"Zararloch, this might be the most dangerous experiment I have ever done. I have not tested any of this and to tell you the truth, even my theory is not sound. You might lose your powers or even die."
"Master, I am made to server you. Do as your please with my body."
Zararloch who was kneeling down in Arloch's laboratory said those words without betting an eye.
'I might have all the time in the world, but that boy has changed everything. With Tenebris only obsessed with him, I need to find a way to increase Zararloch's power. An undead can never increase its level but can supplement its current power by many ways. I can only hope this experiment gives positive results. It is great that I have a loyal follower like him. Let me hope this will be a form of a reward for him for showing such devotion.'
Alorch thought as she looked at the oil.
"You must tell Tenebris that when the sun has set, we will be performing another sacrificial ritual. We will use 180 out of the 223 we have left."
Zararloch nodded his head and left. Outside the sun was about to set when he appeared with an annoyed face. He would have preferred to never talk to Tenebris for the rest of his undead life if he had too. Anything she said just annoyed him. He walked to where her and Fusobacter where while keeping to the shade.
"Awe, isn't this a surprise. You heard that I am rocking my sexy beach outfit today and you have come to give life back to your eyes by showing them beauty than obsessing over dusty bones."
Her words already made him regret not asking the others to assist him with his tusk that his master had gave him. It was the only one he would ever consider to ask someone to help him with.
"Too bad, if I was not already taken, I would allow you to look at me more as a form of charity to your deprived mind that only thinks of bones."
Fusobacter just wished he was not there at that point. He just kept quiet and looked at Zararloch's changing face that which if it had blood running in it, it would be surely red at that point. Zararloch tried to keep his cool and managed to tell her what he was there to tell her and quickly left.
"Mmmm, what is she up too? It is too hasty for her to be trying something like this without even testing it out on other subjects. Does she not want to waist the oil or is it something else?"
Tenebris asked herself as she grow suspicious of her master. Light was replaced by the dark as the sun gave way to the moon. This spelled the start of the same ritual she had performed when summoning Onine but this time with 180 Initiates who were the villagers.
They were all outside in the valley and carrying black daggers that looked like Sicapugis. Standing in a circle with Tenebris in the center, she wasted no time and asked them the same question she had asked Sisun and Susin.
"Do you wish to give up your life for me and in exchange, with your own will and power shall seek that is beyond your death?"
"I do."
The villagers all answered in unison.
"Then the deal is struck."
Tenebris replied with different words than the last time which were similar but their meanings different. Just like what happened last time, as soon as she said those words the black dot in their foreheads disappeared into them and thereafter their eyes became black and demonic. Tenebris then melted into the ground. It became as black as she was on a 200 meters radius this time around because there were too many people in the center which were the 180. It still consisted of 9 circular rings that also had runes and text written in black with black smoke living them.
This time around the rings did not move. The villagers all kneeled down after cutting the palm of their hands. They touched the formation and as soon as they did, they all dropped on the ground and laid still like they had fainted but with the blood still leaving their bodies slowly through the cut they had made.
Zararloch then walked through the field and went to were Tenebris was standing earlier. He kneeled like he would when kneeling to Arloch. As he did, Arloch appeared above him floating and in her hand was all of the oil Sheyken had given her. She poured it all on Zararloch and then disappeared again to where the others where, which was where they were standing the last time they did the ritual.
Different than last time, the blood started collecting at the center where Zararloch was kneeling as it mixed with the oil. At this point it was leaving their bodies fast but slower than the last time with Sisun and Susin . With each one of them dyeing because of blood loss, as soon as they were dead but still with blood in their bodies, they disappeared into the darkness which was the ground.
After the last villagers had disappeared, the ring that was in the center and which all the blood and oil was being collected at, and which had Zararloch kneeling on top of started spinning. After some seconds the second one followed, then the third, followed by the fourth and lastly the fifth one. They were all spinning in opposite directions of each other.
The rings started pulsing and the runes and texts started to glow red. The blood around Zararloch started bubbling and formed waves that started crashing into his body making him all red. The 5 rings then stopped at the same time. A portal that looked to be the gates of hell appeared as the 5 rings faded away and with all of the blood falling in it like a waterfall together with Zararloch. The 4 rings that where stationary started to spin like the 5 were and pulsating in a rhythm.
The portal then closed living the space it had occupied like it was an empty void. The other rings than stopped moving and faded away, leaving only the void in the center.
"Sanguis, do you remember this type of ritual before?"
Violentiam asked while looking at the void.
"No, it is the first time I have seen this sequence of events."
Sanguis replied in a worried tone.
"Do you think Tenebris would keep him wherever he has gone there forever?"
As soon as Violentiam asked that question everyone looked at him which included Arloch. This made him wish he had kept his mouth shut.
'That is defiantly possible. There is no telling what she might do these days.'
Arloch thought as she turned to look back at the void with concern.
'That is why I had rushed...'
She put her thought at hold as the void on the ground than turned into black mud and a body of a man that looked so malnourished came up out of it. The others instantly knew who it was but looking at his half naked body and seeing how it looked like a corpse of a man that had died long ago but with his skin still intact, they did not know what to make of the scene.
Tenebris appeared from the ground next to the shriveled body.
"Awe, looks like he wanted to be bones just like his master."
She said in amusement. The rest just looked at her like she was insane to even say that. They looked at the body again than took a step back in surprised as the body opened its eyes which were blood red and then took a long breath like it was the first one it had took in its life.
