EPISODE 64: The Discussion!*

Evening continued to roll, the moon is reaching its denouement and the sun is just at the east. During this hour at Veilstone City, Cyrus arrived at his skyscraper to see how things are going. It would bring at least a tiny smile to his face to know his members had succeeded in obtaining the sacred Uxie, being of knowledge.

However, upon his arrival there, he was only greeted with terrible, terrible news that intensified his broody expression. Nonetheless, he knew he must forget about one of his favorite commanders and move on with the plan. Both Mars and Jupiter were scared to report but with a heavy heart, they faced Cyrus.

At his office is where the two commanders knocked. Cyrus allowed them to come in and that is where their talk began. Playing with some puzzles he bought on the way to his skyscraper, Cyrus's ears were listening, hopefully the words he is about to hear today won't add a headache.

"Master Cyrus." Mars started the report. Her words trembled as she said them. She wasn't confident as she heavily choked her saliva.

"Y-yes? Go on." Cyrus replied.

"The operation um... at first everything was done perfectly. The bomb exploded, the Pokemon emerged-"

"In the end?" Cyrus intervened in Jupiter's words.

"Saturn and the rest of our troops alongside Elite Operative Pluto had been apprehended by the Pokemon International Police. They failed after the attack of Team Rocket." uttered, Jupiter.

"A mere amount of eight, defeated a hundred?"

"They- um... they were intelligent enough to defeat them," Mars replied.

"Team Rocket? Those nitwits never stop. I guess this means I'll be burning Saturn's paper today. So? Did Team Rocket obtain Uxie?"

"Y-yes, Master." replied, Mars.

"Is this some sort of race to them? Do they know you need all three to summon Dialga and Palkia not just one? This isn't like the weather mirages. I was expecting to hear good news today but it turns out things are far worse than expected. Sigh, another round of grunts are to be eliminated."

"I'll work on their papers, Master." volunteered, Jupiter.

"Good. Make sure you burn them. Now that I have two commanders left, I want both of you to do your best to please me. No more failures, no more blunders! Find Team Rocket's headquarters in the Sinnoh Region and blow it up! Find the last lake guardian and steal the other. Congratulations on becoming my top two remaining commanders. You have proven your loyalty, and for that, you have my praise." appraised, Cyrus.

"Thank you, Master Cyrus. We will be leaving now to complete the task you've given us. Enjoy your day." the two commanders grinned and left their master's room. Outside, they were bursting with ecstasy and happiness after hearing those words from their master.

Meanwhile, Cyrus stared at his window. Muttering, "This is the last draw Team Rocket. I am tired of your pointless games, a headache to me. I had enough and it is time to end all of them. I assure you, Luna Evergreen, I will have the last laugh. Just you wait. Just you wait.

Morning came, the naked sun peeked out. The people rose from their beds, and a new day began. What is Cyrus and his remaining members up to this time? How does he plan to steal Uxie from us? Will he become successful in the first place? Well, only time will there the answer that is soon to come as more conflict awaits Sinnoh.

Cyrus was disappointed in the same time he was angered by the failure of not only a squadron but including an Elite Operative and a commander. Saturn is no more, Mars and Jupiter remain.
