Kanto- end

The battle between Ritchie and Ash was interesting enough. His first choice was obvious Pikachu who was able to win one match.

The second choice was Charizard who was not listening to Ash.

Then finally the last Pokemon; this choice can either push him out of the competition or to the next level.

But Ash made his choice and it was Tauros; Vidal was able to take a breath of relief after seeing Tauros out in the arena.

Then the match which seems to be reaching the pocket of Ritchie took a turn and fell on the pocket of Ash.

After winning against Ritchie, Ash entered top 8 and his opponent was Melissa.

Then he entered top 4 and met Trace (don't confuse him for another person) as his opponent.

Finally, in the finals he met Assunta.

Most of the matches of Ash were of direct victory matches; although they were allowed to use six Pokemons from top eight, Ash was using only one.

And in the final match also, Ash first choice was Tauros.

Tauros went on full rampage mode in the arena with its superior speed and horn attacks. Among the normal type Pokemons from Kanto, there is nothing that can match its speed and attack. After training with Vidal for some time, it was a beast in battles.

Most of the audiences were bored at the final match, where Ash was standing on the platform like a clueless person and Tauros was running around destroying Pokemon and arena.

The League concluded with Ash as the winner, and everyone else got a commemorative badge for participating in the league.

Vidal tried to fight the remaining from the elite four, but Mr. Goodshow insisted only winners could fight them. At last Vidal has to give up on fighting the elite four for the time being.

Pallet town, Ketchum house

A party was being held for the winning Ash; everyone was enjoying themselves; humans and Pokemons all.

And in the corner of the house, Vidal was sitting with two people in with clothes.

Bill was free enough to join the party, and with professor Oak they were staring Vidal who was having some food.

And on the food table lays a belt, which was talking with many different voices. Everyone was bombarding about the question about the Indigo League, as well as the Pokemons of Ash used during the finale.

Vidal didn't say a single word till the plate was completely cleaned from food, "Esteemed people, if you insist on asking such question, there is a chance that a child brain of mine could deteriorate and have to retire from catching Pokemons."

The belt was silent.

"As me being a reasonable person, for the continuation of the sponsorship, I have an offer."

"We are listening…"

"As a Pokemon researcher, you goal is to research on more rare Pokemons or Legendary Pokemons, am I right?" Vidal has thought of a simple plan which will help him get more funding and resources.

Both Bill and Oak nodded…

"My offer is not only Legendary Pokemons, but I will help you get more exact data on some of the 'Mythical Pokemons'. Please give some thought to it"

Dropping a bomb shell on the Professors, Vidal went for the refill.

A discussion started among the professors immediately and by the time Vidal returned the decision has already been made.

"Everyone has accepted the offer. But you should be more precise on you demands from the beginning."

Vidal nodded, "Funding is the first. Secondly, I request to get the special battle accessories form the respective region. And you can provide me then when I visit the region."

The professors didn't find the offer unreasonable and happily accepted.

"As per the request we don't have any accessories. But you will be able to obtain some berries for the Pokemon from any Pokecenter each week free of cost…" Professor Oak said.

"That's even better. Then, we can enjoy the party for now…"

Boom… boom….

The part was interrupted by loud explosion sounds and appearance of team rocket and their usual shenanigans.

Ash was already using Pokemons to tackle the team rocket.

Unfortunately, Ash had to call out Charizard, which immediately started causing havoc in the part.

"Dragonite, you teach some discipline to the Charizard. I will be right back."

Getting on the Arcanine, Vidal went towards the crash site of the team rocket.

"Alakazam get them down." Vidal with the help of Alakazam pulled the team rocket from the tree.

"It's your fan. How are you guys?"

"We… We… are fine…" the trio replied in unison.

"Did you get any information on the team shadow?"

The trio glanced at each other face, and finally Mewoth replied, "They were seen last around the Cinnabar Island… That's all we know."

'Oh… they must be looking for Articuno.' Vidal didn't stay around for too long and returned to the party.

Dragonite was thrashing Charizard on the ground, while everyone was giving her some space to not get on the way.

Every other Pokemon were standing in organized manner, not making any noise. It was a bizarre scene.

"Dragonite, that's enough for now." Only then did Dragonite left Charizard and went towards Vidal.

Vidal sneaked out of the party, 'Dragonite has caused more destruction than the Charizard.'

Leaving the party, Vidal spent his time till dusk in the Pokemon ranch.

Some peaceful days passed in pallet town and it was time to be on a next journey.

Vidal decided to tag along the trio of Ash for the time being, due to certain reason.

An errand to get a Pokeball from the Valencia Island, and Vidal was ready for the journey.

"You can meet Professor Ivy and get the ball…" Professor Oak described the situation about the GS ball.

For other it may be GS ball, a mysterious ball, but for Vidal… 'Celebi… Celebi… Celebi… Just wait a little long for me.'

And hence four people left for the Orange Island.
