Pokemon Plus

Typical transfer to another world (pokemon world) with a system. Happens after Ash/Gary era, 30+ years after. Does not follow the original story. Has a different take in the pokemon metaverse. He doesn't have a goal in mind, just trying to enjoy the pokemon world. Maybe later in the series. This is my first time writing something so I apologize if it's a bit confusing, English isn't my first language so, I may have a lot of wrong spellings, grammar issues, and something wrong with my tenses or POV. Disclaimer I don't own Pokemon

Chapter 38

When the three-minute mark was nearing, it was time for the Junglers (pokemon farming in the jungle) to help the top and bottom lanes to contest for the pokemon cluster spawn.

Team Infernal Groudon decided to attack the top lane since it was their strongest match up. They instructed Ninjask and Bayleef to go to the top and destroy one of the goals.

Ninjask was surprised to see an extremely worn out Bayleef when they met. Bayleef's strength got drained because it was continuously being harassed by Jin. Although Ninjask helped Bayleef from time to time in the jungle, Jin was relentless and was making it difficult for Bayleef to resist.

When Team Infernal Groudon saw one of the opponent's junglers was headed towards the top lane, they decided to let Ninjask move ahead of Bayleef, who was already tired and moving too slow. If Ninjask or Bayleef could not make it in time to the top lane, they would lose their strongest pokemon and would lose a goal. They needed to prevent the top lane from falling.

When Ninjask left, it was Jin's signal to take out Bayleef.

Bayleef started using Synthesis to heal itself thinking that Jin had already gone to the bottom lane. Jin, who was just lurking in the shadows, used Disable to prevent it. Leon gave him instructions to stop Bayleef from healing itself by either using Disable or Taunt.

Team Infernal Groudon was alarmed. They were stuck between a rock and a hard place. They were left with no choice but to prioritize the top lane.

"Bayleef, hold out somehow. Once they destroy the goal at the top lane, they will help you right away," Team Infernal Groudon ordered.

"Jin, use Mean Look," Leon instructed.

Jin immediately used Mean Look to prevent Bayleef from escaping.

Bayleef used Leaf Storm around itself to create a physical cover and buy it some time. Then, Bayleef used Ingrain to get a bit of healing.

Jin used Toxic and due to Bayleef being unable to move, it got hit and was badly poisoned. Bayleef retaliated by firing a Solar Beam at where it saw Jin, but he already slipped back into the shadows to avoid the attack. Jin used Will-O-Wisp and burned Bayleef when it finished firing it's Solar Beam.

This was Leon's plan from the start since they didn't want to fight Bayleef head on. Slowly wearing it out was their strategy.

"Jin use Rainy Day to prevent Bayleef from using Sunny Day and activating it's Leaf Guard ability to cure the poison and burning ailments," Leon instructed.

Bayleef was now badly poisoned and was burning. Every time it tried to heal itself, Jin would use Disable or Taunt to stop it, just as Leon instructed. Jin didn't even emerge from the shadows anymore but just slowly stalked Bayleef and occasionally sent out attacks. They were waiting until Bayleef ran out of stamina. After a few minutes of its healing being stopped repeatedly, it finally fainted from the poison and burn damage.

"Bayleef has been knocked out and can no longer battle!" an announcement rang.
