At the top of the summit

It was strange, confusing, and mystifying

The more I walked towards my goal

The less people I saw

The walk was long and tough

Day turned into night

Yet it seemed like I wasn't getting any closer

I was filled with hunger

Like a monster wanting to devour what's in front of it

I was too close to stop now

Guided by the North Star under the night sky, I wander alone

Forgetting about the regrets and laughing with the stars

my heart is full

As the stars align and drew me a picture

Guiding me and leading me

No gold or diamond could replace those shimmering lights

For they had been with me always when I was lost and alone
