Anne starts dragging Arlo back to the village, "Gabino, help me."

You run over to help.

The woman laughs, "You have 1 hour to open the gates and surrender…or the same will happen to everyone in the village." You go inside the village and lay Arlo down. He isn't moving, but he has a heartbeat.

The village elder comes in a panic, "You would bring that undead monster inside our village walls?"

Anne scoffs, "He is not undead."

"Then how do you explain what happened…him dying and then rising up only to attack you?", asks the village elder.

Anne doesn't know what to say.

The Village elder pulls out a knife, "We should kill him…before he wakes back up and kills us…"

Anne pulls out her sword, "I was hesitate to attack him, but nothing is stopping me from chopping you in two old man…"

The barbarian warrior you saw earlier walks up, "Enough. I don't know what happened, but I would advise we tie this man up. We can decide what to do with him later."

Anne hesitates and then puts away his sword, "Alright…but if any of you harm him…I'll kill you."

"Fair enough", says the barbarian warrior. He ties up Arlo and takes him away.

"What did the necromancers say?", asks the village elder.

"They said you have an hour to surrender…", says Anne without thinking.

"Thank goodness…we should surrender than…perhaps they won't turn all of us into the undead if we cooperate."

Anne looks at him angrily, "You will not surrender to those pretenders. I don't know exactly what happened to my friend…but I intend to ask him after he wakes up."

The villager elder backs up some from Anne.

Anne yells out orders to the troops she brought, "Protect the walls. The enemy may attack sooner than they stated…be ready."

"What are you doing?", asks the village elder, "We should surrender."

She looks at the village elder with contempt, "You call yourself Galamencian? You can stay out of the coming battle if you want, but we are holding this village. Now get out of my way."

The village elder curses and leaves.

"Do you think we can trust him?", you ask Anne.

Anne shakes her head, "Probably not…we should send some guards to cover our rear, just in case he tries something crazy."

You nod and instruct the guards.
