Pokemon: Brock's Younger Brother?

David never thought he would be transmigrated after a tired day of work. Waking up to the feeling of nausea. But there he was... Now on his feet up in the middle of a dark room with his other siblings there. "I'm Forrest?" Looking around David was shaken as he assessed his situation. David was in for a surprise as the son of Flint and the second eldest of the family as Brock's little brother. ___________________ There will be no "Levels" or "Talents". The Story will be more realistic with add-ons by myself of course. But I won't make the story "dark" as I enjoy Pokemon for the brighter side of the series and catching Pokemon. Some cities, towns, or small pieces of information will be made up myself to fit the story.

With Aerodactyl now captured we still had some company, while in the original story, they ran off due to fear. But there's a big difference between waking up after a long nap and being woken up after a short one, with them irritated they will definitely attack.

So I can't really blame them.

Even if they had watched Lairon beat their "Alpha" they still have some rage to vent. Before this though an idea popped into my head making me smirk.

'I can document this for views.' I thought, looking at their eyes barely covered by the shadows.

Pulling out my custom Pokedex from my pockets, I open it up and press the record button.

"Hello, it's Forest here and currently we are stuck in Grampa Canyon. Now I know it looks like we're in a cave because we are." I casually talk.

"Fairy fairy..." Clefairy chimes in with a cute face. Pointing the camera for a few seconds at her tired complexion I move on.

"You can see by her looks that we have been lost for a while but I found rare Pokemon down here. Now it's not just one but multiple Ancient Pokemon!

Just look on ahead and see." I murmur pointing the camera to the eyes.

Slowly as turned around, right on cue some Pokemon started to make their way cautiously. While some were already in the light making them visible, others just barely kept themselves in the shadows.

"KABUTOPS!"

"OMASTAR!"

They both roar out with bloodshot eyes which are similar to Aerodactyl. Observing the company there was a pair of each evolution here, two Kabutops, two Kabutos, two Omanytes and two Omastars. It was quite the crowd and to be honest very valuable out in the Pokemon world.

(A/N: Those were the exact numbers shown in the anime)

"Tyrogue it's your turn, everybody else stand by," I command. Tyrogue getting a glint in its eyes nodded with bridled excitement

'A rotom dex that can record for me would be pretty useful right about now.' I inwardly grumble watching Tyrogue position himself.

"Kabutops!" One of the pair shouts as it rushes forward with vigour.

*Crack* *Crack*

With its footsteps literally making cracks on the floors, I couldn't let my Pokemon just stand still. Even with the Pokemon's skinny legs it still had a lot of power to output which clearly eclipses the little Tyrogue.

"Tyrogue use {Fake-Out} and then target the knees with {Bullet Punch}."

"Tyrogue!" It shouts hearing my words.

*Slap!*

Right before Kabutops got in front of Tyrogue, the fighter simply dodged the hit with a timed jump and slapped both sides of its face, basically stunning it.

"Tops?" It says with blurred vision. Tyrogue taking the opportunity enhanced its arms with metal energy and hit both knees.

*Boom* *Boom*

"TOPPSSS!" It roars out instantly falling to the ground. Watching it completely fold in a matter of seconds, my eyes wander to the other Pokemon.

Obviously, they weren't just watching as all of them started to use {Water Gun}

'Sh*t that's a synchronised attack. That's something that could actually harm him.'

"Tyrogue {Mind Reader} and then {High-Jump Kick} on the left Omastar!"

*Swish!*

With a simple but effective upward jump, Tyrogue combined a dodge and sequenced it into an attack.

*Swoosh!*

Gliding down at breakneck pace, it was too fast for the Omastar to react as the Pokemon got hit by a super effective move, rendering it fainted.

*Crash!*

The other Pokemon not sitting still tried to help out but nothing could stop the Tyrogue. With the guy too far to have commands help him, he started to let his creativity shine.

"Tch..." Tyrogue clicks its tongue seeing its situation.

With another Kabutops on its way with a {Night Slash}, Tyrogue simply outspeeds with {Bullet-Punch} and strikes the knees.

'Three down, five more to go.' Tyrogue thought showing a creepy smile towards the Pokemon.

Thankfully his back was facing the camera.

"Kabu!" One of the Kabuto screams alarmed at its comrades writhing in pain. With more moves like {Water Gun} on their way, Tyrogue just repeated itself.

Pokemon not godly talented or from a strong species, lacked a basic problem-solving level of intelligence.

*Swoosh!*

Tyrogue easily dodging by using his priority move, gets up to one of the Omanyte who starts to curl up with {Withdraw}.

Not even thinking twice the scuffle Pokemon uses {Feint} to instantly knock it out but hitting its weak spot. With it doing the same to the two other Kabuto and Omanyte soon after.

"Everything seems to be going fine over there," I murmur seeing the Tyrogue move with rhythm and a lax posture. While it might seem weird it somewhat reminds me of Goku.

Every hit flows like water and doesn't feel rigid while still containing power.

Like a dance…

*CRASH!*

Hearing that final hit, I assumed the task was finished. Still holding the camera I walk closer to the scene of battle in awe.

Tyrogue who was in the middle of multiple fainted Pokemon turned around and showed a thumbs-up.

Quickly ending the video there I started to upload it to Pokebook and see some reactions, who doesn't want to see some comments?

"Clefairy!"

The pink ball seeing her injured friend rushed into the Pokémon's arms and hugged him. It looked more like Tyrogue catching a pink ball as the impact had no force on it despite Clefairy's speed.

"Alright Squirtle, Clefairy, take these Pokeballs and capture two each," I command making the two nod. Taking out four Pokeballs for myself I capture the two Kabutops and Omastars.

The evolutions of Kabuto and Omanyte.

*Phssszssst!*

*Ding!*

As each Pokeball successfully captured their respective Pokemon, they started to disappear in a white glow, one by one.

"Alright, that should be everyone." I sigh in relief finally done with this short expedition. From my preference the Pokemon I show on the video won't be on my team for multiple different reasons, one being type coverage. Obviously, Aerodactyl is a rock type but I don't have a flyer on the team so training him to fly me across the region is priority one right now.

Plus with his initial strength, I just need to teach discipline and type coverage moves. Thankfully Aerodactyl should be until the last two weeks before the Indigo Conference starts.

'I'll save for the last few battles,'

Even if I'm optimistic about my Pokemon, the limits of their growth in a span of 9-10 months won't be enough to beat teams with 1-5 years or more of experience. Only Lairon, Aerodactyl, Scyther and maybe Squirtle if evolved to a Blastiose would help.

Even then that isn't a full team of six.

I'd rather not evolve Squirtle into a Blastiose in a year as accumulative power gain into evolution is what it possible to skip basic strength training.

While it's possible to grind a Pokemon who evolved early as seen in the anime with size comparisons, it could take 5 years to get to a certain strength level. Unless you let your Pokemon take its time it can wait an extra two years and gain a three-year lead on the previous Pokemon. There are debates about whether taking early evolution and grinding it out for a few years is better, but I'd rather listen to Brock and Dad (Flint).

Speaking of leads from my knowledge trainers can search for trainer's teams with the data files of others being public two weeks before the first Indigo League battle. The only catch is that you need to be eligible with badges and participate in the battles to have access.

So even if you have badges, no room time for you. The same can be said if you're not participating in the Indigo League as well.

"Alright Lairon let's head out, our next destination is Fuchsia City."

After waiting a few minutes for Clefairy to successfully heal everyone with {Heal Pulse}, Lairon then floated us out of the cave through the top.

'My little field trip has ended in success.' I thought satisfied with the outcome.

Taking my Pokedex out of my bag, I place Aerodactyl's Pokeball on top of the blue gem to scan his statistics. While I could search his info without the Pokeball, it's faster this way as I'd need to scroll through the other Pokemon I've caught today.

[Aerodactyl]

(~~~)

{Pokemon: Ancient Aerodactyl (The Fossil Pokemon)]

Type: Rock/Flying

Height: 1.88m (6'2)

Ability: Pressure (Can naturally exert suffocating pressure which makes opponents tire themselves faster, or for the weaker Pokemon, submit through fear.)

Moves: {Ancient Power}, {Bite}, {Supersonic}, {Wing Attack}, {Scary Face}, {Rock Slide}, {Roar}, {Crunch}, {Iron Head}, {Take Down}, {Stone Edge}, {Agility}, {Hyper Beam}, {Fire Fang}, {Ice Fang}, {Thunder Fang}.

(~~~)

'Why does it say ancient? It does look a bit different than the Aerodactyl in the Pokedex.' I thought to myself rubbing my chin. The overall face structure and the distinct whole-foot difference in height really show the difference.

Aerodacyl isn't meant to be that huge.

In the anime from my memories, the guy was just a little taller than Ash's Charizard which we can predict is 5'7, so the guy has grown just a little since then.

There is a chance that a revived ancient Pokemon are naturally weaker than an authentic Pokemon like what I've caught. From Mega-Evolution lore some megas are just said to be their Pokemon's ancient form such as Aerocadactyl himself.

'Hypothetically if I let him grow stronger he would be in his Mega form but without the pain as he won't be forced to gain much power?'

With a glint in my eyes, I proceeded to do the same for the other fossil Pokemon. I quickly double-checked their authenticity and couldn't; help but sport a giddy grin that wouldn't go off anytime soon.

*Ding!*

[Kabutops_01]

(~~~)

{Pokemon: Ancient Kabutops (The Shellfish Pokemon)]

Type: Rock/Water

Height: 1.60m (5'3)

Ability: Weak Armour (When hit, defence is lowered while speed is increased)

Moves: {Scratch}, {Harden}, {Absorb}, {Leer}, {Mud Shot}, {Sand Attack}, {Endure}, {Aqua Jet}, {Mega Drain}, {Metal Sound}, {Night Slash}, {Feint}, {Hyper Beam}, {Slash}, {Giga Drain}.

(~~~)

*Ding!*

[Kabutops_02]

(~~~)

{Pokemon: Ancient Kabutops (The Shellfish Pokemon)]

Type: Rock/Water

Height: 1.55m (5'1)

Ability: Swift Swin (Gets a speed boost when absorbing water not from itself, such as rain)

Moves: {Scratch}, {Harden}, {Absorb}, {Leer}, {Mud Shot}, {Sand Attack}, {Endure}, {Aqua Jet}, {Mega Drain}, {Metal Sound}, {Night Slash}, {Feint}, {Hyper Beam}, {Slash}, {Aurora Beam}.

(~~~)

These two Kabutops do not have the "similar" traits normal revived ones do. One is the obvious height and different looks, but other than that there aren't any special moves apart from {Aurora Beam} and {Giga Drain} separately.

Taking all the Pokeballs, I returned everyone besides Squirtle as it was now his turn to chill in the basket. With everything now packed and ready I take out my bicycle and start my little paddle to Fuchsia.

*Swoosh~*

Feeling the cool breeze hit my face I couldn't help but smirk. Squirtle who just got himself settled in with a blanket was already deeply sleeping.

*Snore*

"Have a good nap buddy," I murmur patting the tiny turtle's head. Squirtle squirming a little at my touch, started to relax itself with a satisfied hum.

'Cute.'

(A/N: Sorry for the wait guys I just finished two Math tests and my brain hurts. If you have ever done advanced math/specialist math/methods at year 12 then maybe you know my struggles lmao. I'm taking two math classes, bio, and chem.)

How fun it is to vent :)
