Zali, the man of wisdom

Sheyken was by the very same ally way that they had found Esiyana the day they met in. He was holding his third leg and had a tear wanting to come down his cheek as he was raving in pain on the ground. As he had watched Salina dance and coming closer to him, he did not notice that his mature mind was influencing his young body. He, at that moment could not control his body's reaction to his thoughts as Salina gestured him to dance with her and the thought of being close to her after such a show excited him.

He stood up but instinctively knew he was in trouble. He looked down to his pants and the guy who lived between his legs was standing up right, saluting at him. He turned around and ran for his life as he could not bear the thought of Falgur finding out he could not control his libido because if he did, he was going to be mocked and made to remember that day by Falgur for the rest of their lives.

After he reached a place where there was no one around in, he stopped and at that moment felt so embarrassed. He looked down at his pants again and the little guy down there was still saluting at him with vigor. He cursed Apophis for no reason then punched his nether region frustrated with it all. For any man either young or old, they would have castrated him for showing such disrespect to something so sacred and having the balls to punch it. His eyes turned white as he almost fainted since he did not hold back when punching.

He fell to the ground with his mind blank and having the title of dumbest man in the universe. His waist gave up on him as the pain trickled around it and then all over his body. All he could do was hold his jewels and try not to cry.

'Why, why, why!? Why am I even drawn to her that match? She just treats me like a child.'

He thought as he crawled on the ground like a worm going in no particular direction."

'I hate this body. I do not know why I am even so much into girls now and not concentrating on getting stronger like I was back on Earth. Did Zararloch's story of dying a virgin change my look on the world. Either way, I should stay away from her toxic perfection. She will think less of me if I keep trying to woo her since she just thinks I am a kid.'

Sheyken tried to get up by using the wall. He moved slowly so as to bring his body's rejection of his action earlier towards such a precious part to forgive him and allow him to take over it again. The pain was not going away though as it reminded him of the idiot he was for his actions. He walked in no particular direction until he found himself not far from the Teleportation station.

"Hey, young legend!"

A young-looking man sitting on the steps leading to the station called out to him. He looked around to make sure the big guy who would sometimes stand in for Alati was nowhere to be found. He, just like the other old man with grey eyes had some kind of presence around them that made you feel uneasy. He walked to the young man who was holding a bottle of wine in his hand.

"Hi, how are you doing sir."

He said trying to act respectfully.

"Awe, look at the young legend who is also an Honorary guild member treating me like I am someone special. Just act natural around me."

The man said as he gestured him to sit next to him.

"I see Saduralto did not tell you what it means to have those titles."

The man said as he took a sip of his wine.

"What do you mean."

The man looked at Sheyken questionably.

"Mmmm... Nop, if she did not want to tell you, then I should not. She must not want you to act all high and mighty."

Sheyken got annoyed at the young man since if he was not going to tell him anything, he did not know why he brought it up. After getting a proper look at the young man, he was surprised to see that it was the same one that had fainted at the guild when he brought out the Vatagroes.

The young man wore the same kind of hunter's outfit that they had bought the day they went out hunting. This one was grayish-white with the jacket he was wearing being white. He looked like a seasoned close fighter with his skin rough and his hands looking like that of a physical working man.

"So, why are you here alone and where is the scary big guy?"

"Awe yeah, right.... you are new to the town. You must not know this but a Teleportation station is the most important structure in the town. It is so expensive to construct that even if everyone gave his or her wealth in this town, it will still not be enough to cover the cost of building one."

Sheyken was not surprised at his words, but thought of how much money the Nixeor household must had have to have one in their house if it was that expensive.

"Since there have been incidents of Initiates being turned and being left to their own devices to find a way to survive, not knowing who is doing it and why, Algazuma was put in charge of guarding it. He is the big scary guy you mentioned. I just keep watch when he is off duty or filling in for Alati in the guild since he is the only one either than her who knows the ins and out of the world of adventurers and the guild. He is also the one who taught her the tricks of the trade."

The young man stopped for a second then looked by Alati's house which was not that far from where they were.

"You can also say he is a father figure to her since he raised her after she was orphaned."

Sheyken nodded his head in understanding.

"I am Zali by the way. No need to introduce yourself young legend as everyone already knows who you are."

Sheyken just smiled. Zali happened to look by Alati's place again and saw a woman he could not make out since it was far from where they where but noticed that she was so beautiful such that he stopped breathing when looking at her knocking and going into her house.

"Who, who.... who is that?"

He said trying to breathe again. Sheyken quickly felt the pain from his crown jewels picking up again after noticing who it was and regretted punching them.

"It is Salina. I guess you wouldn't know but she was dancing some kind of dance today."

Sheyken said as he looked at Alati's house and saw her leave alone after a minute of searching the place.

"Looks like she is searching for Alati."

Zali said after seeing her disappear in the direction of the Mystic.

"Hahahaha.... man, you are a legend on many fronts hah. Even making moves to the princess of Senjira while still young."

Sheyken felt embarrassed and it showed on his face. Zali saw this and took a large gulp of his wine as he was about to preach to a young legend.

"Do not worry about the age. You do remember that mages live for hundreds of years depending on which tier of power they manage to reach right? She is already a step away from being on the second circle of power. So, she will live for well over 100 years and she will still be looking that beautiful. Age means nothing in the magical world. She of course will see you as a child until the day you come of age but I am sure she will still be waiting for someone who can handle her nature."

Sheyken did not know where that wisdom was coming from but he welcomed the man-to-boy talk.

"Trust me, I do not think anyone can handle her or that she wants to be. She is focused on her cultivation and mastering of her spells like every mage. It takes a lot to steal a mages heart. So, you just focus on yourself and growing strong."

Sheyken said no words as in this passing of wisdom talk, there where non needed from him. He just nodded.

"You do know what women of Uros altimetry want from a man they would give their life to right?"

Sheyken shook his head.

"A man that can protect them. That does not mean they want a powerful mean. There is a difference. You can be powerful and destroy every enemy that comes for you but can still not protect. Do you get what I am saying?"

This talk right now was what some call 'The wisdom of the drink'. Zali was at that point tipsy and in most cases that was when a drinking man had the most wisdom when sitting and talking to someone younger than them. Sheyken knew what was going on, but he had no idea a young man who faints by just seeing dead Vatagroes could possess such wisdom. He nodded in response.

"If you work on yourself, you should not worry. You will find her waiting and working on herself. Maybe at that point, she would be ready to perform the Seducrere dance for only you."

'So, the dance has a name. It must be a part of their tradition then.'

Sheyken thought. They both looked at Alati's house again and then Zali sighed.

"I have known them ever since they were young. Watching them grow. The bad thing about that is that they end up treating you as a brother to them. They have been best friends even when Salina went to the capital to study and when she came back you could not separate them. Every free time they got they spent it together."

Zali sighed again.

"I have always liked Alati, but unfortunately she will always see me as a brother."

Sheyken was starting to feel sorry for the guy.

"I recently heard that that idiot Lariote had been making moves on her. Hahaha, he is an Idiot, I know her, she can never fall for a drinking playboy like him."

Sheyken was now really feeling sorry for the guy as he said those words in self petty like he was denying something that he knew could happen. He could see that he was getting drunk and he wondered why he would drink if he was on guard.

At that moment the sky lit up and the colorful image of a dragon, demon, vengeful spirit, and a tree filled the sky then started to explode into colorful sparkles.

"Guild master"

Zali exclaimed. Sheyken who was still in awe of the spectacle stopped looking up to the sky and looked at Zali.

"Come to think of it, we have not officially met him yet. Who is he?"

He asked, but as soon as Zali was about to open his mouth, an explosion sounded from the opposite side of where they were facing. It was muffled by the image still exploding in the sky but when they looked in the direction of the explosion they heard, they saw a tornado rising up from a house on the outskirts of town swallowing the buildings around them up as it raised to the sky.

His heart was beating fast but was perplexed after seeing the tornado disappear instantly like it was never there and the houses it had swallowed up not damaged except for the one that the tornado had manifested from. Its roof was tone completely off.

"Master Seduralto."

Zali said as he looked on in the same direction Sheyken was looking. It seemed to Sheyken that Zali had recognized something from what just happened.
