.

"WTF!" Petrel suddenly exclaimed, "Where the hell did he get an Arcanine?"

Erika sent out her Pokemon, Victreebel which was standing pridefully. It seemed confident in winning this battle but the Pokemon Joel sent out forced it to rethink it's strategy.

Arcanine let out a majestic roar as it appeared on the battleground and Joel adjusted his glasses. They shone in the radiant lights and a smirk crawled up his face.

I analyzed Arcanine and to say I was disappointed was an understatement.

I suddenly remembered that not every trainer has my intense growth speed and my overpowered aura, They're normal human beings so I wasn't too disappointed.

Only some people like Erika who worked very hard to reach the level of power she was in now deserved his respect, Not only was she hardworking, She was also kind and put the people first.

I want to know why she joined Team Rocket? Also I don't understand what's wrong with the Harem MC's on Webnovels everywhere, I mean Erika is ripe for the taking...

Back to the battle, Erika was panicking. It was a Fire Pokemon and an Arcanine no less.

"Don't worry Erika, You can do this!" I exclaimed and she turned to face me, A little understanding formed between us.

She let out a sigh and gave the order.

"Sunny Day!"
