EPISODE 144: Don't mess with the Trubbish squad!

"Here are your items... thank you for shopping at the Enju Pokemon Department Store." The cashier lady greeted me and Glade as she handed over the items we recently bought.

"Great, now we have the gifts, why don't we find a place to eat?" Glade suggested.

"Sure! I'm starving, it took me a long time to decide a gift." I beamed with joy as my stomach began to growl.

I and Glade walked through the plaza to look for food stalls, there were hundreds or even thousands of people and Pokemons in the area, all of them looked happy and cheerful as they shopped for their essentials. A small donut stall with a gradient of pink and white caught me and Glade's attention.

The oozing smell of the donut, controlled me and Glade's mind, it was dragging us closer to the donut stall. The glazed donuts on the shelf were crammed with sugar and honey as their sweet aroma entered our nostrils.

"We'll have three donuts each please!" I smiled and ordered.

"Oh? Hello there young lads. Six donuts coming right up!" The bartender smiled and beamed with joy. We were instructed to seat down near the umbrella stand while the bartender prepares our meal.

"You know what? I think we should buy our Pokemons some snack too." Glade suggested.

"Huh... right! Hey Mr! Can you please add ten more donuts to our order!" I questioned.

"Haha! Sure, ten more donuts coming right up!" The bartender smiled and agreed with our request.

"Hey... you do know each donut cost 50 prize money right?" Glade questioned.

"Yeah, so that means... 50 multiplied by ten is 500, plus 50 multiplied by six is 300, equals... 800 Prize Money!?" I beamed with shock.

"Don't worry, I'll be the one to pay, for now, that's if... you answer this question," Glade smirked.

"A question? Sure, I'm ready for more Pokemon quizzes!" I beamed with excitement.

"Hee... hee! Do you see this circular silhouette?" Glade took his rotom-phone and showed me a silhouette of a black circle.

"Um yeah! What about it?" I questioned.

"Guess what kind of Pokemon it is, if you got it correct, then I'll pay, if you're wrong... you'll play deal?"

"Sure no problem! This one is an easy one. It's obvious to me, the black circular silhouette is no other than a Voltorb or an Electrode right?"

"Wrong! You're going to pay. Bleh!" Glade laughed and stuck out his tongue.

"What!? I wonder what's the answer then."

"It's a Jigglypuff seen from above! Haha!" Glade laughed harshly.

"Hmph! I'll get you back next time." I beamed with disappointment while handing out 800 prize money. I've earned those prize money in my previous matches.

"A total of sixteen donuts!" The bartender beamed with joy and placed the donuts on our table, in a plate of course.

"Great! Here's the payment... thanks a lot!" Outside I felt happy giving the 800 prize money, but on the inside? Not so much.

Me, Glade, each took three donuts, while our Pokemons each took one donut. Everybody's energy has been restored, as we took a bite on the donut. It tasted too sweet mixed with a salty touch.

"Can I have one more..." Riolu smiled and begged.

"Sure, here's my other half Riolu!" I sliced my second donut in half and gave one to my dearest buddy. Riolu and the other Pokemons enjoyed the donuts so much that we even craved for more.

While we were eating peacefully, a rock flew across the sky and landed inside the trash can. The rock caught our attention, as it makes a landfall in the rubbish bin.

"That's weird... someone threw a rock." Glade wondered as he looked through his surroundings. Another rock flew by and landed on the rubbish bin again.

"Hey... I'm going to check out that rock." I uttered with wonder as I slowly stood up from my seat. I walked closer to the trash can and that's when I and Riolu noticed something.

"Ah!? Kalem... your bag!" Glade alerted and pointed as a dark blue looking Pokemon grabbed it.

<Drilbur! Drilbur!>The Pokemon mocked and stole my bag.

"What!? Hey come back, that's my bag!" I infuriated. Three garbaged looking Pokemon came forth and sprayed ink on my face. They ran off with the Pokemon which stole my bag.

"Wartortle, use water gun on Kalem's eyes!" Glade ordered.

The ink on my eyes were finally removed thanks to Wartortle's water gun, I was able to see clearly as frustration burned inside my body.

"Those little punks... I'll teach them a lesson! Come on Glade, we have to find those Pokemons!" I infuriated.

"But I haven't finished my donuts yet..." Glade complained.

"Then I'll find them myself, Riolu come with me!" I beamed with frustration and ran towards a small alley.

"I'm pretty sure 'myself' means alone." Glade sighed and facepalmed.

"If I get my hands on those pilfering Pokemons, I'll teach them a lesson they'll never forget!" I beamed with frustration while looking for the Pokemons who stole my bag. My gift was inside the bag, especially my prize money!

"Kalem... shhh! Look!" Riolu hushed and pointed. We saw the Pokemons playing with my bag.

"One for you... and one for you... and of course, you deserve one as well!" A Pokemon named Drilbur gave the Trubbishes some of my spare donuts.

"Hmph!? I'll teach those Pokemons a lesson they'll never forget!" I beamed with frustration a Pokeball flew above me and whacked Drilbur on the head.

<Swish!>The Pokeball shook once!

<Swish!>The Pokemon shook twice!

<Swish!>The Pokemon shook thrice!

THE POKEMON HAS BEEN CAUGHT!

"Glade!? you caught Drilbur? I thought you were eating donuts!?" I beamed with surprise.

"Of course! It looks funny, I like it!" Glade teased and laughed.

The Trubbishes from the side saw what happened and infuriated at me and Glade.

"Now that you've caught their leader, we're in big trouble!" I beamed with sarcasm.

<Trubbish!>The Pokemons started to spray ink on our face.

From above, a red Pokemon descended from the sky and protected me and Glade.

<Scizor!>The Pokemon raged with frustration as he swiftly damaged the three Trubbishes with X-Scissor.

"Woah, Scizor's speed is like teleportation, the first second he was on the left and the other? He was on the right!" Glade uttered with shock.

"Of course, my Scizor is my fastest Pokemon so far!" I beamed with happiness and cheered for Scizor.

"What are you doing!?"

"Cheering for Scizor of course."

"Shouldn't you be out there, commanding Scizor?"

"Oh right... oops!" I giggled and rushed out of the bush.

"Scizor use X-Scissor on those Trubbish!"

<Sci! Scizor!>The Pokemon smiled and slashed the three Pokemons away.

"Thanks, Scizor, you're one of the best!" I hugged and complimented as Scizor hugged back.

"Great... I have a new Pokemon in my team." Glade smiled and picked up the Pokeball.

"Well at least you saved my bag. Come on, let's go back to the donut shop! I'm hungry again." I teased as my stomach began to growl.

"Haha! You're always hungry... Come on let's go back!" Glade smiled and laughed.

So... for some reason, Glade caught Drilbur. Well, for me he deserved to be caught since he stole my bag anyways. The gift was safe inside my bag, as so as my other things. Now, the dawn approaches as the festival closes by! Tomorrow will be an exciting experience for all of us. Food, games and more are about to commence!

As the journey continues...
