2. Past

Su RuQian had always been loved very deeply by her mother. Even though her father was always busy with work, Su RuQian felt that her father loved her in his own way. Ever since she was a young girl, the only fear Su RuQian had was being abandoned by her loved ones.

This stemmed from losing her grandmother Zhang Xie; her maternal grandmother; at a very young age whom she had spent a lot of time with and whom she held dearly.

After that her father got into a fight with Zhang Wennai, her grandfather, and got busy with his work. Her grandfather stopped visiting them and she rarely saw him because Zhang Tech was a much more successful company than her father's company and he was very busy handling it alone after her grandmother's death.

Su RuQian only had her mother who used to shower her with love but when she turned 10, her mother died due to an internal organ failure and she was left alone. The only thing Su RuQian craved for was love, so when she found it in the form of Chang Min she embraced him with everything she had.

She was elated because Chang Min seemed to really like her and used to follow her, wanting to be with her every minute of the day. After graduating from high school, Chang Min got into the prestigious A University of Imperial City.

Not wanting to be left alone Su RuQian also followed Chang Min to A University, leaving her dream of becoming an actress, to study business.

C Tech was not a very popular company but it was still one of the top 50 businesses and Chang Min started working in his father's company to learn the ins and outs with his father and brother.

Slowly the interactions between Chang Min and Su RuQian reduced. When Su RuQian tried to contact Chang Min, he kept saying that he was busy. Every time she called him he either didn't answer or even if he did he would tell her that she was disturbing his work.

One day he did come to visit Su RuQian in her dorm only to try and get physical with her but Su RuQian didn't let him because frankly they hadn't talked for weeks and they had never even held hands or kissed before but there he was wanting sex.

Angry that Su RuQian wouldn't put out Chang Min left and started avoiding her. After not speaking for months Su RuQian saw the news that Chang Min was getting engaged to a model turned actress Lu Xu Mei, who was known as the top student in Imperial Media.

When Su RuQian went to ask Chang Min about the engagement that's when she realized she had opened a can of worms...
