A wolf in sheep's clothing

Sheyken did not know how a boy who spent all his life underground would have such a heart and understanding. His actions were not of a seven-year-old, but he remembered that Vitula had told him that he was no ordinary kid.

The girl stopped crying and looked at Falgur.

"Thank you."

She said in a soft voice. Falgur smiled and also looked at her.

"The is no need to. It is just what a man should do."

'Falgur you're not a man but a child, stop trying to act cool.'

Sheyken thought.

"Do you mind telling us why you are sleeping here all alone?"

Falgur asked but the girl was hesitant to tell him.

"As I said, we are Finis, and we are new in this town, but even though we are passing through, we would be happy to help you. If you do not trust anyone from here, you can trust us."

Falgur said as he looked down like he was in pain for her not to trust him. His voice changed like he was about to cry.

"You see, helping you would bring honor to my family, so even if we cannot help, we can listen. At least by doing that you can lessen the burden you carry."

Sheyken wanted to give him an F for acting and a clap for speaking out of his arse. Talking about honor when he was just trying to make a girl talk was a discrese to manhood. He thought there was no way a girl would fall for that.

"Ok, I will tell you."

The girl said, now with some energy to speak. Sheyken was speechless. He looked up in the sky and cursed.

"My father was a Beast warrior."

As soon as they heard that they were all ears.

"A month ago, he disappeared challenging the Trail Forest as he had always done. He had been hunting regularly and coming out unscathed. The money he saved up he used to refurbish our house and so we can have a good life."

Sheyken thought she would continue about how her father was a Beast warrior but refrained from the thoughts.

"the day he went to hunt, he never came back and if you do not come back for that long while you were in the Trial Forest the guild then officially declared you dead."

Falgur and Sheyken found it interesting because that would mean that some people can last that long in there. Well, Ningal did believe Sheyken's father was in the Trial Forest and that he was still alive before he told her the truth.

"Two days ago, some known bandits that are also Initiates came to our house and took the mana tools that we used to build our house and assist us in our daily lives in the house. They also took the mana stones that made them work and then burnt the house. They took my mother saying that she would be their woman from then on."

Falgur looked up to the morning sky and let out a breath of anger.

"What is this world I was born in?"

He asks himself. Sheyken had already told himself he was in an unforgiving world that stepped on the weak and that would step on him unless he had power.

"Why does no one help?"

Falgur asked even though he knew the girl was hurting.

"They are scared to become involved and others just want to carry on with their lives and act as like nothing happened. We were like that too."

The girl said as she started sobbing. They had to wait for her to gather herself again.

"The guild would help if I put up a request, but I do not have anything for payment."

Falgur looked at Sheyken and it was like they could understand each other and what the next move should be.

"Well, it is your lucky day. We are under the guild for now. So, you can say we are part of it. Consider your request accepted."

The girl was taken aback. She looked at the two who seemed to be no younger than her. Falgur saw her concern.

"I told you, didn't I? We are Finis, and you know what they say about us."

The girl was not touched as she thought they just wanted to hear her story to just mock her, but after seeing Falgurs handsome face and smile, she folded. She only had one concern.

"But I do not have anything to pay you with."

She said in a concerned tone. Falgur stood up and let out his hand to her.

"My lady, your tears were payment enough."

The girl almost cried again but Sheyken was impressed. He just hoped they were not jumping to their deaths since they still did not know the full strength of an Initiate yet. The girl took Falgur's hand and stood up.

All you have to do is show us where they took your mother and leave the rest to us.

The girl became afraid.

"What will you do?"

She asked still holding Falgur's hand.

"You see, my brother's face may look ugly, but he is a polite speaker. We will just ask them politely to let your mother go and I am sure they will give her to us."

"Really?"

The girl looked at Sheyken's face who was fuming again with his face turning red. He was telling himself that he would surely kick Falgur's arse now.

"You just point us to where they are and live it to my brother and me."

The girl walked closer to Falgur from then on and never let his hand go while looking at his face every now and then. Sheyken could not wait to blow off some steam. No matter who they were going to find, in his eyes they were already dead.

They walked for about an hour and after seeing some sites that were naturally beautiful with a fountain being one of them, they finally arrived in a place that had green grass growing which was well maintained and on it were some tents with some as big as a house.

They stood by a hill and Esiyana pointed which tent they had taken her mother in. She had told them her name during their walk and said that she had followed the man that took her mother. The Tent was guarded by two guards while the rest were not and it was in the middle. No one else seem to be outside as the place was quiet as it was still the early hours of the morning.

They told Esiyana to stay hidden and not reveal herself. She was reluctant to let Falgurs hand go but had no choice. She fully agreed with keeping herself out of sight and after a look at each other, they left her. Sheyken did not take his jacket from her as by doing so he thought it would make her feel insecure. He just hoped he would not have trouble getting it back as he was sure the girl had fallen for Falgur.

They calmly walked to where the guards were. Seeing two kids approach them they let their guard down. They stepped in front of them and looked up so to see their faces.

"Hey kids, this is not a place you can play in, so get lost."

One of the guards said. They both were scrawny looking but looked like they were in good health and took care of themselves. They smelled good which was a first for the two kids. They did not expect guards to look after themselves that much and they were the first people they ever smelled perfume on.

The other guard moved from his position to try and shoo them off. He went after Falgur with his hand trying to push him away but his hand was grabbed by Falgur first and then literally got the shock of his life. He dropped on the floor passed out and the other guard who was now sizing up Sheyken as even without the jacket, Shadow on him still made him look cool and expensive. Not failing to look like magic armor.

He felt a hand between his legs. He looked down and saw Falgur holding his crown jewels as he had dashed over to him when he had finished with the other guard. The guard's eyes widened and not knowing what to expect with his most prized possessions in a kid's hands he froze. He passed out with just a little spark of lightning Falgur let out. Sheyken everted his eyes from the scene as that was just merciless.

He had to admit that even though he wanted to go all out on them, Falgur's method was stealthy. He would have had to kill them in order to get the same results as knocking them out would have proven troublesome.

They went in and as soon as they went in, the temperature inside the tent reminded them of the Mystic. It was being controlled like there was an air conditioner inside. The floor had bricks that were immaculately clean with no sand or dust. It was something unexpected for a place surrounded by a dessert. They passed some small pillars that had some writing on them that glowed in blue and looked like some kind of magic device.

They quickly passed through the tent's passageway and went into the main area and wherein shook at what they saw. Falgur took the dagger from his thigh that Sheyken had given him and Sheyken took out Plot Armor.

The area was circular with a bed in the middle and a bath which was a distance away from it. They had pulled out their weapons because the place had at least 13 women changed onto the floor. They all looked like they had given up hope and surrendered themselves to their captives. The bed had a dead woman on it and had blood all over it. The bath had in it what the two thought was blood as two women had their throats cut and were lying next to it dead.

'What the hell did we just step into?'

Sheyken asked himself.

At the other side of the room, there was a curtain raised to what looked like a make-shift shower. The curtain had some bloodstains on it like someone had been washing blood off of their body. A hand of a woman reached out to take a nightgown as the shower head stopped running.

Out stepped a beautiful young woman that would be 8 points to a perfect 10 of Ningal's if not for the unnatural scene in front of Sheyken. She had brown long hair with a neck for days that went well with her slim body. Her eyes were the most captivating part of her as they were grey like that of a wolf. She had legs that were destined for the runway and her skin was as delicate as a newborn baby's. Each time she blinked was like a gesture of her sexuality as it appeared to be in slow motion when the boys saw her for the first time.

Sheyken instantly was disgusted after gathering himself as he could just tell after a better look at her that her beauty was a spit on the face to those who were just naturally beautiful. He had the one and only angel in his heart to thank for such an assessment with a sexy woman in front of him.

Falgur gulped but was disgusted with himself. He just could not control himself as she was the only other woman he had ever seen and came close to Ningal was standing in front of him and wearing nothing but a nightgown. The scene just did not call for his crazy thoughts and he knew it as that was not a woman he was looking at, but a wolf in sheep's clothing.
