Tugging his scarf with the utmost importance, Silver found solace in the cold wind. His mouth was hidden within his scarf and his blue eyes, shining brightly at the top of Mt. Silver.
The Mountain distorted immediately, powerful tremors going through Mt. Silver as the sky suddenly changed in color, blackness overflowing the sky... Silver clutched his scarf tightly as determination shone in his eyes, he was ready to brave anything that stood in his path.
A Pokemon emerged from the darkness but he was not alone, a single Pokeball hung at his waistband and he reached for it – it was not a Master ball, neither was it an Ultra ball or a great ball, no it was a regular Pokeball!
"Here we go," Silver muttered as he took in a deep breath and drew the Pokeball backward while clenching his palm around it, "Let us brave this storm together!"
Silver threw the Pokeball toward the shadows, enhancing his arm with aura to make sure that the Pokeball got close enough to the rift... the Pokeball clicked and shone as it spun through the air and opened up, revealing a Pokemon, his partner ready to fight.

Silver gasped as his eyes snapped open.
'That was a strange dream,' Silver thought as he clenched his fist – he couldn't remember the full details of it but he knew he had been getting these kind of dreams over and over again.
He rummaged his right hand through his hair and thinned his lips, surely everything had to be a strange dream. Pulling himself out of the bed, Silver walked to the window and smiled as he saw the Pidgey chirping on the tree.
"It's going to be a great day," Silver said as he watched the Pidgeys fly away, he pushed opened the window and let the morning breeze hit his face, "After all, I'm getting my first Pokemon,"
He had come of age after all, Today was not only the day he was getting his Pokemon but also his birthday.
He chuckled to himself as he reached for the scarf, strewn across his bed like an award – it was a very precious memento to him after all, the last thing his mother gave him before she went on the last mission of her life.
"Don't worry Mom, I'll be safe," Silver said as he wrapped the scarf around his neck and buried his mouth within.
Today was a new day – it was a day when he'd finally be gone from the town where Adventures begin, Pallet town. It had been an exciting 18 years where Silver had made quite a few friends but today was the day where they separated... everyone had to fight their own battles and Silver was prepared for this.
He took off his pajamas as well as his scarf again, feeling the warmth disappear and then he walked to his door, grabbed his towel and went to freshen himself up.

Silver stepped into the living room, finding his father slumped against the couch with a bottle of alcohol next to him. This was an every day occurrence for the boy, ever since his Mother had died – he had to witness his father turn from the caring man that he once was to a man that lazily sat in the living room and drank to his heart's content with the little money they had.
But everything was going to change once Silver left the house, the boy was sure of it – Becoming a Pokemon trainer was a dangerous job but it had it's own yield, the amount of profits that could be obscured from training Pokemon were practically limitless. As long as he trained powerful and strong Pokemon, Silver was sure that he was going to make it in the world and have all the money he wanted.
"I'm leaving," Silver said while tugging on his black backpack, he had stocked it up with equipment he found in his Mom's room- everything needed for his Journey and a bit of food from the Refrigerator.
His father didn't respond and Silver bit his lips silently, drawing the scarf over his mouth. He was wearing a simple black shirt with a crimson Pokeball symbol engraved in the center and long black trousers which seemed to highlight his crimson scarf which he wrapped around his neck.
But the Young adult didn't dwell much upon it as he approached the front door – the last connection between himself and the house, as he reached for the knob, He heard a cough.
"Don't... die on me," Silver's Father said and the boy smiled – of course it was hidden by his scarf.
"I won't," Silver said while undoing the knob, opening the door wide and feeling the morning breeze against his face, "I'll make Mom proud,"
He shut the door behind himself and walked to the Professor's lab nonchalantly, fueled by his determination – he had to, there was no other way to fulfill his Mom's wish... he had to become a Pokemon trainer and to do that, he had to get there early for his favorite Pokemon.
Since it was early, the streets of Pallet town weren't bustling but it's width and the calm townsfolk truly earned it the name 'Pallet' town, Silver liked how everywhere and everyone in his hometown was calm and friendly – they were very easy to associate with and he was grateful for it. The cities were described as places where there were wicked people, people ready to steal another person's Pokemon and ruin another Person's life just for the fun of it. Silver despised those kind of people, they were the very definition of evil and they were experts at hiding their true selves but Silver was going to unveil them... He had to avenge...
All of Silver's thoughts vanished as he noticed a pink-haired girl stepping out of her house with grace in her every step.
His cheeks hidden within his scarf turned to a deep shade of red, he had always admired this girl right from when they were young... everything about her just seemed to turn him on.
"Pink!" Silver exclaimed as he waved at the girl – today was really becoming a good day.
