Pokemon: Brock's Younger Brother?

David never thought he would be transmigrated after a tired day of work. Waking up to the feeling of nausea. But there he was... Now on his feet up in the middle of a dark room with his other siblings there. "I'm Forrest?" Looking around David was shaken as he assessed his situation. David was in for a surprise as the son of Flint and the second eldest of the family as Brock's little brother. ___________________ There will be no "Levels" or "Talents". The Story will be more realistic with add-ons by myself of course. But I won't make the story "dark" as I enjoy Pokemon for the brighter side of the series and catching Pokemon. Some cities, towns, or small pieces of information will be made up myself to fit the story.

Sweet Tooth

"I just can't decide," I say with a frown. Looking at the Pokemon in front of me with a frown, I scratch my hair in frustration.

This was a decision I for some reason didn't think of beforehand. In hindsight, this really annoyed me a lot knowing I didn't plan ahead. Hulk hearing my words just gets a "Are you serious" look.

"If you can't decide then just get Tyrogue." I hear Hulk say. Turning my head left I see Hulk showings a thumbs up to my indecisiveness.

Making up my mind I pick Tyrogue which I could evolve into any of the three Pokemon in the future. Plus having a friendly rivalry between myself and Bea's Tyrogue would be pretty fun.

(A/N: Thanks Yachii_ for suggesting this in the last chapter. Yoinked it immediately!)

"I'll take Tyrogue," I announce making the little guy visibly glow up. After being picked over by another Tyrogue the little guy had their confidence shattered which I understand.

It's like getting picked last in P.E. as a kid. With Tyrogue being an actual "kid" it hits its emotional state even more.

While Pokemon mature extremely fast depending on their species, this is enhanced further if a Pokemon evolves. A baby Pokemon can get influenced very easily by its surroundings like a human baby.

But instead of it being over time, for a Pokemon, it's pretty fast. This can be seen with Pokemon taking after their trainers often.

"Tyrogue?" It hopefully said walking up to me. Smiling at the little guy, I pat its head making the little guy growl in happiness.

It rubbed its head on my legs showing its affection for its new trainer. Seeing the Pokemon gently show this affection I couldn't but help but think of how cute it is.

"The two youngest of the group were picked, how poetic! Hopefully, they both become strong Pokemon. No, I know they will." Hulk says with even more tears in his eyes. He must be really proud/sad seeing these Pokemon being chosen.

The guy's like a Dad.

With the choices now over, the rest of the Pokemon group dispersed in disappointment but happiness at the same time. As they know that their little brothers got picked.

"Clefairy you think you can take care of your little sibling over here?" I asked holding out the incubator.

"Fairy fare!" The little fluff puffed out its chest doing a cute salute. Both Hulk and I seeing this chuckled a little as Clefairy was given the incubator.

With my hands now free, I take a Pokeball from my bag with my Pokedex in hand.

Crouching down to Tyrogue's height. I take the Pokeball and tap the little scuffle Pokemon which is engulfed with a red beam.

"Tyrogue!"

*Phsszszst*

*Ding*

The capture was instant which made me smile. Opening up my Pokedex I hover the Pokeball over the blue gem.

'I wonder what moves it has.' I thought to myself eagerly. This guy is part of the best Pokemon this dojo has trained up, it must have learned some good moves.

And even if it hasn't it should have a good foundation physically for training everyday, which makes up for the moves.

[Tyrogue (The Scuffle Pokemon)]

Height: 0.9m (2'11")

Type: Fighting

Ability: Steadfast (If the said Pokemon flinches, its speed increases)

Moves: {Fake Out}, {Focus Energy}, {Helping Hand}, {Tackle}, {High-Jump Kick}, {Bullet Punch}, {Rapid Spin}, {Mind Reader}, {Feint}.

'Damn that's so good, but that's also sooo bad for my future planning.' I said to myself with conflicting thoughts. Its moves are amazing which is something I could never complain about.

But I was hoping for its ability to be {Guts} for an easier time at the Fuchsia City Gym. Of course, it probably won't be needed but if one of my Pokemon could "resist" poison/get stronger from it happening. It would make life much easier for me though.

"Its moves are amazing," I say out loud. Hulk who heard this got a smug look and looked away embarrassed.

"Thank you for Tyrogue Hulk, sir." I hear Bea say doing a little bow. Doing the same shortly after Hulk got in front of the two of us.

"The best thanks you guys could give me is to make the two Tyrogue strong Pokemon and win battles." He says getting a bit emotional. After a little send-off and me taking back the incubator, both Bea and I made our way out together.

"Are they good?" I ask taking a piece of chocolate myself. The piece of chocolate had an oval shape with a drizzle of milk chocolate on it.

Bea who had already dug into three pieces of the expensive chocolate, was all smiles at this point.

"It's showw yhummy." She responded with stars in her eyes. Chuckling at her words I take a bite myself.

'Holy shit this is great.' I thought to myself. With a dreamy look, I tasted how the insides of the chocolate melted in my mouth.

"It's good no?" Bea said with a huge smile seeing my expression. It seems like she can't mask her smile in front of sweets.

It's pretty cute.

"Well, it better be if these things cost 30,000₱." I pout remembering the actual prices of these things. My total earnings would be 260k+ which would last me practically my whole journey.

But this chocolate shaved off more than a couple of weeks of money man. It's not that I need it but damn do rich people spend.

Like my mum.

"Hehe." Bea giggle seeing me pout. At times like these, she just seems like any other teenage girl I've talked to. Which I know is crazy that she is which "surprises me".

"So what's the Galar region like?" I ask as Bea took another bite of some chocolate.

"Bigger buildings but less land. Kanto is way more spread out due to its size of it while Galar is smaller. It's way better to travel here than there because of all the cool places to visit." Bea said with interest. Taking out her phone she proceeded to show me some pictures of selfies and places she's visited. "How many badges do you have so far? I could

Imagine more than me at least."

Scratching my chin I get an awkward feeling hearing her words. Because I actually only have one so far.

And it's the one I just got…

"I only have one which is from the dojo I just beat. I've already planned out my Gym battles so I have to travel to Fuchsia City." I respond getting an embarrassed look. Bea who heard this got a smug look and showed me her badge case.

She already had over three badges with one being an official badge which was pretty impressive for the start of the Indigo League season. The faster she gets eight gym badges the more time she gets to train for the conference at the end.

"What a show-off!" I chuckle making her blush in embarrassment. As this was happening both of our Tyrogue's were sitting on the floor eating their own chocolates.

"Ty ty!"

"Tyrogue?"

My Tyrogue didn't like dark chocolate too much which funnily enough made Bea's Tyrogue mad. Both Bea and I watched as the two started to complain to each other in interest.

While the two were head-butting each other I got an idea that could start a small rivalry. The reason it started was over what chocolate is better but they'll forget the reason later on.

"You reckon we should settle their fight with a Pokemon battle," I suggest.

"If it helps." She simply says not seeing a problem with that. We were currently in a place called "Maison du Chocolat", it's a place based on Kalos which surely attracts customers.

Quite costly but that doesn't matter for practically everyone here though, and could I blame them?

Looking around there were multiple men in suits and women in dresses. It seems like they visit this place to chat quite often as a pastime. Now that I think about it what do people do to pass the time?

Could be a great business idea.

"Alright, are you ready?" I say from the other side of the small battlefield. Bea who heard this gave me a little nod which I understood.

Looking over at the two Tyrogue who were on the flat battlefield I smirked.

'This will be interesting.' I thought to myself. The outcome of the battle mattered a lot and in this case how it will mentally affect the other.

I'm sure they already know who's stronger already but this is in front of their trainers and they do not want to disappoint. Not that I care if he wins or losses, with me he'll become strong.

Before the battle began I took a glance at a bench behind me. This is to see Clefairy and Lairon with the incubator just in case someone wants to steal it.

"Okay let's get this started," I tell my Tyrogue making it growl out in response.

"Tyrogue use {Fake Out}" I command.

"Go! {Bullet Punch}." Bea shouts doing a jab.

Both Pokemon rushing up to each other with glowing fists go for a strike. Despite both of the moves being a priority, Bea's Tyrogue was able to dodge and weave {Bullet Punch} before doing a clap on my Pokemon's head.

*Clap*

"Ty?" Tyrogue flinching at the move suddenly feels a surge of speed.

"Use {Feint} now don't let it get ahead!"

"You need to balance between defence and attack Tyrogue, {Rapid Spin} go!"

Tyrogue with a glow in its fists dashes forward, kicking the ground. But its opponent who wasn't sitting idly went on its hands and started to spin.

"Tyrogue!" The Pokemon roared out as it strikes. My Tyrogue finding an opening from the spinning opponent quickly attacks which gets a hit.

But this also ends up hitting him as a leg swats him on the chest.

*Boom*

"Rogue!" Both Pokemon cry out being sent flying back. Looking at my Tyrogue on the floor, I pause a little to give him some time to recover.

My opponent Bea doing the same thing creates a small stoppage time for them to regain themselves and stand on their feet.

Bea and I gave each other eye contact as we went back to the Pokemon battle.

"{Bullet Punch}!" The both of us shout signalling for our Pokemon to attack.

Immediately the two Tyrogues dashed at each other but there was a glaring difference of speed as they didn't meet at the halfway point.

My Tyrogue proceeded to dodge an incoming punch and send a jab of his own to his opponent causing some damage.

Bea's Tyrogue tanked the hit of mine and used a punch of its own to send my Pokemon into the air.

"That's it," I murmur remembering one of my Pokémon's moves. "{High Jump Kick} quickly, use the momentum from falling down!"

Tyrogue who heard my words willed himself midair and positioned itself to land over its opponent. Bea who saw this realised it was too late to dodge and had to make a move.

"{Rapid Spin} now!" She shouted doing a little kick.

My Tyrogue gained some serious momentum as it was descending, encasing it's legs with a saturated brown as it came down.

Its opponent with minimal time started to spin right before impact.

Tyrogue who was poised to land a hit, suddenly felt the back of one of its legs get smacked causing it to get off balance.

This made the poor guy redirect its hit and land on the ground causing serious recoil damage.

*Crash!*

"Tyrogue!" The Pokemon cried out. Looking at my downed Pokemon, I realised that Bea had the advantage from the start knowing fighting types the best.

'Damn, she already knew how to counter {High Jump Kick}.' I whistled to myself impressed at her quick thinking. Her play style is a mix of defence and attack which makes sense considering she's a fighting-type trainer.

I mean she got a Hitmontop in the anime.

"Tyrogue that's enough," I say walking up to the little guy. Tyrogue who was looking at the floor too embarrassed to look me in the eyes thought I was mad.

But to its surprise, I picked it up cheerfully and put it over my shoulders.

"You did so well buddy, keep it up and you'll become stronger in no time. It's your first battle so don't get too bummed out" I praise making the scuffle Pokemon widen its eyes. With a spark in its eyes, it now had a new decision to train with vigour and never lose a battle again.

'All part of the plan.' I smirk to myself.

Bea who saw this got a small smile on the corner of her mouth and patted her Tyrogue right after. She ended up scolding the Pokemon to not get too confident, showing the Pokemon her strict side wanting nothing but perfection.

Today was a very fruitful day and in many ways more than one.

(A/N: Some guy gave me a one-star review do I delete that? I mean if I do it's ironic because there are five-star reviews that aren't actual reviews xD)
