Creepy Bastard

"Mr Richards….what is that sound! " she asked anxiously.

Her voice made him calm. As he was standing while showing his back to the door, turned towards her. First thing, he noticed her red puffy eyes which used to be so beautiful. 

"Mr Richards… Your friend Mr Peterson came to visit you? Shall I send him in! " she asked him professionally.

" Yeah.  Send him. But I don't need a Latte now. Just get ready for the meeting we have to attend today " he ordered.

She was surprised to know that he denied having morning Latte. But still, she was not interested to know why. 

" Why should I bother, if he doesn't want Latte," she thought and walked out of his cabin. Once she saw Lancelot at her desk, she informed Lancelot to go and visit Cameron.

He smiled and walked inside the CEO cabin.

" Yeah…. Cam Good morning…" Lancelot greeted as soon as he stepped in. 

" Morning Lance, I didn't expect you here. I thought you would be busy with your photoshoot…" he said, hiding his anger. 

" Of course, I would be busy with my photoshoot. But….from this afternoon. So I thought of visiting your office beauty.  As per yesterday's talk with her, I understood that you are right about her. Making her fall for me is a tough job.  She refused to come with me when I asked her to accompany me shopping.  You might be right, she is serious in a relationship,  " he replied.

Cameron felt relaxed knowing the truth. But also on the other side, he felt ashamed to talk with her rudely. 

" Okay then…leave about her…" Cameron informed Lancelot.

" Never. I challenged you that I will make her fall for me. Still, I have nine days to deal with her. If plan A fails then I will execute plan B…" he said.

" Cam…do you know I couldn't sleep well last night! Your sexy assistant figure was flashing in my vision. Just I want to taste every inch of her body. That's why I am here at your company. Those alluring eyes and red lips are so attractive.  I wonder why this girl is not in our modelling firm. If she is willing to work as a model, I will support her. If she would in the modelling world, the men would fall at her feet. Such a sexy and curvy figure, she is…" Lancelot was bickering continuously.

Cameron gritted his teeth in anger. He wanted to break his jaws to talk like that. But he can't do it as he used to like that with many women. So, he kept a straight face without interrupting his stupid talk.

Meanwhile, Ava entered, holding the files in her hand. Lancelot stopped talking and ogled at her. "Mr Richards…We need to go to the meeting…" she informed Cameron.

" Well, I am running out of time. I have to attend the meeting. Sorry, I have to go…" Cameron said.

" Oh…no…I thought I would get a cappuccino from your assistant today also. Yet it's okay. I will come back in  five days after my photoshoot…" Lancelot said, looking at Cameron.

" She will make it for you when you are here the next time…" Cameron said.

" Okay bye. …" Lancelot took leave from Cameron but his eyes were on Ava.

Ava and Cameron started in his car to meet at the client's company. Ava silently sat beside him, looking out of the glass window.

 Cameron called Ava by her name. She turned at him and looked at his face. 

" I think…I crossed the line yesterday. Just forget about it. I will take my words back…" Cameron said sincerely. 

" Can't he say sorry to me for his misbehaviour! What an arrogant person he is? " she thought inside. But she simply nodded her head as he is her boss and she needs this job. But the pain in her heart subsided with his words.

It took twenty minutes for them to reach the place. Already the client's assistant was there to visit them. They reached the conference in that company and soon the meeting started. The meeting went on for two hours and discussion was going about investments and new product launching in the market. The marketing executive was explaining on the projector to Cameron about their strategies.

On the other side, Ava who was standing beside Cameron's chair held the handle of Cameron's chair. Her legs were trembling and her vision was blurring. All of sudden, she lost her balance, feeling very weak and fell on the floor.

Everyone's heads turned towards Ava. Instantly Cameron stood up from the chair and made her sit on the chair. By calling her name, he gently patted her cheeks to make conscious. Then one of the employees in that company sprinkled some water on her face. Cameron panicked to see her in that state.  

Slowly her eyelids fluttered and then she opened her eyes. The first person she found was Cameron with a worried expression then she found the other staff of the client. He gave a glass of water to her for drinking. After she drank it , he asked her, " Are you fine! " She nodded her head as she was guilty as she was the reason to interrupt the meeting. " Mr. Ben …We can continue our meeting some other time " Cameron said and looked at Ava.

He doesn't want to be a person who wants to live with emotions, attachments and affections. But after she entered his life, she was changing his mindset which he doesn't want. She was looking at him with fear in her eyes.

 " Let's go …Miss. Miller, " he ordered.  She stood up from the chair and followed him silently.
