Sweet Revenge (Part 1)

Kyoko saw Calvin's expression change. He was pondering in thought then he frowned.

Calvin finally spoke after a full analysis.

"Is this your only Pokémon?" Calvin asked.

"I haven't actually caught any other Pokémon since I came to Hoenn yesterday and challenged the Gym leader yesterday coming out successfully." Kyoko said.

"I know you used Agility and Spark in that battle. More like Agility continuously to increase the Speed and Evasiveness of Shinx while attacking with Spark." Calvin said.

"Did you watch our battle yesterday?" Kyoko asked curiously.

"No. I just thought about it but it seems that I got it right, A brownie point for me, right?" Calvin asked eagerly.

"If we were to measure it in Brownie points, You would be in -50." Kyoko replied countering Calvin's previous question. Calvin didn't even budge, His expression didn't change.

"Well, anyway. I'm going to go and train. Will you accompany me, Fair lady?" Calvin asked.

"No. I'll do my training on my own." Kyoko said with a grin. Calvin didn't even flinch as she was rejecting all of his advances.

Silver came running in.

"Hey, Calvin." Silver said, "Sorry about what happened with..."

Calvin shushed her by putting his palm over her mouth and changing the subject.

"Silver, This is Kyoko. A friend of mine and she wants to accompany us on our Journey." Calvin said.

"Alright. Calvin, aren't you supposed to be...well you know what I'm talking about." Silver said.

"Not even in the least, I think I have found a New approach." Calvin said widening his arms and raising them up. Silver laughed and placed her hand on his shoulder.

"We better begin training or We might never Leave Petalburg city." Silver said, "Oh, I forgot to tell you something. I'd like you to open up your Pokédex."

Calvin opened his Pokédex and Silver took it from him and opened a tab.

"This is your trainer account. This is where trainers receive the Prize money after battle although that Bug catcher you battled didn't have a Pokédex, That's why he paid you in cash. Gym leader Max and your Mom said I should show you." Silver explained.

Calvin looked at his Bank balance.

Pokédollars-13,000.

"Why in hell are there 13,000 Pokédollars in my Bank account?" Calvin asked.

"Well for the fact that you beat Max, That was the prize money." Silver replied, "Also the trainers that Prof. Birch sponsored have their Poképage where the Pokémon League can evaluate them for reference." Silver said.

Calvin rubbed his hair back.

"So many things I didn't know about but I am really packed up so...Girls, Let's head to the Pokémon Mart to stock up Items." Calvin said. He and the girls went to the Pokémon Mart.

"Wow, It has many more items in it's arsenal than the mart of Oldale town which only had potions." Calvin noticed.

The Shop Keeper turned to him with an excited look on his face.

"You are that famous Rookie trainer that fought Head on against a Team Constellation Admin and held your ground. This is a gift from me." The shop keeper said and gave him a Box. A Box containing over 50 Pokéballs.

"Wow, Thanks mister." Calvin said. He had a Pokémon he wanted to add to his team of Elites now that he had the Pokéballs.

Calvin sold the stock of the remaining 50 potions of the potions he had bought before and bought 20 super potions. They left the Pokémon mart after the Girls had and bought their own different shirts.

Calvin hadn't even needed to use his money, He had what he was using money to do. Something that he would implement in the later Months of his Pokémon training career.

"I want to go back to Route 2, I have some uncompleted business there." Calvin said, momentarily shocking the two girls but Silver quickly began chuckling.

"You want to take on that Gyrados, right?" Silver asked.

"Yes and this time I will win but its not like I lost to it before." Calvin said.

"Wait, Silver. What happened?" Kyoko asked.

"When Calvin caught Feebas, He swam underwater and saw a Gyrados. A Gyrados that took his trouser that he claims to be expensive." Silver explained.

Kyoko and Silver couldn't help but laugh at the funny situation. Before they looked again, They saw Calvin running towards the Path of Route 2.

"Wait up, Idiot." Silver said and they ran after Calvin.

Once again, Calvin and the girls were in front of the lake where he caught Feebas.

"I wanted to wait until I had an Edge against this guy but this is good." Calvin said.

Calvin dove into the lake with a rock.

"Such a reckless move." Kyoko said.

"You don't know Calvin, He is really silly most of the time but the time that he got serious was when...Shit." She said and stopped.

"Was when?" Kyoko asked her new friend.

Calvin was going to kill her if she told Kyoko about Sylvia. She didn't know how to keep her big mouth shut. Suddenly, the ground started shaking.

The girls ran back instinctively and Calvin jumped out of the water with Gyrados behind him. Calvin saw that Gyrados was jumping out like he did and if he didn't do something, He would be at the mercy of the Gyrados.

He grasped Feebas's Pokéball and it opened up, bringing out Feebas but placing it in his arms. It was like Everywhere was in Slow motion.

"What is a Feebas going to do against a Gyrados?" Kyoko said in disbelief.

"Believe me, When Calvin does something, It usually works." Silver said.

"Aim Ice beam at the water!" Calvin ordered. Feebas opened its mouth and out came a Beam of ice which froze the lake and half of Gyrados's long body in the process as it had not completely left the Water.

Calvin landed on the ground on his feet while Gyrados was stuck in the ice. Kyoko was wide-eyed.

"Seriously. How did he manage to get the idea to trap a Gyrados with a fucking Feebas?" Kyoko asked.

"I think some questions are left without answers besides the battle is not done." Silver said with a shrug.

Gyrados felt the icy cold aura surrounding it from the ice it was stuck in and tried to get away but its efforts was useless as Feebas was constantly using Ice beam to strengthen the Ice.

Gyrados roared. A roar sounding throughout Route 2 causing almost all rookie trainers on that route to run and hide.
