Watch Paul Crimson as he grows up in a whole new world. Join his journey as he travels towards greatness. Witness him step out of the shadow his parents have shaded him to bathe into the light and glory he aims to be in. Watch out Pokemon World! Paul Crimson is coming! Disclaimer: I do not own the cover and the Pokemon Series. I will update sporadically whenever I have the time and will to write. This story is slow-paced because he always has a lot to do even at a young age. Especially when he focuses on being a Pokemon Researcher before he starts his journey. This story is more on how Paul will grow up in the Pokemon World, and what he would do with his once-in-a-lifetime given opportunity. It will also have a minor BL theme, though it won't show in abundance until it's already three-fourths of the story. If you're uncomfortable with that, please read at your discretion. Reviews are welcomed, but please criticize with sense and logic, and not for the sake of criticism.

Pokemon World

August 28 | Rustboro City Pokemon Center

In the delivery room, the cries of a woman could be heard clearly.

"Damn Joseph! I would never let you near me for a yea- Arghh!" Cried the woman loudly.

The woman was crying and shouting while lying on the delivery table. She had ebony black long hair, sticking to her face due to sweat; with matching pearl white skin, and a pair of ruby eyes filled with pain and anger.

"Mary, dear, calm down. We shouldn't say things we do not mean." A man helplessly said.

The man was pacifying the woman who obviously was giving birth. He had striking red hair; matched with a honey tan skin and a pair of obsidian eyes filled with love and caution.

"Calm down? What do you mean calm down! You, Joseph, will not touch me for two- Arghh! Nurse Joy! Just get it out plea-"

The woman, who was named Mary, was unable to finish speaking due to the sharp pain going all throughout her body. She held the hand of the man named Joseph for dear life.

"Just a little bit of patience Mrs. Crimson, I can already see the head of your baby; we just need a little more push." A feminine voice patiently said.

Nurse Joy, a pink haired woman wearing a pink nurse's uniform, was currently delivering the baby of the couple Mary and Joseph.

"Ahhh!" Mary cried loudly, then her body slumped back tiredly to the table.

"Good job Mrs. Crimson, it's out! It's a boy!" Nurse Joy excitedly exclaimed as the baby cried loudly. She continued, "Chansey! Come get me a warm towel and prepare the hospital crib then bring it here."

She continuously commanded a pink, ovoid figure with stubby arms and dark pink feet. It has tiny eyes and three hair-like growths with dark pink tips on each side of its head. On the center of its belly is a dark pink pouch that contains a single white egg, and it has a short tail.

"Chansey-chan~!" Chansey replied.

"Finally, it's done." Joseph sighed with relief, he then asked Nurse Joy, "Can we hold him?"

"Of course!" Nurse Joy assured, as she wrapped the baby in a warm blanket given by Chansey. She then gave the baby to Joseph as she reminded, "Just make sure to maintain skin to skin contact so that he could be kept warm."

Joseph just nodded in reply as he held his baby, and went near his wife, Mary.

"Don't think that I didn't hear what you said. I should be the one crying in relief, anyway. We'll talk about this later. Now, hand me my son." Mary tiredly spoke.

While being nervous about the "talk" that they would be having later, Joseph still happily gave the baby to his wife. He watched in content as he saw the two most important person in his life on the same room. He endearingly said to Mary. "I love you dear, and of course our darling...?" He finished in a questioning tone.

"I love you too hon, but you still can't touch me for a long while." Mary replied, and as she finished, she heard her husband laugh hollowly. "I think I know the perfect name for our baby boy. It would be... Paul, Paul Crimson. What do you think?" She asked.

"I think it's a great name. Paul Crimson, the one and only son of Mary and Joseph Crimson. It has a good ring to it, isn't it dear?" Joseph happily responded.

"Yeah, I also think it does." Mary replied as she kissed her husband and the couple lovingly settled their view to their newly born son, Paul.

Unbeknownst to them, "Paul" was also looking back at them. Of course, Paul here is Clyde, who didn't know what happened to himself and how he was able get here. All he knew was that when he was playing Pokemon - Emerald, which was his personal favorite, he suddenly heard a loud boom. Then, a bright light covering his vision while feeling his body being drawn into a direction.

The next thing he knows is that his lungs were suddenly in pain as he breathed in air; like a drowning man who was finally able to breathe. Despite not being a crybaby, his body's involuntary response was to cry. It was a shock to him, hearing himself cry like a baby. He literally sounds like a baby! As weird as it may seem, it was true. He tried to open his eyes, but a bright light blinded him that he needed to squint his eyes so that he could adjust his sight in order to see. He tried to raise his hands, but all he saw was the hands of a baby! He tried to kick up to see his foot, but all he also saw was a foot of a baby!

As Clyde was panicking due to his baby like body, he was distracted as he heard the conversation between a red-haired man that was supposedly Joseph, a black-haired woman named Mary, and a pink haired woman called Nurse Joy. He felt the shock of horror and excitement as his gaze took in the sight of Nurse Joy and a pink figure. 'Chansey?' Was the first thought that came to his mind. It was the world-renowned helper pokemon of Nurse Joy in most Pokemon Centers in the Pokemon series.

After a few seconds of pause, he felt that he needed to internalize the Pokemon world a little bit later. The most important part for him currently is his supposedly biological parents, Mary, and Joseph. As he heard their conversation, he was able to feel the love that they had for each other. They obviously had that for their son too, which was him, and that left him in awe.

Despite being an orphan, he grew up well without parents. But through his charity foundation, he was able to see how important parents are for orphans. Because of this, he supported the children's school and their living needs. He also actively supported and participated on advertising the adoption and fostering of orphans. It was quite a good thing that he continued to support the children's scholarship, even though they're already adopted or currently has foster parents. This made it easier for the orphans of his orphanage to be adopted or fostered.

He witnessed it firsthand on how a parent could influence a child so much, just by their mere existence and support. To think that he would be able to feel it himself, despite being suspicious about what happened to him earlier. He was also quite at awe and thrilled on being part of a loving family. They might not be the reason for who he is today, as he has matured already. But they might be able to influence him on who he could be in the future, especially now that he's living in the Pokemon World.

As he felt the shock sink in on having a family, of him dying due to a currently unknown reason which he suspects his own spatial channel, of him being a baby, and on his existence at the Pokemon World. Clyde- no, Paul Crimson felt at peace at that moment, which he wasn't able to feel for a long time. He finally closed his eyes as sleepiness and exhaustion settled in his current little body.

I'm dishing out chapters as I currently have the will to write. What do you think about the book currently? Any thoughts? Please comment down below! Reviews are welcomed. Also, remember to vote your power stones! Thank you!
