another day went by as Jayden prepared to get his trainer license.

Jayden shouted as he noticed the shadow of the Pidgeotto appear once again within the gust of wind.

Jayden didn't hold back, since Scorbunny was ok and ready to fight, he issued the same command.

like a wave of wind, Scorbunny shot off towards Pidgeotto immediately before it could stabilize itself in the air.

Pidgeotto had a fast reaction time, Scorbunny's double kick was suddenly countered with gust.

Jayden was sweating to come up with a plan, this was his biggest opponent yet, quite literally.

Jayden widened his eyes as he noticed Pidgeotto prepare for another move.

the wind twisted and turned before forming a connection and moving together in sync.

a large tornado with a 2.5 meter radius immediately rose up.

the grass around blew even more excessively.

Scorbunny's ears flew back within the aggressive wind, but it kept on, its eyes unwavering.

Jayden shouted, the Pidgeotto had the move twister, meaning it was at least level 22, which was crazy.

he was surprised there was a Pokemon of this level around here, it was rare to meet a Pokemon over level 15 in this small forest area, perhaps the Pidgeotto was only passing by and managed to spot him.

the large tornado was sent towards Scorbunny, as it flew from the ground it brought along large amounts of fallen leaves with it.

Scorbunny tried to evade this large attack, but its speed was slowed down due to the crazy winds.

the twisting tornado immediately engulfed Scorbunny, sharp blades of winds attacked Scorbunny before it was sent flying.

"F*CK" Jayden cursed inwardly, he immediately rushed up and caught Scorbunny before it fell on the ground, due to him sliding due to the fall, his arm was bleeding slightly.

but Jayden couldn't even feel it, he was more worried about his partner.

"Scorbunny look at me, are you ok?" Jayden asked in worry.

Scorbunny adamantly tried to open its eyes and looked at Jayden, it wanted to fight but it couldn't, it had no strength left, it couldn't even lift its arms.

Scorbunny's eyes landed on the approaching Pidgeotto, it was preparing another attack, it's eyes then looked at Jayden who was worried about it.

Scorbunny's eyes caught a glimpse of the blood on Jayden's arm, causing it to widen its eyes, it almost looked like it was about to cry.

a screen flashed before Jayden's eyes, but he couldn't react in time.

Scorbunny was engulfed in a vicious flame, but this flame didn't affect Jayden at all so he didn't move it.

its eyes turned a fiery golden red and flames shot up into the sky.

the ground underneath Scorbunny charred black and shook chaotically.

Scorbunny turned into a flash of white light, it grew larger at a rapid rate, still carrying that fiery aura that blazed through its whole being.

Scorbunny had evolved into raboot.

raboot's lower body fur was completely black, while the fur on the shoulder area was a fiery color.

Raboot stood up before staring at Pidgeotto with its foaming eyes.

it was currently in its blaze state.

"buddy, you're ready to go again?" Jayden asked raboot.

raboot nodded excitedly as it felt the strength coursing through its bones, it felt extremely powerful.

[Moves: Growl, Tackle, Ember, Quick Attack, Double Kick, Flame Charge, High-Jump-Kick]

it immediately learned two new moves.

noticing that Raboot was blazed up, Jayden went with a vicious full powered flame charge.

the flying Pidgeotto noticed something was wrong, it got prepared for another exchange.

Raboot blasted off the ground, carrying a hammer of wind with it.

Its blazing flames destroyed the grass around it as it shot towards Pidgeotto.

another explosion was heard and Pidgeotto was hit right on the head before it was sent flying, crashing into a tree and blasting through it.

Raboot calmly landed after landing that hit, it was certain that Pidgeotto hadn't survived that attack.

[Host! if you want to catch this Pokemon, do it fast, it's currently dying, after catching it it'll be in a paused state and won't die, the host will have to heal it after.]

the system's voice sounded in Jayden's mind.

his heart jumped, it was actually dying?

Jayden rushed towards the Pidgeotto and found it unconscious, it was actually even bleeding with large wounds and its feathers were charred black even.

Jayden immediately threw a PokeBall at it and caught the Pidgeotto, it was. strong Pokemon to have.

Jayden and raboot hurried towards the town, and rushed into the nearest pokemon center.

before nursery joy could finish her words Jayden pulled out pidgeotto's PokeBall.

"nurse joy save this pokemon, it's dying" Jayden said hurriedly, he felt partly guilty about it's dying state.

but then he realized, if Raboot wasn't stronger, they probably would've been the ones in danger instead.

nurse joy became worried and hurriedly placed the PokeBall into the healing device.

after waiting for a while Pidgeotto was healed.

"it took a while, but your pokemon is back to it's full health" Nurse joy said with a smile and handed back the PokeBall.

"thank you Nurse joy"

Jayden thanked her with a heavy sigh.

"Pidgeotto come out"

Jayden brought out Pidgeotto, the Pokemon center was spacious so pokemon were allowed inside, if they weren't too large of course.

Jayden pulled out some Pokemon food for Pidgeotto the moment it came out.

Pidgeotto was confused at first, but it ate the food excitedly.

it knew that it had battled Jayden and Raboot just a while ago, but it seemed to have forgotten about all the anger it had for them immediately after it was captured.
