"Morkai, no," Straasa tells him in a low voice that brooks no argument. It does nothing to calm down the redhead.

"Why? Do you trust her?" Morkai demands.

Straasa looks at him seriously. "No, not particularly. But she did save us, and we do owe her a debt. And if it's a trap, well—we'll deal with it when the time comes. But right now, we take her at her word."

"My, what a suspicious bunch of pretty people you all are," the elf remarks unhelpfully.

Neither man pays any attention to her. They seem to be engaged in some silent communication only they are privy to. You look at the elf, locking eyes with her, and she winks at you.

Straasa eventually speaks, a decision finally reached between him and Morkai. "Very well. Morkai and I will accompany you where you want to go. Then our debt to you is repaid."

The red-haired man doesn't looks particularly happy about this. No, he looks distinctly displeased.

"And pretty eyes too," Daelynn immediately says.

Um. What?

Straasa seems to be of the same opinion as you, if the widening of his blue eyes is any indication.

"What?!" Morkai puts in, feeling it important to add his opinion to this conversation. "The boy? Why? He can barely keep himself alive!"
