14. Ignorant Fool

Wan Wan stood there fuming while glaring at the two sluts who were calm and collected. These two were just slutting around but they were acting as if they were high and mighty. That RuQian was running behind her Chang ge which angered her. Everyone in the whole school knew how much Wan Wan liked Chang Min and they tried to steer clear of her when it came to him.

Once when a girl had given him a love letter Wan Wan went after the girl into the restroom and pulled her hair out. The poor girl still had some bald spots, as if this wasn't enough, once when a girl made Chang Min homemade chocolates, Wan Wan followed her carrying hot water and 'accidentally' stumbled into her scalding the poor girl's hands.

With the first case, because it all happened in the ladies room no one could say anything and during the second time she acted as if it was an accident and even pretended to have a sore throat to show that she was carrying hot water for that reason.

All the others clearly knew that she was acting because the same day during lunch she spoke with a normal voice when she claimed to have a sore throat just a few hours ago. So everyone was allowed to praise and look at Chang Min but they were not allowed to give him gifts or show any feelings or else who knew what Wan Wan's next 'act' would be.

But Wan Wan never realized that her so called best friend who was standing beside her was actually Chang Min's lover. She always thought that Lu Xu Mei and Chang Min were good friends and that Lu Xu Mei was helping her put in a good word for Chang Min.

Lu Xu Mei befriended Wan Wan for this very reason. One was her blind one-sided love for Chang Min, the second reason was that she was very easy to manipulate. Lu Xu Mei had to just say a few words for Wan Wan to act like a blind puppet. Lu Xu Mei had already warned Chang Min to behave in front of Wan Wan. So they acted as friends whenever Wan Wan was around.

RuQian was clearly able to see how Lu Xu Mei was easily able to instigate Wan Wan and how easily she was getting her work done without dirtying her own hands.

"What an ignorant fool." Lan Xie was getting a headache early in the morning because of the bees buzzing around her.

Wan Wan was about to burst out but Lu Xu Mei stopped her "We should get back now. Classes are going to start. It is not good to be late. Let's go."

"I will deal with you two later." Wan Wan huffed and left. Soon everybody dispersed and Lan Xie turned towards RuQian.

"Qian Qian are you okay? Did that dumb girl pester you? You should have fought back. Why did you not say anything?"

"If a dog barks at me I can't go and bark back now, can I? It's better to just treat them like air and not give them any importance. They will stop barking after a while."

"You are right. But I was so angry! How can I let anyone insult my friend?"

"Oh right Lan Xie! How dare you lie to me!?"

"Huh? Qian Qian when did I lie to you?"

"This scarf! Did you not say that it was just a freebie you got after buying the bracelet for me?"

"Ahh? That?"

"Yes That!"

"Ummm.... Actually Qian Qian after I gave you the bracelet you never really wore it a lot of times because it was expensive, so I had no other choice but to lie about the scarf. "

"The reason I did not wear the bracelet was not because it was expensive but because you gave it to me. And because you told me this scarf was a freebie I thought it was not something you chose for me. I would never have wasted this scarf if you had just told me the truth."

"I can understand how you feel but it's okay Qian Qian, this gives me the chance to get you something else. It has been a while since I have cleared out my bank card. Daddy must be worried thinking something happened to his princess. What do you want this time? Should I get you shoes? Or maybe a purse? Oh Oh let me get you earrings to go with your bracelet." Lan Xie beamed as she listed more and more gifts she wanted to buy for herself and RuQian.

This was what made RuQian fond of Lan Xie. She had such a bubbly character which could turn around Ru Qian's mood in just a matter of seconds. The girl who was calm and calculative a few moments ago could not be seen as she babbled on about the latest fashion week.

After lunch as RuQian and Lan Xie were headed for their art class they came across another ignorant fool surrounded by a few girls.
