Boss Tournament Semi Finals (Part 1)

Blastoise closed the distance between himself and Pidgeot in a matter of seconds with Aqua Jet.

"Water Photons!" I gave the order.

Several missiles of water shot at Pidgeot at high speed, Pidgeot wasn't even given any time to attempt to dodge the attack because they connected instantly and then ontop of it all, Blastoise was right above it.

"Pidgeot, Gust!" Orion ordered, he was visibly panicking.

But did he know that a Pathetic gust could do nothing against the weight of a powerful Blastoise, In fact, Whirlwind isn't capable of pulling Blastoise out of the arena.

Pidgeot used Gust but it had zero effect, instead Blastoise entered it's shell and smashed Pidgeot into a bloody fainted figure.

Orion was shocked at the sheer brutality from a single smash, What would happen if Blastoise were to do it more than once?!

He quickly returned Pidgeot to it's Pokeball and then sent out his next Pokemon, Golem.

Golem was at LV. 41 which made me scoff.

"Blastoise, Surf!" I ordered and Orion's eyes widened.

I didn't know why but for some unnatural reason, Blastoise learned Surf but who was I to complain?

A torrential wave of water washed over Golem and the Pokemon wasn't able to react before fainting due to the sheer amount of power behind that attack and the fact that it was a rock type.

Orion felt defeated, like I was intentionally doing this to break his spirits. No, I was just being bored.

Orion returned his Pokemon and then sent out his final Pokemon, Fearow.

So from what I could see, He had Pokemon belonging to the normal class, that is, None of them were rare.

I wonder how he trained them to that level, Not everyone can have access to rare candies like I did or maybe he just trained them in an area with High level Pokemon, Yeah that seemed to be the most logical explanation.

Fearow was at LV. 42 and Blastoise would be able to beat it easily as long as Mirror move was not implemented, but did I expect Orion to not pull off an O.P move like Mirror Move? I did actually and just as I expected, It was the first move the guy pulled off.

"Blastoise, Ice Beam!" I ordered.

"Mirror Move, Fearow!" Orion ordered.

The two attacks clashed against each other and created an explosion of frigid aura, Blastoise moved forward with Aqua Jet and proceeded to close the distance between the two Pokemon.

Orion was ready this time.

"Fearow, Protect!" Orion ordered.

A translucent barrier of energy appeared in front of Fearow, blocking Blastoise's full speed body slam.

"Now Tailwind, Shoot into the sky!" Orion ordered.

As if Blastoise was going to give Fearow an opportunity like that, Before Fearow could fly, Blastoise seemingly became faster and grabbed the legs of the Bird Pokemon.

The cannons on his back aimed at the head of Fearow and Fearow screeched.

"Ice Beam!" I ordered.

Powerful beams of ice shot out of Blastoise's cannons and collided with the angry bird Pokemon turning it into a block of ice.

I chuckled a bit as Blastoise smashed Fearow out of the ice with sheer force alone, Fearow had fainted and it might even get Frostbite.

Orion returned Fearow and sighed, He was feeling grief, envy, fury and the worst of all, Fear!

He left through the transportation tubes and the first match of the Semi finals drew to a close.

I left the arena and returned to my seat near the Psionic Ninja, Koga who seemed intrigued by my Pokemon but chose not to show it.

"The Second match of the Semi-Finals is against the Finance faction and the Psionic faction with contestant Erika and contestant Maria respectively!" The announcer voiced out, "The First match was a One-sided domination, Will this match be one as well?!"

The two contestants stepped into the arena, They felt the full weight of the audience on their shoulders and their hardened gazes depicted their seriousness.

"Let the Battle Begin!" The announcer called out.

A flash of light engulfed the arena as a Kadabra and a Victreebel appeared on the arena, each of them were psyched for the battle.

"Start with Sunny Day!" Erika ordered.

'Start with Calm Mind!' Maria ordered.

The two Pokemon executed debuff moves in an attempt to make their next attacks stronger.

Sunny Day spread and radiated a wave of heat onto the arena.

"Solarbeam!" Erika ordered.

She was taking her usual approach, Using Sunny Day first and then striking with Solarbeam was a smart tactical approach.

A translucent barrier covered Alakazam from the Solarbeam while he continued using Calm mind.

The battle was just getting started and I had a feeling Erika was going to lose... hard!
