Epilogue

Inside what seems to be a hospital room lies a young man in his late teens on a rather plane white hospital bed. Beside him is some kind of apparatus where a beeping sound is coming from. A long tube connected to what seems to be a bag of water is injected to his hand. The man's eyelids slowly twitched before opening up. The man looked around the room trying to make sense as to where he was. After inspecting his surroundings, the man saw an old lady in a floral blouse sitting beside him, asleep. He moved his arms and clasped his hands several times like there's something wrong with them. He was wearing an oversize hospital gown. However, despite the cover the gown provides, his malnourished feature, like he hasn't eaten for years, was very evident. Though his hair was long, it was properly kept like someone has been taking care of him before he woke up.

"Where am I?" The man thought to himself. As reality slowly sinks in, an image of a very beautiful girl wearing a white one piece dress flashed in his mind. "Who is she?"

As if his voice was her alarm clock, the old lady beside the man woke up.

"Reve? Reve!" The old lady started to cry. Large droplets of tears run down her wrinkled cheeks. She stretched her arms as if she was trying to hug the man but soon stopped. She wiped her tears as she form the gentlest smile she could do. "Good morning, Reve."

The guy called Reve tried to open his mouth but no words came out.

"Wait there, I'll call the doctor." The old lady reassured Reve before running outside as she calls someone. "Doctor! Reve is awake!"

Reve tried to get up, but he can't even muster any strength to do so. After trying for several times, he decided to give up. Reve stared at the ceiling with an empty mind. He moved his eyes as if he was trying to remember something. After pondering for a while, he sighed.

"What was I doing there?" He thought. The last thing that he can remember was that he was inside a warehouse. What comes next was a pure mystery for him.

Inside that white room, he can only hear the birds chirping in unison with that strange beeping sound coming from the electrocardiogram. He tried to say something but even the very act of opening his mouth was hard. After opening his mouth several times to form even a single word, he decided to give up. After staring at the ceiling for a little longer, he closed his eyes.

As Reve was about to fall asleep once more, the room's door opened. What came after were loud clicking footsteps, different from that of the old lady a while ago. Reve slowly opened his eyes and was greeted by an unfamiliar yet strangely nostalgic smile. Standing in front of him was a beautiful girl in her cute yellow blouse with a matching denim pants. Her smooth white skin matched perfectly with her long black hair that glistens as the sun light strikes her.

"You're finally awake." The lady said in relief.

"Who-" Reve tried to muster all his strength to utter that single word. The person in front of him simply cocked her head.

"Who am I? Now that's really rude of you, Reve." The lady laughed softly. "Hmm, let me think. Ah, I got it. I'm your guardian angel."
