Early Morning at Metallica Island Port, ship from Vermilion Port along with students has just reached and all students were exiting, Ethen and his friends were also among those students exiting from the ship.

"First Year and Second Year students come to this side." An Elite trainer was standing like when Ethen reached for the first time to island. Students followed instructions and total 300 students came to side as instructed by trainer and other students left for their respective dorms.

"Now, First Year students come to my right and second year students come to my left." Instructed the same trainer, Ethen and his friends along with other students from second year came to left side of trainer, there were around 100 students of second year and 200 students of first year.

"Mr. Steve please take these second year students to registration counter." Said the first elite trainer to other trainer who was also standing there. Mr. Steve nodded and told second year students to follow him.

Ethen reached along with other students to a registration counter which was at different location than previous year. Ethen got his ID registered as per previous year and this time he got room in A wing and his room number was 11. From second year students got whichever room assigned was their final room till end of the year, unless they fail exam in middle of graduation. Max was in same wing that is wing A but on first floor and his Room number was 4, Shauna and Tommy were in wing B and had their rooms facing each other on third floor of building, Janina was in Wing C.

Lady at registration counter informed them that they should get ready and reach auditorium by 3 pm (after lunch) location where they will get a pokemon of their own from University.

Ethen and his friends returned to their room but they didn't see a guy in corner who was looking at them with envy in his eyes. After reaching in his room, Ethen was shocked to see that the room was atleast double the size of his complete previous room (Including room of Max), in this room, he had a bedroom, living room, bathroom and a training room which was largest with in-built facilities like gravity, air pressure etc. to train pokemon according to need. He was happy to see the great facility provided by university and each trainer get same facility so to be fair with every one.

At 3 Pm:

Ethen was sitting on chair along with other students of second year, chairs had marking and each students were sitting as per their ranking in first year exam, so Ethen and Max were sitting side by side and other three were ranked Janina(12), Tommy (15), Shauna (20), so they were sitting in second row as each row had 10 students.

"Hello everyone, first of all I would like to congratulate you all for getting promoted to second year." It was professor Samuel Oak himself who was giving speech.

"I am glad to inform you that you will receive your first pokemon those who never had one, today and along with that we will be installing pokedex in your pokephone which will show you data about your pokemon along with their moves except their potential. Your pokephones if not compatible with latest pokedex, then we will either upgrade it or replace it, those who never had a pokephone will receive latest edition pokephone built by Silph Co. Kanto branch." Professor Oak informed everyone and all students clapped because all were excited to get pokemon from university, even Ethen who had 3 pokemon already was also excited to get one.

"So now, here we have around 200 students, out of which each royal pokemon of all 5 region are 3 so total royal pokemon out of 200 are 45 and Pseudo pokemons like Dratini, Larvitar, Bagon, Beldum, Gible and Deino comprises 2 numbers each so they take total 12 spaces. This year like all previous years, we are introducing some special pokemons and this year these are from Alola Region we have their royal pokemon but could only get 2 of each species and their two Pseudo legendries Jangmo-o and Goomy are also added to the listed pokemon which takes total 4 space. remaining 133 pokemon are pokemons rare in all 5 regions." Explained Professor Oak to all students.

"You all will come here as per your ranking in exam and press the button here which works as lucky draw and take whichever pokemon you receive, also you cannot check your pokemon until you return to your rooms and once pokemon is chosen you cannot replace it and will have to train this pokemon. Also you all need not to worry, these all pokemons are hatched within period of last 15 days so they are still baby pokemon and easy to tame, for period of one month you all will be given introduction on how to train pokemon and what food are good for your pokemon." Said Professor Oak. After he finished, students again clapped for him.

When clapping stopped, professor Oak looked towards seat number 1 where Ethen was sitting and gestured him to walk towards the stage. Ethen stood up from his seat, he was really nervous this time but still he already decided that no matter what pokemon he get in this lucky draw, he will accept that pokemon as his family and train that pokemon well.

After Ethen reached stage he first gave his pokephone to Assistant sitting on one side and then moved towards the machine from where he was going to get his first pokemon.

Ethen nervously pressed the button, machine made a beep sound and after completing a circle of light another beep came then a pokeball slide down on the lower body of Machine, Ethen picked up the pokeball, he wanted to see which pokemon it is but controlled as it was already told them to not to check until they returned to their room. He collected his pokephone which was upgraded and pokedex feature was added as well. Assistant also inform him that whenever he bought any pokeball he will have to scan that pokeball so that whenever that Ethen catches any pokemon with those pokeballs, that pokemon will automatically get registered on his name. Also he can still scan pokeball of pokemon he caught previously to add them under his name, but condition was that pokeball must not be registered under anyone else's name or else pokephone will show error and won't collect data of that pokeball.

After Ethen returned to his seat, he quickly scanned pokeball of all three newly added pokemon and checked if pokemon were added under his name, but he was shocked to see that third pokeball which he just received wasn't added and was showing error that its already registered under someone else, he was confused but thought he may get answer for this too.

After sometime all students got their pokemon and Professor Oak again came back to stage and said, "As you all might have already checked, the pokemon you just received cannot be added to your team, this is to keep suspense. You can get this pokemon registered under your name after dinner time, as by that time we will remove our names from that pokeball and make it unowned. Now you all can go back to your rooms to see which pokemon you got." Later he said good bye and exited from backdoor.

Ethen also said bye to his friends after promising that they will meet after 1 hour near canteen and tell which pokemon they got. Ethen was too excited to see his pokemon so he rushed towards his room, others were also hurrying towards their room because they also wanted to know which pokemon they got.

After Ethen reached in his room, he entered training and first called out all his other pokemon out of their pokeball and said while showing them the pokeball of newly received pokemon, "We got another member in our team and I want all of us to meet that new member together, so I will call that friend out now."

After saying that, Ethen pressed the middle button in the pokeball and threw pokeball up in the air and after that there was bright white light and behind that light there was.......
