  Everything does,

  From the looks to the words,

  I just feel so broken.

It hurts,

  To feel betrayed,

  They were supposed to love me,

  But just left instead.

  While I write these words,

  On a piece of paper,

   Just wishing that people weren't this heartless.

  That I have to suffer,

  I've been doing it for 16 years,

  Don't think I'll last any longer.

  That nobody knows,

  That the smile I wear is fake,

  Just like all the love I get.

It hurts,

  That I will never be happy,

  Truly that is,

  Been picking up the pieces for years.

It hurts,

  That I'll never smile,

  Talk or laugh the same,

  I'll never be myself fully again.
