Gym of Striaton City: Part 1

[P.O.V 3rd person]

After training and getting acquainted with his new partner, Touya rested for a while at the pokémon center and then went to the gym.

Nothing important happened in training, apart from Oshawott learning about focus energy.

Upon entering, the first thing they were greeted by was the presenter.

"Hi, I'm here to advise the trainers who want to challenge this gym, you can call me Conse" said Conse with a smile.

Conse wears a white shirt, brown pants and a tie and shoes of the same color, he also has white hair and black glasses and looks to be in his 50s.

"My name is Touya" Touya said with a small smile.

"Here, it will be useful to you after the second trainer" said Conse feeling sorry for the poor Touya.

"Why specifically the second?" Touya asked confused.

"You'll know" the presenter said mysteriously and then left.

"I am scared already" Touya said with a bit of reluctance.

Touya walked a bit and found a curtain with the symbol of fire and three buttons of plant, water and fire.

"Apparently it's about the type table" Touya said after thinking for a moment.

Touya stood on the water button and.

The curtain opened.

Behind the curtain was a young man dressed as a butler waiting.

"Welcome to your first challenge before facing the gym leader" said the young man with a respectful tone.

"I will be your opponent in this test" said the young man with determination.

"I want a fair battle and whoever defeats all the opponent's pokémon will get the victory" said the presenter, appearing suddenly.

"Come out Lillipup" said the young butler throwing a pokeball.

"Can you help me friend?" Touya asked Pansear on his shoulder.

"Pan Pansear!" Pansear said determinedly.

"Osha!" Oshawott said in an annoyed tone next to Touya.

"Don't worry, you will fight next time" Touya said reassuring Oshawott.

Both pokémon got ready until the presenter said.

"Now!" said the presenter excitedly.

"Pansear use incinerate" Touya said quickly.

"Lillipup dodge it and use a bite" -Trainer.

Lillipup dodged most of the damage, but he still took damage.

"Pansear use leer and then dodge" Touya said as Lillipup approached.

Using leer the Lillipup scared a bit and was easier to dodge.

"Use incinerate and finish him" Touya said seriously.

The trainer didn't have time to react and Lillipup was beaten.

"Lillipup can no longer continue, trainer Touya is the winner" said the presenter seriously.

"Congratulations, you passed the first test" said the trainer and then heal Lillipup.

"Can you tell me what's in the second test?" Touya asked with a little fear.

"No, but I'll just tell you that it's the real challenge of this gym" said the trainer as he has a shiver.

Touya and his pokémon walked reluctantly towards the second curtain.

This one had a picture of the water, so Touya approached the plant button.

"Are you ready?" Touya said looking at his pokémon.

They both nodded determinedly as Touya pressed the button.

When the curtains were opened, Touya could see a woman in her 20s with a smile on her face.

'She doesn't seem so bad' Touya thought with confusion and relief.

"Ara ara, but what a handsome young man, welcome darling to the second test" said the woman with a seductive tone.

"H-huh?" was the only thing Touya could say with a red face.

"You could say that I'm your second course, so don't be shy" said the woman as she licked her lips and fingers seductively.

At that Touya turned even redder and covered his face with his cap.

"Here is where all men fall" said the presenter with understanding.

After a very awkward battle Touya reached the third stage.

He was still red-faced and could only say one thing.

"I hate my teenage hormones" Touya said in a tired tone while he drank water and splashed some in his face.

"I understand you" said the presenter in front of him with the same tone.

Touya went up the stairs and came to a place that looked like a restaurant.

"I see you managed to survive the second test, you are worthy of facing me" Cilan said with a smile.

Touya just looked at him with a bit of annoyance.

"You should heal your pokémon first" Cilan said with a warning tone.

"Do you want me to go next to her twice more?, Besides, my pokémon have not received any damage so far" Touya said with complete denial.

"Wow, you are a very promising trainer, then let's get started ..." Cilan said pointing up.

"With ..." said a blue haired man coming out from behind Cilan and pointing to the right.

"The battle!" said another red haired man coming out from behind Cilan and pointing to the left with excitement.

And so the battle against the gym leader began.
