Overdrive Charizard!

Charizard was in full view, A Flickering black flame had covered his tail and his eyes became red.

"What is this?" Darkrai muttered.

"Charizard, Blazing Burn!" I ordered.

Charizard glowed in a radiant ball of fire that kept multiplying and multiplying in size until it covered Charizard completely then without warning, He zipped through the air causing a Shockwave.

I crossed my hands and created an aura shield that blocked Charizard and Darkrai from the rest of us, Charizard appeared in front of Darkrai and barged into it.

BOOM!!!

An explosion completely decimated the area that they were battling in and created cracks in my shield.

"Grr," I muttered and increased my Shield's durability.

Charizard used his fist on Darkrai and smashed it into Darkrai's face, Darkrai groaned and used Dark Tendrils. Dark Tendrils emerged from the ground and threatened to slice Charizard apart.

Charizard extended his wings and glowed in a flickering black flame before soaring into the sky and dodging all of the tendrils.

Charizard focused an intense amount of flames into his mouth and unleashed a star of black flames. The attack tore through the air causing ripples in the wind during the progress of it. Darkrai's eyes widened and it created a shield.

Another explosion emerged and cracked my shield once again.

"Damn, I'm getting tired of this," I said and reinforced my shield. Darkrai glowered in an intense black light and focused all of its energy into its right hand.

"Face my ultimate attack!" Darkrai shouted and surged through the air, aiming to land the ultimate shadow punch on Charizard.

"CHARIZARD, TERROR'S DESCENT!" I shouted at the top of my voice, "END IT!!!"

The flickering flame covering Charizard's body suddenly brightened and covered Charizard entirely, Charizard roared and zipped through the air causing ripples in the air.

The two Pokémon clashed and this time I enforced my barrier with all of my aura...The clash caused a big explosion in Alamos town.

Minutes later, I could be seen walking out of the garden with a Pokéball in my hand.

"What the hell happened to Ran anyway," I said.

The lights in Vermilion city lit up as Ran sat by the sea with her fishing rod, She tilted her head a bit and rested next to Ninetales and the Squirtle that Jordan had given her.

She felt sad, very sad.

"Oh come on, When will Jordan be back?" She said, worriedly, "I know he said he could take care of himself while he was in the Sinnoh region but I can't help but worry about him, you know,"

Squirtle tilted his head and looked at Ran.

"I know he's a bit of a bad person but there's nothing a little love can't fix," Ran said, "Right now, He must be in a Pokémon battle that he's seriously about to lose but he won't stop until he wins. He'll probably find out a way to win,"

Squirtle stood up and pointed at the lake. Ran's gaze shifted from Squirtle to the lake that lit up in some sort of a strange glow. Ran watched a red Gyrados emerge from the lake with a girl sitting atop it.

"Ah, Cecilia," Ran said excitedly.

"Girl, What are you thinking about?" The Pink haired girl that was sitting atop Gyrados said.

"I'm just thinking about my... boyfriend," Ran said, shyly."Is it that useless guy?" Cecilia asked.

"N...No, It's someone else," Ran said, "He's a great Pokémon trainer,"

"I see, So you broke up with that guy and got a new boyfriend," Cecilia said while tilting her head, "What happened to your new boyfriend?"

"He went on a trip to the Sinnoh region and will be coming back soon," Ran said.

"Then I'll wait with you here until he comes back." Cecilia proposed.

"I like the idea," Ran said.Night soon arrived and Ran slept silently on her bed in a room at the Pokémon center next to Cecilia.

For once in her life, She dreamed about her past.

"Yo, Ran," A blue haired boy said as he ran to a petite blond haired girl, They were both 16.

"Leonard, What are you doing here?" Ran asked, Even though she was just 16, She was already very beautiful.They were in an alleyway next to the Pokémon school building.

"I wanted to show you my Pokémon," Leonard said while extending a Pokéball, "My Big bro got me a Treecko from the Hoenn region, So you see, Both of us have Pokémon now,"

"But your Treecko is way more cooler than my Vulpix," Ran said.

"Then do you want a trade?" Leonard asked.

"Are you serious?" Ran asked.

"Nah, I know how valued Treecko is and I won't trade it," Leonard said with a smile, "But after the both of us finish Pokémon school, We can go to the Hoenn region and get you one,"

"I'll appreciate that, Leonard," Ran said with a smile and Leonard winked.

"Anything for a friend," Leonard said with an even wider smile.
