Not to mention, in their time together, Dira had somehow started speaking fluently again.
"Woo~" Dira shook her head with a smile.

"Alright then," Hikaru relented, though the situation still puzzled him.

He released Charmeleon from its Poké Ball and pulled out the crystalline Dragon Relic he had received.

Charmeleon's eyes lit up the moment it sensed the relic in Hikaru's hand. It practically drooled over the potent energy radiating from it.
"This is for you," Hikaru said, handing over the relic.
Charmeleon grabbed it eagerly, its claws trembling with excitement. Hikaru guided it into the training room, setting strict limits on its exposure to the relic.
The relic's energy was far too potent for prolonged use. However, even with limited exposure over the past few days, Charmeleon's Dragon Claw had improved significantly, and it had even learned two new Dragon-type moves: Dragon Dance and Outrage.
Not only that, but Charmeleon's level had climbed to 35, solidifying its place as the second-strongest Pokémon in Hikaru's party, just behind Gardevoir.
Charmeleon was now on the cusp of evolving, and the balance of Dragon and Fire energies in its body was proving incredibly beneficial.
