In the end, Ash narrowly came out on top with Infernape turning on Ultra Instin-... Ahem! Blaze! Paul couldn't cope with the enraged Infernape fighting out his feelings during Blaze and lost when it came down to the 1v1 with Electivire.
Ash accepted the Trophy and Ace sent him congratulations before returning to his training, perking his ears as Ash held the trophy with Cynthia, grinning, "Thanks everyone! Thanks, Ace!"
Ace cheered and laughed as he pulled over Scream Tail, beating her with joy!
Another couple weeks flew by
Ace was looking at a folder full of papers, rubbing his temples. Taxes? He didn't know how to do taxes!
Elesa took the folder and handed Ace the Babies. Ace held Emily and Kengo, who started grabbing his face and ears. He didn't pay attention to them as Elesa put on glasses, reading the documents seriously.
Ace looked at her in a daze, oh god.

Elesa looked at him and burst out laughing, saying teasingly, "Whaaat~" Ace's cheek was ear was being pulled by the two gremlins as he said, "Sho Shexy!" Elesa giggled and took off the glasses, crossing her long legs as she bit on the part that goes on your ears, "How about now?"
Ace's eyes widened and Elesa winked at him before turning back to the documents, smiling happily. Turns out she was a genius or something, because she filled out the documents in a flash.
Literally, Ace blinked and they were done. He watched her sort out documents and write on them, underlining some things and writing some other things.
He wondered what would happen if he just threw all this shit off the table and pushed her down…
Elesa turned to him and took off the glasses, "Ahem! I fixed it." Ace came back to reality, "Huh?" Elesa shook her head, "What kind of garbage were you paying before? It's too much. Now we only have to pay half of what you were paying before."
Ace: ?????
Elesa: That's right.

As Elesa finished the Documents, there was a knock at the door. Ace got up and walked to the door with Emily and Kengo hanging off him, pulling his face in all sorts of directions.
He opened the door and blinked, "Hah…????" he looked at Brock, Lucy, Misty, May, and Dawn with confusion on his face. He cleared his throat and looked at them seriously, "The Hotel is three streets down." as he closed the door.
Misty held the door, smiling with white teeth, "Haha… Mr Ace is so funny!" but Ace's scalp was numb as he looked at her expression. Why were her eyes so scary?! May and Dawn also had scary looks!

Brock rolled his eyes and smiled, "Hey! So I decided to come after all!" Lucy bowed, "Hello, Mr Ace. I heard about you from Brock. Thank you so much!" Ace ignored Misty, May, and Dawn, looking at Lucy up and down, "You're the Frontier Brain…" he got serious, "How did you escap- Ahem! Get a vacation?"
Lucy's lips twitched and she whispered, "I just… left." Ace was dumbfounded, "What?! They always find me when I run away!" Lucy spread her hands and sighed.
Ace was not happy. Is it because he was too handsome, they had to keep tabs on him? That's it, isn't it!!
Brock coughed and smiled, "Can we come in?" Ace sighed and stopped out of the way as they all shuffled in. Elesa looked over in confusion, "Huh?" May clapped, "I knew it!" Dawn rolled her eyes, "It was obvious." May glared at her, "Oh! REALLY NOW! Who said it was Cynthia again…?"
Dawn hissed, "Shut up!"
Misty smiled at Elesa, "Hello, Mrs Elesa! How are you? We're Ash's… They're Ash's friends." Elesa looked at all the lively young people in their two person world and she pouted before pausing as she realized something.
She looked at Misty, May, and Dawn before slowly grinning. Soon an evil chuckle escaped her lips…
Brock looked over worriedly as Ace ignored it, looking at him flatly, "Why did you bring the Harem here?" Lucy's lips twitched as Brock sighed, "I didn't want to. They insisted on coming."
Ace was confused as Brock explained, "I showed Dawn the picture and mentioned that I was going to learn at the Academy… Misty came to see me when I got back and I showed her too, then she insisted on coming. After May called to ask what I was doing and I told her that I was going to Paldea with Misty and Lucy, and May flew to Kanto to tag along, then Misty called Ash, who was on his way back, staying with Rowan and Cynthia for a bit with Dawn. Then Dawn saw Misty and May, so she flew back with Ash to Kanto to fight the other two off. In the end, Ash stayed at home, getting ready to head to Unova while these three came with me here so that the others can't get any favors from you."
Ace slowly blinked at him, what did he just hear? That could've been a chapter in of itself! What a missed opportunity! That being said, he was really fucking stupified! In this roundabout way, all the Traveling companions are here!
He didn't even know what to say!
He just stared at Brock speechlessly as Brock sighed, "Refusing doesn't help… They refused my refusal.. That was the only time they all agreed on something… I'm so tired." Lucy rubbed his back gently.
Ace looked at the duo and his lips twitched, this definitely didn't help!
This kind of PDA was too stimulating!
Look! The trio back there is getting agitated!

Ace turned around and looked at ELesa dragging the three to the backyard… He had a bad feeling and before he could even think, Elesa called out, "Lucy-chan~ Come with us to take a bath. You must be tired from your long trip!" Lucy looked at Brock, who smiled at her, stroking her cheek, "Go. I'll talk with Ace."
She smiled gently and kissed him, "I love you." Brock nodded, "Me too, Bunny~" Ace cringed, oh my god! I'm gonna explode!
