Arianna gritted her teeth, Never had she dealt with someone as troublesome as I was.

"How the hell did you get confidential information anyway?" Arianna asked.

"Tell your guys that the Database was as easy as pie to hack, Besides I'm still pissed," I said with a groan, "One more thing like this and I think I quit,"

Janine let out a stifled laughter hearing what I said, I looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"What's so funny?" I asked, "Do you see her face being funny?"

I pointed to Arianna who had a face filled with horror.

"I'll talk to the Boss," Arianna said.

"Nice, That's what I like to hear," I said, "Now what did you summon me... ahem, I mean us here for,"

"The Boss tournament is being held tomorrow," Arianna said, "Each person is being split into factions with each executive having their faction, Sabrina who recently retired,"

"Wait a fucking second, Retirement is possible?" I asked, interrupting her, Who wanted to hear her brief on some important stuff? Not me.

"Yes, Retirement is possible... only after 5 years of work and decent contributions only," Arianna said and I sighed.

"So much for my grand retirment," I muttered to myself and then she continued briefing.

She wanted at least 2 of us to win the Boss Tournament, that's what I got from the 30 minute talk.

"Boss, Must we include him?" Janine asked while pointing to me, "He doesn't look strong,"

"Perhaps you're blind, miss but this guy's got two A-rank gym badges," I said with a smile.

"A-rank? Come on, Even if the gym leaders are harder there doesn't mean it's impossible to achieve, Besides only two," Janine said, "You're a low ranked trainer,"

"Janine..."

"I guess Erika could demolish you in an instant," Janine said while I stared at her, "Without even using her ace,"

"Janine..."

"If only we were allowed to battle, I might have put you in your place!" Janine said.

"JANINE!" Erika and Arianna shouted, knocking her out of her own world.

"Huh?" Janine asked.

"He's strong, stronger than all of us," Erika said, "And Mr. Jordan, Since tomorrow is the Boss Tournament, Would you like a gym badge?"

"I would have loved one but once I get that gym badge, I won't be able to tour the city, I'll have to go to Saffron city for my final badge," I said.

"I can... show you around," Erika said, "Once the Boss Tournament is over, of course... as thanks for saving me that day,"

"Consider it a deal then," I said while flashing a smile.

Yeah, There are some people in this world that think they're superior because of their status. Can you compare the status of Champion to the status of Koga?

No, It's not possible! The Champion seat that is currently empty holds a lot of power. With a single flick, A champion can eliminate any trainer that does not stand a chance against him.

Now about the Masked Man, If there's a Masked man, Would there be Red, Blue and Green? This can't surely be a combination of the Manga and Anime world. I need to do something to get to Pallet town.

That Black Lugia is at LV. 300 which should be average for a legendary of Lugia's caliber but what would Arceus be then? LV. 1000!!!

I drifted off to sleep in the hotel room I rented, The real reason I refused her gym challenge was because I really didn't have the power neither the fuel to go back to Cerulean city and retrieve my League Pokemon.

Meanwhile...

"Ash, I'm getting tired of this relationship," Misty said as she stood alongside Ash in an open field of Porta Vista.

Ash sat under the shade of a large Oak tree, he was freezing cold...

"Brr... What do... you mean... Misty?" Ash asked, the cold interfering with his voice.

"I mean, I want to break up Ash," Misty said.

Ash didn't seem surprised even one bit, It was almost like he was expecting it. Right from time, He knew it wouldn't work out... yet it still felt painful.

"I get it, I'm not a great guy," Ash said.

"It was a joke," Misty said with a smile, "You'd really think I'd break up with you, Mr. Ash Ketchum,"

"I... I thought you were being serious," Ash said.

"I wasn't, silly," Misty said while pulling his lips in for a kiss, As soon as their lips touched, She stepped back a bit.

"Your lips are cold, maybe when they're warm again," Misty said.

[NEXT DAY, CELADON CITY]

I pressed my leg against the pedal of my bike. Her beautiful engine revved as I rode to the meeting place, The underground base of Team Rocket!
