EPISODE 103: The Announcement!*

Location: Jubilife City

Tens of thousands of people gathered in the center of the city, the Jubilife Plaza. There, reports tilted their cameras to the champion who will be making an important announcement and to have the opportunity to address the people once in for all after that sudden incident in Spear Pillar that apparently, affected the whole world. Channels and people throughout the Earth had given Cynthia, the champion of Sinnoh, their ears as they long for an explanation that shook the globe.

Not even the top eight most genuine scientists, Professor Oak, Professor Elm, Professor Birch, Professor Rowan, Professor Juniper, Professor Sycamore, and Professor Magnolia, could solve or find out the solution to the enigma, or how it all began in the first place.

Some people protested, blaming Sinnoh for the start of everything. Their waves of anger and rants, they threw it to their television, proclaiming their conference was unable to handle the threat before it affected the whole world. After all, it was only Cynthia who made an appearance. The Elites and the gym leaders? Not so much.

"Good morning, citizens of Sinnoh, and citizens throughout various regions. I am Cynthia, the head of the Sinnoh Conference, and the champion of my homeland. It is with a deep heart that I express my condolences for the loss of many, for the destruction done to our infrastructures throughout this region and the whole world.

It is our responsibility, and we take fault of the damage dealt because of the unexpected attack of a once infamous organization known as Team Galactic, an organization that operates in the Sinnoh Region; thus as one, I and the rest of Sinnoh is to blame for the cause. We could've apprehended Team Galactic, but we were too late. Their leader Cyrus is gone, nowhere to be seen, for now, to say the least. One may ask about his whereabouts, well, even I, the champion, couldn't answer that yet.

The attack, however, has proven a hypothesis long forgotten by our people, and your people. Yes, other worlds exist out there. Parallel universe, dimensions, all of them, lurking somewhere in the vast void of SPACE and it is only a matter of TIME when we would get to have the opportunity to meet our neighbors and Pokemon from another world.

Team Galactic. Twelve of their members escaped, the rest have been apprehended. Detective Looker, the chief of the Pokemon International Police, alongside his men and I, are doing our utmost best to look for the remains of the fraud organization and make sure that justice will prevail throughout the world for all eternity. For now, all we can do is to take precautionary measures.

It is with deep sincerity that I proclaim Team Galactic a red level alert. Though most have been captured, two of their commanders have the capability to make their organization rise once more. The conflict they caused, letting the Pokemon from the heavens fight is only part of their first scheme. I'm afraid, they're up to something again, something "heated" perhaps.

Again, we are truly sorry for everything we've done. And to end my speech, I hereby proclaim the continuation of the Pokemon League in Sunnyshore City. The league will take about three hours to cover up for three hundred competitors not only from our region but trainers worldwide who took part in our gym challenge.

Though some may be frustrated, more than half of the people worldwide learned to accept the apology of the champion as they sought to rebuild their broken infrastructures.
