Chapter 7

Eve's POV

Huminga ako ng malalim saka diniinan ang pagkakahawak ko sa pack bag ko. *sigh

Ngumiti na ako kaagad. Finally.

"Thanks for the help," sabi ko sa isang estudyante na hindi nagsasalita

Tumango lang siya saka sumakay sa kabayong dala niya. Seems like she loves animals, which means her persona is about animals. Animals are attracted to her. Cool.

Kumaway kaway nalang ako saka tumingin sa dorm na nasa harapan ko. Nagiisa lang pala ang dorm namin sa left side, sa may forest side banda. Tinignan ko ng maayos 'yung dorm ng team ko. Uhh. It's different. It's humongous!

Damn these elite kids!

Anyways, naglakad na ako papunta ng gate saka hinarap ang susi ko sa may sensor at agad na itong bumukas. Our keys aren't literally keys. It's a badge with the team's logo or something. Coincidentally, it's a black raven.

HAHAHAHA.

Tae lang. Palayaw ko 'yan ah?

"Hi! Ikaw ba 'yung bagong teammate namin?" tanong ng isang babaeng nasa may pinto kaya naman ngumiti na ako

"Oo. Ako ng..a" nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang may tatlong lalaki ang sumilip sa likuran niya

Nang mapansin kong nandun 'yung Tim ay nagpatay malisya nalang ako at pumasok na sa gate saka lumapit sakanila.

"H-hello. Eve nga pala. Nice to meet you," bati ko saka ko sila tinignan ng mabuti

Sht. Sht.

Timothy. Top 1 sa lahat ng mga first years. I forgot. Tim na nga ang tawag nila eh.

Ang tanga mo talaga, Eve!

"Oh!" reak nung Tim pero agad din siyang natigilan dahil tumingin ang iba sakanya

"U-uh, well, uhm"

"Tim, don't tell me.. she's--" sabi nung lalaking kasing tangkad nung Tim kaya naman napraning akong sumagot

"A-ah! It's you! I saw you earlier. You helped that beautiful girl, right?" tanong ko kaya naman nagulat silang lahat

Nung kumunot ang noo ni Tim ay nginitian ko lang siya kaya naman napalunok siya saka tumango tango kaagad.

"Y-yeah, that BEAUTIFUL girl with some attitude problems," sagot niya pabalik kaya naman kahit na nainis ako ay tumango tango nalang din ako

"She could have just thanked you even if she doesn't mean it. Sa tingin ko baguhan din siya dito tulad ko eh" sagot ko kaya naman siya na ang ngumiti

"Well, yeah. It was nothing really. Alam ko namang ang kagwapuhan ko ang dahilan kung bakit siya ganun," sagot niya

Conceited. Narcissist. Bipolar.

Just what is this guy made of?

"Whoah. What's with the atmosphere? It's kind of cold. Can you feel it, bro?" rinig kong tanong nung cheerful na lalaki dun sa isa pang lalaki na kasing tangkad ni Tim

"O-okay, uhm, so you guys already met, huh? How about we get inside first? Malamig na since pagabi na eh" sabi nung babae

Pumasok na sila kaya naman sumunod na ako. Pagkapasok ko ay hindi na ako nagreak pa, nakakapagod din eh. Alam ko namang mas magarbo ang nasa loob. Tsk.

Damn these elite kids.

"So should we start with the introductions?" tanong nung babae kaya naman ngumiti na ako kaagad

"My name's Eve Fluore," bati ko ulit sakanila kaya naman nagkatinginan sila

"Uhh, 'yun lang ba ang sasabihin mo?" tanong pa nung babae kaya naman nagtataka akong tumingin sakanya

"A-ano pa bang gusto niyong marinig?" tanong ko pabalik kaya naman nagkatinginan kami

Humalakhak siya bigla kaya naman nagulat 'yung mga lalaki sa mga naging reaksyon niya.

"Anna, you're true colors are showing" bulong nung lalaking mukhang napaka-cheerful kaya naman natawa ako

"Tsk. It's fine. After all, Eve's already part of the family now," sagot ni Anna saka siya lumapit sa akin at nag-cling sa kamay ko kaya naman napatingin ako sakanya

Napahawak ako sa dibdib ko dahil sa sinabi niya.

"W-what's wrong?" tanong nung cheerful na lalake saka lumapit sa amin kaya naman napangiti nalang ako kaagad saka umiling

"Family.. haven't heard it in a while," sagot ko kaya naman hindi sila nakapagsalita ng ilang segundo dahilan kung bakit ako natawa

"Anyways, ano nga palang mga pangalan niyo?" tanong ko

"Ay, tama nga pala. Ang pangalan ko ay Anna. An from my mom's name Mae An and Na from my dad's name Nathaniel," sabi ni Anna kaya naman tumango tango ako

"I'll do the proper introduction. Anna's ranked 104th in the school ranking but when it's the girls' division, she's in the 50th rank. Her persona is barrier. She can create barriers that can stop even the air or sand. It's both an offensive and a defensive persona" sabi ni Tim kaya naman napatango ako

"She's noisy and obnoxious. I think you'll get along just fine," dagdag niya kaya naman pinilit ko nalang na ngumiti

Annoying brat. Tsk.

Anna. An from her mom's name Mae An and Na from her dad's name Nathaniel. Haha

Anna's very pretty. Sa tingin ko ay magkaparehas lang kami ng height and sizes when it comes to clothing and shoes. Bluish azure ang kulay ng mga mata niya at hanggang balikat ang haba ng brown niyang buhok. She looks like a foreigner pero meron paring kakaibang-look na hindi nawawala. Specially when she smiles, she's gorgeous.

That's all her outside appearances. In fighting abilities.. she's strong. Sa kamay palang na ginamit niyang pang cling sa akin, I can feel that she's been having a very rigid training. Pero it's also amazing that it can't be seen in her physique and expressions.

Barrier. Is that what really defines her?

"Hoy, kayo na," sabi ni Anna

"Eve, it's nice to finally meet you. My name's Peter" pagpapakilala nung cheerful na lalaki

"Peter's very cheerful. He's ranked 103rd in the overall ranking but in the men's category, he's ranked 89th. His persona is teleportation. He can go to places he thinks of in just a split second. He can also bring a minimum of 5 people with him just by holding a part of his body. So when you want to go somewhere fast or not, just call him" sabi ni Tim dahilan kung bakit siya sinuntok ng mahina ni Peter

"That's not the kind of introduction I wanted to hear, bro" bulong ni Peter kaya naman natawa ako

Peter. Peter's cute. He's taller than me but shorter than the other two guys. May mixture ng brown at black ang hair niya't mga mata at napaka-puti niya. You can also say that he's a beautiful man.

Fighting abilities? Due to his eye movements, I think he's good in observations and creating tactics. Hindi rin halata sa katawan niya pero tulad ni Anna'y nagtre-training din siya sa hindi makapaniwalang paraan.

Teleportation. I see.

He must love adventure.

"I'm Stan. Hi," sabi naman nung lalaking katabi ni Timothy

"Stan is the type of guy that hates attention. He seems to be the oldest because of his matured looks and actions but he's actually the youngest one here," sabi ni Timothy kaya naman nabigla ako

Tinignan ko siya pero agad siyang nahiya at binaling ang tingin niya sa ibang direksyon.

Really? Hindi ko ine-expect 'yun ah.

"Ah, you're here now. So I guess you're the youngest, Eve. You're birthday is in December, so you're the youngest" sabi ni Peter kaya naman pilit nalang akong ngumiti

Well.. *sigh

Sige nalang. Kung ano mang nalaman niyo through Ate Cash, sige nalang. Ako nalang ang pinakabata.

"Stan is the 102nd rank in the overall ranking but in the boy's division he's ranked 75th. His persona is creation. He can create anything he can think of. May it be gold, weapons or even clothes. So if you want something, just ask him for it"

"Ah. He's a gadget freak and he speaks in English so you better brace yourself when he starts to open up to you," dagdag ni Timothy kaya naman tinignan ko si Stan saka ko siya nginitian pero nahihiya lang siyang iniwas ang tingin niya

Stan. He's just as handsome as the other two. But it seems like he's the most matured one here like what Timothy said. He has the exact same height as Timothy but his physique is a bit different. Maybe because he has wide shoulders. He has violet eyes and brown-colored hair.

He's quiet, calm and collected, that I'm sure. As for his fighting abilities.. hmm.. he's mysteriously overflowing with a charismatic aura that says he's someone to be reckon with.

"And I'm Timothy, just so you know, 101st ranked in the overall ranking and ranked 90th in the boys' division" sagot naman nung Timothy kaya naman napatitig ako sakanya habang naglalakad siya papalapit sa akin

"My persona is one of the forbidden personas. It's copy," sabi niya kaya naman tumango tango nalang ako

"You're not shocked," nagtataka niyang sabi kaya naman tumango ako

"What's wrong with that? This is Clandestine Inc. They probably have more than one forbidden persona here," sagot ko kaya naman ngumiti siya dahilan kung bakit nanatili lang akong nakatingin sakanya

And Timothy.. he's handsome. He has silky dark-blue hair and eyes. He's very poised and he wears glasses like I do.

There's not much to say except for the fact that he's...

Binitawan na ako ni Anna at naglinya sa tabi ni Timothy saka ginaya ang ginawa niya. Sinarado din nila ang mga kamao nila't inilagay sa mga puso nila.

"Welcome to the family," sabay sabay nilang sabi

From the look in their eyes it seems like.. I can never ever let my guard down with these kids.
