Gym of Mistralton City: Part 2

Gerania threw her first pokeball and said.

"Come out Swoobat, show him the power of the winds" Gerania said with emotion taking out a large bat very similar to Woobat only with eyes and less round.

"You will go first Krokorok" Touya said throwing a pokeball with calm.

"The fight between the leader Gerania and the challenger Touya begins..." Conse said appearing out of nowhere as usual.

Touya and Gerania focused on combat and...

"Now!" Conse said seriously.

"Swoobat use air cutter" Gerania said keeping her distance.

"Krokorok use dig and dodge it" Touya said reacting quickly.

Krokorok dug into the ground quickly and dodged Swoobat's attack with ease, then got underneath him.

"Use Crunch" Touya said seriously.

"Swoobat you know what to do" Gerania said with a smile.

Krokorok came out of the ground quickly and tried to bite the Swoobat, but Swoobat only rose a bit and dodged it with ease, then struck him with air cutter.

"It's useless rookie, in this gym you learn two things, the freedom that should be given to the pokemon and take advantage of the environment, if you don't know that you can't win" Gerania said with confidence.

'Freedom and environment huh?' Touya thought seriously.

"Swoobat use air cutter again" Gerania said without letting Touya think.

"Krokorok use torment and then you know what to do" Touya said getting out of his thoughts.

Krokorok tormented Swoobat making him unable to use his attack again and hid underground.

"Not bad, but all skills have a time limit" Gerania said without any concern.

'Tch, there has to be some way' Touya thought a bit annoyed.

The battlefield was the same as all the others, a common rock field with nothing around it.

Swoobat was flying about 15 meters above the ground and was unreachable by Krokorok.

'Got it' Touya thought after a couple of minutes.

"Are you going to do something? This is a bit boring" Gerania said a little impatiently.

"Krokorok get under Swoobat" Touya said seriously.

"You don't learn, do you rookie?" Gerania said a little disappointed.

"This is for throw me out of a cannon" Touya said with an evil smile.

"Krokorok use bulldoze upwards" Touya said seriously.

Krokorok quickly understood and kicked a piece of rock towards Swoobat.

The rock fell apart after hitting Swoobat due to his lack of hardness, causing little damage but causing him to lose his vision because the dust.

"Krokorok use crunch" Touya said quickly.

"Swoobat dodge it using your echolocation" Gerania said taking the fight more seriously.

Although Swoobat tried to dodge it was too late and was hit by Krokorok's attack, knocking him out.

"Swoobat can no longer continue, the Gerania leader only has two pokemon left" Conse said seriously.

"Well done Krokorok" Touya said with a smile.

"Krokorok" Krokorok said proudly.

"Not bad, I admit I underestimated you, but that won't happen again" Gerania said with a defiant smile and returning Swoobat to his pokeball.

"Come out Swanna" Gerania said seriously pulling out what seemed to be a very strange swan.

"Krokorok come back, you deserve a break" Touya said seriously.

"Hey buddy, can you help me a bit?" Touya said gently tapping his right pocket.

"Tynamo!" Tynamo said coming out of Touya's pocket with determination.

"Swanna use aqua ring" Gerania said quickly.

"Tynamo use charge beam" Touya said trying to stop Swanna.

Still Swanna finished earlier and was able to dodge Tynamo's attack as well.

"Swanna use water pulse" Gerania said seriously.

"Tynamo, dodge it and use spark" said Touya quickly.

Due to Tynamo's small size he was able to dodge the attack with ease and then approach Swanna covered in electricity.

"Swanna stay away and use bubble beam" Gerania said wanting to keep her distance at all costs.

"Tynamo use charge beam to fight back then you know what to do" Touya said seriously.

Swanna shot some water bubbles which collided with Tynamo's charge beam making a cloud of steam.

"Swanna use defog" Gerania said unable to see through the steam.

Swanna flapped his wings and cleared the steam returning his sight and making her see Tynamo next to her.

"Tynamo use thunder wave" Touya said with a smile.

"Swanna use water pulse and finish him off" Gerania said quickly.

Tynamo generated a small electric field that instantly paralyzed Swanna, but still he was hit by the water pulse and knocked out.

"Tynamo can no longer continue, the challenger Touya has four pokemon left" Conse said with a professional tone.

"You did very well my friend, I'm proud" Touya said returning Tynamo to his pokeball with a smile.

"Your turn Dewott" Touya said throwing a pokeball.

"Swanna use aqua jet" Gerania said to Swanna who seemed to be recovering due to the aqua ring.

"Dewott dodge her and use scald" said Touya focused on the combat.

Dewott was able to dodge Swanna who was moving with a bit of difficulty and then used scald doing some damage.

"Hey friend, this would be a good time for a convenient evolution" Touya said a little worried.

"De Dewott" Dewott said looking at Touya with blank eyes.

Dewott seemed to think a bit and then covered himself with water and then went to Swanna impulsed by it, thus learning aqua jet.

"Well, something is something" Touya said without complaining.

Dewott hit Swanna hard who seemed more affected by paralysis doing good damage and Gerania said.

"Swanna use air slash" Gerania said a little worried.

"Use revenge and throw her to the ground" Touya said quickly.

Dewott grabbed the wing with which Swanna wanted to attack him and using the momentum he threw her against the ground

"Finish this with razor shell!" Touya said excitedly.

"Dewott!" Dewott said also excited.

Dewott used razor shell with both hands and defeated Swanna with his last blow.

"Swanna can no longer continue, the leader Gerania only has one pokemon left" Conse said seriously.

"Come back Dewott, you did a good job" Touya said returning a tired Dewott to his pokeball.

"You learn at an alarming rate rookie, but I still have a pokemon left" Gerania said with seriousness and emotion.

"Come out Unfezant, give order to the heavens" Gerania said throwing a pokeball from which a large gray brown and black bird came out.

"Your turn Darmanitan" Touya said also throwing a pokeball.

"Unfezant use air slash and if he attacks you you know what to do" Gerania said with determination.

"Darmanitan use fire fist" Touya said quickly.

When Unfezant was close to Darmanitan he tried to hit her, but she forced her eyes a little and dodged him easily and then hit him with an aerial slash.

'Detect again huh? But this time she doesn't seem to push too hard' Touya thought, analyzing the situation quickly.

"Unfezant use air slash again" Gerania said confidently.

"Darmanitan use fire punch..." Touya said without finishing his sentence.

When Unfezant was close to Darmanitan she forced her eyes and Touya said.

"Against the floor!" Touya said finishing his sentence out loud.

Darmanitan hit the ground hard, cracking it and making a cloud of dust that entered in Unfezant's eyes.

"Unfezant fly out and get out of there!" Gerania said with concern.

"Darmanitan use flare blitz" Touya said without letting Unfezant escape.

Darmanitan covered his body with fire and rammed Unfezant with all of his might, throwing her toward the wall and knocking her unconscious.

"Unfezant can no longer continue, the winner is the challenger Touya" said Conse giving the victory to Touya.

"We did it!" Touya said happily.

"Darmanitan!" shouted Darmanitan passionately.

Gerania approached Touya with the badge and a TM in her hand and said.

"Congratulations for beating me rookie, or should I say Touya, you deserve the jet badge more than anyone else besides the TM acrobatics" Gerania said with a smile giving both to Touya.

"That battle was so exciting, I could almost feel my blood boiling!" Gerania said very excited.

Touya saved the badge and the TM and prepared to leave but.

"By the way Touya, when I was flying over the Twist Mountain, the one near Icirrus City, I could see the team plasma, the oxygenated Camila told me that you had problems with them, you should go to take a look" Gerania said with one hand on her chin.

"I see, thanks for everything Gerania, except for the cannon" Touya said wanting to leave as quickly as possible.

"Not so fast Touya, the only way to get out of here is through that cannon" Gerania said with a smile pointing to a cannon behind her.

"So you really wanted the demand huh?" Touya said thoughtfully.

"Don't, wait, I'll find a ladder!" Gerania said a little nervous.

And so Touya got the sixth badge and a ladder to go down.
