Chapter 2: Pokémon Voltage Academy

It's been a day since Troy arrived at Voltage Academy. Since arriving at the academy yesterday, the transfer students had stayed at the dorms before school began.

After waking up from everything that has happened since yesterday, Troy checked his phone. Seeing the time, Troy was shocked that school would begin in an hour. Getting out of bed, Troy started to get dressed, running out of the dorms. Troy hurried to the assembly ground to not be late for presentations.

Arriving at the assembly ground at the back, Troy had seen three of the other transfer students who arrived with him as well as five more students. Hearing that the announcement was happening, Troy went to take a seat and wait for his name to be called out.

"Welcome to the world of Pokémon!" My name is Oak! People call me the Professor! This world is inhabited by Pokémon! For example, some people would have Pokémon as pets, some for battling, and me, well, I study them as a profession. Now most of you probably know me as the headmaster of the school, but for those that do not, I will say it again: My name is Professor Oak, and I will be the headmaster of the school."

Troy is sitting there waiting for the professor to call them out to introduce themselves to the students. After waiting for a few minutes, the professor finally called them out.

Soon after being called out, nine students came walking onto the stage to introduce themselves, with Professor Oak saying to the students, "Allow me to introduce nine transfer students who will be staying here for the next three years to learn about Pokémon!"

Starting from the left, each transfer student introduced themselves until Troy was the last one to come up and introduce himself: Hi, my name is Troy Nightmare, and I only have one thing to say, and that is that I'm going to be the top trainer of this Pokémon Academy, and I will challenge anyone to a Pokémon battle and win, so that's all I have to say."

Everyone hearing that started to go into a rage frenzy after hearing that "that kid got some balls to say that" "can you believe that transfer student?" "That asshole is going to get what's coming to him," "ha, it looks like this school is going to be interesting for the next 3 years."

After saying all that, Troy started to head back to the backstage. Once there, he saw the looks on the other transfer students faces, all except the one wearing the mask. One of the transfer students walked up to Troy and said, Troy, you got some balls saying all that, and I like that. The names Baker and I come from the Unova region, and I think we're going to be great friends. After talking to Baker for a bit, the ceremony seemed to end with Professor Jasper coming up and laughing his ass off. "Looks like you're really pissed off at every new student this year, Troy, and it was hilarious looking at the other professors faces."

With everything being finished today, Jasper had started to show each of the transfer students their dorm, where they will be staying for the next three years. Arriving at the entrance of a green-colored dorm, Jasper had said a couple of words. "You all might be wondering why you are each wearing three different colored uniforms. That's because there are 3 different dorm houses: one is the red house for Charmander, the second is the blue house for Squirtle, and finally the green house is the Bulbasaur. Each ranked from red being the highest to green being the lowest, showing how you did on your test scores."

Troy, after hearing that, looked at his uniform to see it was green, showing him as the lowest. Looking to see what the other transfers were wearing; he saw that none of them were part of the green except the kid in the mask.

Jasper showed them their dorm, gave them a key, and told them they could stay here while he took the other transfers to their dorm buildings.

After Troy and the kid in the mask had gone to their room numbers, seeing as they were next to each other, just as Troy was about to go into his room, he heard his name: "Hey Troy, I didn't know you would be a part of the Green Dorms." Troy, turning around to see Baker, replied, "Hey Baker, I wasn't expecting to see you here as well." After talking to Baker again for a few minutes, Troy went into his new room for the next three years.
