Chapter 126: Ivysaur and Wartortle

After evolution, the two Pokémon changed from their previous forms, but not drastically.

For example, Wartortle, compared to its previous form as Squirtle, has doubled in height to about one meter and boasts a stronger physique.

"Ivy!" Ivysaur took the initiative, stimulating Grass-type energy, condensing it in the bud on its back, and then forming seeds about ten centimeters in diameter, launching them towards Pikachu!

Although Charmeleon was affected by the sand and couldn't dodge in time, it didn't need to. It stimulated Fire-type energy, gathering it in its mouth, and unleashed a golden flame, Flamethrower, to counter Water Pulse!

"Boom!" The two attacks collided, creating a powerful impact. Water vapor billowed in all directions, obscuring the battlefield.

"Warr!" Water Pulse was neutralized by Charmeleon's Flamethrower, but Wartortle wasn't discouraged; instead, it felt invigorated.

Charmeleon's strength was evident in yesterday's melee. Wartortle, having just evolved, was pleasantly surprised that its attack could counter Charmeleon's.

Meanwhile, despite the obscured vision, Ivysaur, with its keen senses, detected the positions of Pikachu and Charmeleon and launched Razor Leaf without hesitation. The sharp, spinning leaves targeted both opponents.
