Fifty-one packs, totaling five hundred and ten companies. Fair prices, fair outcomes!" Chapter 19

"Looking for a card?" Xuelang found it a bit strange. Shouldn't the NPCs in the beginner's levels give simple tasks like delivering something or finding a lost item? But instead, this NPC was talking about a card...

Xuelang couldn't help but think that there must be something more to this NPC. Perhaps it was a hidden side quest or even a main quest, an important NPC for the middle and late stages of the game. As the player's level increases and the game progresses, fusion should become a basic card played frequently. It seemed likely that giving this NPC a fusion card would trigger a series of sequential missions.

Obviously this guy was stretching it to much, like when you might have occasional thoughts of you being able to do crazy stuff.

Just when Xuelang was sweating in his anxiousness, Yuyu took the opportunity to "kindly" suggest a solution. He mentioned the Card Store, located two streets away, where players could buy cards they needed. Common cards were readily available for purchase, while most cards could be obtained through random card packs. Yuyu was essentially promoting the shop where he worked.

Xuelang's eyes lit up as he saw a way out. But then he remembered that he didn't have any currency of the game. Fortunately, Yuyu, being a considerate NPC, continued to guide him by mentioning special events where players could receive cards and coupons randomly from certain stores. These coupons could be used to exchange for cards that couldn't usually be bought.

Xuelang furrowed his brows, thinking he didn't have any coupons on his new account. But then he realized he might actually have one. His eyes lit up as he finally grasped the hint You Yu had been giving him. Each new account created by the players came with its own cards and coupons presented by the system.

Although Yuyu also had coupons, he had already used them to exchange for a powerful card called "Witch Hunting." Xuelang, on the other hand, had a gift card coupon that came with his initial account, which seemed to have no useful purpose. However, he now saw an opportunity to use it.

Coupons, quite the usual items, with it, players can redeem for a certain card they want.

Xuelang opened the list of card pools where he could exchange his coupon, checking it multiple times. He couldn't find anything particularly useful to him. Should he just give the coupon to this NPC instead? But he hesitated because it was a newbie gift, and there was only one piece, which would disappear once he gave it away.

After a moment of indecision, Xuelang looked into the clear and sharp eyes of the NPC in front of him and made a quick decision. He chose to accept the mission from Yuyu and immediately exchanged his only card coupon for the Card Fusion, which he handed over to Yuyu.

Yuyu accepted the fusion card and nodded. Although the coupon didn't hold much value for him, Fusion was the only card that was useful.

Yuyu didn't reward spar for the first mission, as he was short on it himself, and he had no money at the moment. However, he allocated over 300 experience points to Xuelang as a reward, from his daily quota.

Yuyu was careful not to exploit the players. Word of mouth was important in any business, including being an NPC. Yuyu understood the principles of sustainable development. If players felt taken advantage of, it would damage his reputation and make it difficult to benefit from them in the future. It was crucial to maintain a positive relationship with the players. Thus, he made sure to provide benefits, showing that he was treating them well.

Since he didn't have time or money to open card packs, Yuyu decided to gather three fusions cards first. He left a leaflet with the address of the Card Shop for Xuelang, asking for his help the next morning at 7 o'clock. If interested, Xuelang could bring as many friends as possible to meet him.

Xuelang was overjoyed, nodding eagerly. He continued nodding until Yuyu left the stadium and disappeared from sight.
