Alati said as the others dragged the two adventurers who were now conscious but in worlds of pain. They could not speak and the one with scars on his face could only cry as he could not move any part of his body.

Sheyken and the others had gone past the door and were now going down steps that went on for a while. He failed to calculate how deep they were at that point. They came into a hall that looked like the one that Zararloch and him used for training but this one was huge.

It had one single rune of the floor that almost covered the whole floor space and the walls looked roughed up but steady. At some part of the hall, there were weapons in all kinds of shapes and sizes as the room just screamed out 'training room'. There was still a flight of steps going down and Seduralto did not hesitate to take them. They followed as Falgur secretly wished he had spent his underground years in a room as big as that.

After another long walk down the steps, they came to a room that had runes everywhere almost like in Ningal's basement. At the other side of the room were a laboratory and all kinds of scrolls and tools. There were also dead beasts on a large table that the boys could not tell what they were.

"After you asked me for a big room right after your questions of if we craft weapons and armor here, I assumed you have a beast you want to make that armor or weapon out off."

Sheyken liked her intuition.

"Even if I may think you have something that could not be more than a first-tier beast, you should not worry. This room was created by the founder of this town. It can prevent the mana signature of any beast lower than 5th tier from leaking out of the room. You two do not stop surprising me, so I had resolved to treat you like the honorary guild members you are. So, go ahead, surprise us."

Selduralto had a feeling that the kid in front of her held more secrets than she would think of or guessed. In just one day she had switched from host to trying to befriend two kids. She did this with the hope of them to put her hometown next to their hearts before they left since she had a hunch they would surpass her in no time. Salina was starting to see what she was trying to do.

The lab was also big as it looked like whoever built the place was dealing with something large as the ceiling was twice as high as the first hall they passed. After noticing that were the steps continued down, some form of energy was making his skin feel tingly with it having no problem passing through his defensive field he was reminded that he still knew nothing. The feeling of someone passing through his defensive field like it was not there was still vivid in his mind too.

He stepped aside to give himself some room and out of Ruby came out a bird as big as a fighter jet. Salina could not help but have her mouth open in awe with the face mask concealing her awkward surprised look. Seduralto just started laughing unable to come up with something to say or do. Her head was in chaos for a moment.

"A Storm bringer"

She said as she laughed. The two boys caught the words but just looked at the two who's shocking actions showed that they had hit the jackpot.

"I never thought I would see a bringer of disasters dead and in front of me."

She finally stopped laughing and spoke.

"Not only that, but two kids just causally pulled it out like it was nothing to them. Do you two even know what that is?"

Sheyken and Falgur shook their heads making Seduralto sigh in resignation.

"Even when I am expecting a surprise, you still surprise me."

She said as she went in front of them to take a closer look at the bird.

"It is one of the reasons flying over the Trial Forest is suicide. It has the power to bring extreme lighting storms that produce black-lighting. Being hit by one is like being hit by two powerful attacks which are curse energy and lighting. So, we call the storms cursed lighting. It also can summon strong winds with some able to bring about tornados on a whim. Not only that, but with its feathers, it can produce all kinds of lighting attacks and with its wings can also produce wind attacks making fighting it up close extremely dangerous as fighting it from a distance is also suicidal... It has two of the elements that do not go with each other as wind is the nemesis of lightning but it can make them work and produce 100 percent of each in its attacks without the wind attacks reducing the lightning's power. Not to mention its powerful claws and beak that can rip through almost anything. Now that I'm talking about its abilities, I find it unbelievable that two boys just brought it in front of me. Are you sure it is dead because the whole town could be erased from the face of this world? I think this one is 4th tier."

She knew it was dead but her talking about its abilities made her skin crawl. She had to ask even when she knew since only dead beasts can be put in a storage item even though she still did not know how Sheyken was doing his magic without a storage ring.

Falgur just calmly walked to it and when he was close enough, he jumped onto its feathers to hug it.

"Brother!!!! I think we have just found my Base core!!!"

He said with happiness in his voice. Sheyken just smiled and was secretly wishing the core he pulled out of the tree had something similar in its abilities or Falgur would be laughing on his face. At that point everyone in the room knew it was a give in that Falgur would use it as his Base core as it it was a match made in heaven.

Hearing what Falgur just said Salina slumped on the floor in dejection. Knowing that Falgur was surely going to use its core as his Base core, him reaching the heights of Beast warriors was nothing but assured for him. His luck brought back bad memories for her.

'I gave up being a Beast warrior and became a mage because I could not find a suitable Base core. Seeing this is just.....'

She lamented but only to have herself pulled up from the floor by Seduralto.

"Do not ridicule yourself. His fortune has nothing to do with you. You also know you can still be the best mage you can be. You should be happy you got to meet such kids as I think we are witnessing the begging of something the world will be talking about for ages. A kid with a Blessing of lighting having a core of a 4th tier Tempesta-aves. Let us do everything we can to help them, ok. I have a feeling that by helping them, we would be helping ourselves. "

Salina was about to cry but those words stopped her. She now thought that if Falgur would have such power, then what kind of power Sheyken would wield? Seduralto was now thinking the same thing.

"How was it killed, because even though you full of surprises, you killing such a beast would just mean the end of the world is near."

Sheyken just laughed slightly. They went to the other side of the beast and he showed them the neck that still had black veins and black blood coming out if it. The two women looked closer and Seduralto quickly found what had killed it.

"A curse."

She said as she quickly moved away from the blood. Sheyken interest was peaked.

"A curse?"

Salina asked.

"Yes. I have seen such before. Black mages used it but could only use it up to its second-tier spell as all who tried to use it above that tier cursed themselves."

Sheyken and Salina moved further from the blood.

"It uses your power to fuel itself as it eats away your life energy. The only way to overpower and get rid of it is to overcharge your mana circuit fast then it can steal it and by doing so obliterate it. This is why you can only use it on the same tier opponent and lower, unless that person does not know about it."

"We could feel the lighting from it from miles and miles away. So, that explains why. It was trying to overload it's mana circuit and we could approach it because the curse was stealing the mana it discharged."

Falgur said as he joined them.

"Which means that that is a 5th tier curse."

Seduralto said. Sheyken thought about a particular female existence that Falgur liked to tease him about it being his girlfriend, but he just found it too farfetched to have been her. He even cursed at the idea because that would mean they had her to thank for the opportunity to have such a creature.

"So, what would you like us to do with it?"

Seduralto finally asked.

"Can you process it?"

"I can. The skin is as hard as perfect steal but I have something that can cut through it. I can finish in two days. I can also harvest the curse from the infected tissue. I think its tier dropped from 5th to 4th but it can be used. I have never seen one that lingers like this. I think the curse was in its purest form."

She said as she seemed to be also thinking.

"Well, everything in or on this beast is valuable. The feathers alone would fetch a handsome price."

She continued.

"Can you give us the core and some of the meat when you have finished processing it? I want to have them make a weapon and armor with everything else."

"Everything?"

The two ladies asked in surprise.

"Yes, everything. Is it possible?"

"Well, it is. That means they would be able to make a unique weapon and armor one level behind legendary. What will you pay with if you use all of it? You will also have to pay the person who will deliver it for you."

"How much do you think it will cost?"

Saduralto thought for a bit.

"Around 2000 to 2500 mana crystals and since it will have to be able to fit him now and throughout his growth, you can add 500 to that sum. Imprinting the spell will take a significant amount of skill for such armor."

Sheyken almost cried and a tear went down Falgurs face as he thought all his hopes for a unique weapon and armor were gone. They did not know the value of a mana crystal yet, but knew that what she just said was way too much.
