CHAPTER 52 – POKÉMON THE MOVIE: HEROES LATIOS AND LATIAS (PART THREE).

With Ash.

We continued our walk through the museum while the man told us the history of the City.

"Look, this fossil belonged to a Pokémon, which along with another terrorized the City a long time ago, a memory of our past to be exact, one was an Aerodactyl and the other as you know was a Kabutops, look, there is the fossil of Aerodactyl" - said the man.

When we looked at the ground, we saw the Aerodactyl fossil in it.

"Look, come with me and i want to show you something" - said the man beginning to walk.

We slowly walked through a corridor until we came across a huge machine.

"This is called MDA's Alto Mare defense mechanism" - the man said.

*Note: I don't Know the name in english, sorry :(

"Wow, it's huge" - Koharu said.

"You see, there was once an evil trainer taught Aerodactyl and Kabutops to terrorize people, but one day, Latios came flooding the City with water and drowning the evil Pokémon, that's how the channels you see today were formed, that's the reason for the name Alto Mare, which means High Seas" – explained the man.

Seeing that we were attentive, he continued.

"Back then they built the MDA, they wanted to make sure that no one could disturb the peace again" - he continued.

But while the man was explaining to us, I saw how a girl, specifically the original Bianca, not Latias (or so I think) painted on a floor above us, I did not remember this part of the film, but I guess I forgot the less important details.

The girl made eye contact with me for a second, but then picked up her things and left.

"Is something wrong?" – the man asked when he saw that he no longer looked at him.

"No... It's just that I seemed to see something" – I denied.

"I don't see anything" - Nancy said.

The others also denied seeing anything.

Well, it's the time to go to the garden.

"Excuse me, girls, but I must do something, then I'll call you" – I said as I ran out with Pikachu beside me.

"But what's wrong with him today? It's very weird" - Verity said.

I heard that, but damn, this scene is super important, but I remember wrong, I have to chase her, so I will meet Latias who will take me directly to the garden, now I realize, why didn't I remember the scene where Bianca left and yet if I remembered this one? It's very strange, but now it doesn't matter.

To be honest, the next thing I did was chase her all over the City, now I look like a bully, but I have no choice.

I chased her through many streets until I finally managed to catch up with her.

"Hey, why did you leave so suddenly before?" – I asked.

"Excuse me? I think you're mistaking yourself for someone else, I haven't seen you in my whole life" the girl said as she continued walking.

Of course not, who I saw was Latias not her, but I have no choice but to follow her, god knows what would happen if Latias did not take me to the garden.

So I kept running alongside Pikachu with the goal of catching up with her.

What Ash didn't know or remember is that Team Rocket's drone was following him all the time.

I ran through the streets again hoping to find her.

"Even though she said she doesn't know me we need answers, don't you think Pikachu?" – I said.

"Pika pi" – nodded.

"Well, come on, let's keep looking her" – I said starting to run again.

But we couldn't reach her, at least until we saw her standing on a small bridge again.

But I knew this was Latias not Bianca, I still had to play dumb, did I mention that I hate following in Ash's footsteps? But this time I have no choice.

"Hey, I think you owe us an explanation, why did you do like the one you don't know me?" – I asked.

But Latias didn't say anything and started running, so me and Pikachu did the same.

We kept running until Latias entered the garden, since he had already entered, we decided to enter as well.

Pikachu and I passed through some hedges and arrived at another kind of street, there, the girl was waiting for us and suddenly, she crossed a wall.

"What the hell, what do we do Pikachu?" – I asked Pikachu.

"Pika pi" – but Pikachu did not hesitate for a second and also went through it.

"Great, just like in Harry Potter, well, here we go" – I said walking towards the wall.

As if the wall had never existed, I suddenly found myself in a beautiful garden, completely filled with nature.

"It's prettier in real life than in the movie" - I commented as I looked around.

Then I kept walking in hopes of finding Pikachu, at least until I saw Latias again.

Seeing me, he just smiled and ran out again.

"And here we go again" - I sighed.

Then I saw Pikachu come up to me and we set off again.

And finally we saw her sitting on a small swing swinging.

But suddenly, a huge breeze began to be felt in the air, and soon we saw how a silhouette was heading towards us at a high speed.

"Use Electroweb, don't let it move!"

Pikachu listened and threw his Electroweb to the entity he imprisoned, however, he freed himself in a few seconds from his bonds and impacted Pikachu fully.

"Pikachu!" – I said picking Pikachu from the ground.

I underestimated Latios, not for nothing is a Legendary Pokémon, I thought the Electroweb would be enough to stop his movement, but I underestimated his strength, my Pikachu is not as strong as Ash's Pikachu in the last season of the anime, but I forgot that for a moment and this was the result.

"Pika pi!" – Pikachu pointed out.

What Pikachu pointed out was the Latios which was heading back towards us at a high speed with the intention of attacking us again, but just as it was going to impact, Latias got ahead stopping his attack.

Instantly Latios materialized and began to argue with Latias, who only with her gaze could tell that she did not want Latios to attack us.

"What's going on here?" – someone said suddenly.

When I turned I saw that it was the real Bianca who didn't seem very happy to see us here.

"I don't know what you did to Latios, but I won't let you do whatever you want" - Bianca said.

"We did nothing but follow this girl, by the way, my name is Ash and this is my best friend, Pikachu, I'm a Pokémon trainer" – I introduced myself.

"I don't care who you are, since you were bothering Latios, I won't allow that, Latios, attack" - Bianca said.

Latios was already about to attack when suddenly someone intervened.

"Enough Bianca, Latios!" – said the voice.

When I looked it was actually the man in the museum, thank goodness the truth intervened, I do not remember if he also did it in the original film, I know he was but not at what time he would arrive, thank goodness it was now, I do not want to fight Latios again.

"But Grandpa..." – said Bianca.

"I've said enough is enough, you don't need to attack them, i think they're good guys" - said his grandfather.

"Well..." – said Bianca unconvinced.

"Latias, do you want to play with your new friends?" – asked Grandpa.

Latias nodded and transformed into Pokémon.

But before I could do anything, I explained my situation, that they sent us here to investigate if there was a Latios and a Latias and that if the girls could come, I want them to also enjoy this landscape.

"Sure, I guess they're the girls from before, aren't they?" – said Grandpa.

"That's right, if possible I would like them to come, I want them to be able to enjoy the scenery too" – I nodded.

"Sure, you can call them" - Grandpa nodded.

"But grandpa, we shouldn't bring people here to begin" - Bianca said.

"Bianca, these people are good, trust me" – said her grandfather.

After that, I called the girls and told them to come where I was.

It took them a while to arrive, but when they did they were amazed by the huge landscape.

"So that's why you were so weird?" - asked Nancy.

It took me a while to explain what happened, but I did.

"Yes, after all Ineeded to know what was going on here" - I nodded.

But before he could say anything, Grandpa intervened.

"Either way, enjoy your stay" – smiled the grandfather.

I will not go into detail about what happened next, but it was very good, we all started to get along great, since we had already said our goal, both did not distrust us anymore and we were able to become friends.

As for me, I played a good time with Latias who seemed to have become close friends with me, Bianca also played with us and we were able to get closer, while the girls played with Latios and chatted with the old man.

As far as I could see Latios got along exceptionally well with Verity, to the point where he let him ride him for a spin, just as I did with Latias.

It was a good experience.

"So, since when have you known each other?" – I asked a little tired.

We had paused as Grandpa wanted to teach us something.

"Grandpa has known them since they were just babies" - Bianca said.

"Yes, I've known them since their father brought them here and saved the city, but unfortunately it was too much for him" - the grandfather explained.

"That's right, he used all his power to bring the water and then... he couldn't take it and died" - Bianca said sadly.

"How pitiful..." – said Verity.

"Poor guys" - Koharu nodded.

"I can't even imagine what it's like to lose a parent" - Nancy nodded.

"In addition, here was a sphere called the jewel of the soul, which is said to contain the spirit of Latios," the grandfather explained.

*Note: The Jewel of the soul = is like Soul Dew, i don't know if it's the same but you can imagine that.

"I see... So his father died to save the whole city and left these poor Pokémon orphans"- I said sadly.

I didn't remember that, but damn how sad, he actually died to protect all the people of this City, an honorable death, but it also makes me think of something curious, why was that Latios alone? What I mean is that the Latios and Latias always go in droves, but this one was clearly alone, why was there not a Latias with him and, above all, why did he separate from his pack? These are answers we will never get.

Obviously he showed us the so-called Jewel of the Soul and finally we went back to rest, it was late and we wanted to have a nice dinner, luckily Bianca's grandfather indicated a good shortcut to the Pokémon Center that, sincerely I appreciated a lot.

"Lat" – Latias said somewhat depressed as we left.

"Don't worry, I'll come back tomorrow to play for a while, do you think?" – I said with a smile.

"Lat!" – Latias nodded very animated.

"Well Bianca, how about accompanying our heroes to the Pokémon Center? Although I told them the shortcut, they don't have a boat" - said the grandfather.

Bianca nodded and took us all to the Pokémon Center in a speedboat.

"By the way, I must warn you that there are two girls following Latias" – I said.

"Two girls?" – Bianca asked strangely.

"Yes, at first I thought it was you, but now I know it was Latias, I just wanted to warn you about it" - I nodded.

"It's weird... I'll be watching" - Bianca said.
