Dark Witchcraft

On this day, Ling Fan was working on creating an antidote for "Dark Backlash" for Faraday. Actually, creating the antidote wasn't difficult, just a bit cumbersome. If it weren't for Faraday's knowledge of current affairs, Ling Fan wouldn't bother with such a cumbersome task!

Ling Fan primarily used "Ghost Stench Grass" as the main ingredient and added some other herbs. He began patiently concocting the antidote.

Regardless, Faraday's books truly helped Ling Fan. Otherwise, Ling Fan wouldn't have reached the realm of a divine necromancer. Given Ling Fan's personality, he wouldn't accept favors from others without reason.

While Ling Fan was preparing the antidote, suddenly a flash of inspiration crossed his mind. This sudden revelation was quite strange, as it came without any warning.

Suddenly, Ling Fan felt as if something was calling to him, so he put down his work and carefully pondered the meaning behind this inspiration.

Necromancy? Dark magic? Undead summoning? Skeleton warriors?... Isn't this similar to witchcraft? Ling Fan thought like this in his mind, as if he had grasped something but couldn't quite put it into words.

What connection could there be between dark magic and witchcraft? Ling Fan began to think excitedly. If he could succeed, he believed it would be a groundbreaking achievement.

Dark magic utilizes mental power, while witchcraft utilizes witch energy. Although they are different, sometimes they can achieve similar results. Can it be considered that they have a common point? Ling Fan's developed brain started to work rapidly.

While Ling Fan was contemplating a breakthrough, suddenly his body trembled. The strange illusion he had seen before appeared before his eyes:

It was a vast white world with various enchantments swirling in the air. These enchantments seemed to have a special meaning and each carried its own life, dancing in an imperceptible rhythm. Their movements seemed to be explaining something to Ling Fan, as if they contained significant secrets.

As if there was a tremendous mystical force, when Ling Fan saw this strange scene, he felt his brain cells begin to boil. The feeling was truly marvelous, as if he had suddenly comprehended something. This sensation made him realize that he hadn't truly been using his brain to think before, and only now did he experience what real thinking was.

Suddenly, Ling Fan once again trembled all over. He found it, he finally found it! He had found the connection he had sensed! In an instant, the properties of dark magic and witchcraft began to merge and adjust in Ling Fan's mind, giving birth to a new theory. With time passing by, the new theory finally appeared perfectly in front of Ling Fan.

Dark Witchcraft, a completely new concept that breaks convention, was born at this moment!

Just as Ling Fan had this enlightenment, the strange illusion disappeared and became intangible. No matter how hard Ling Fan tried, he couldn't summon it again, as if this illusion is only his hallucination.

"Master, are you awake? That's great..." Robin's choked voice came from beside him.

"What happened to me? Why am I here?" Ling Fan discovered that he was lying on a wooden bed. He clearly remembered he was creating the antidote, so how did he end up in bed?

"Master, you were in a coma for half a month, and now you finally woke up. That's great," Robin said, wiping away her tears with a smile.

"Half a month? Do you mean I was in a coma for half a month?" Ling Fan couldn't believe his ears. He thought it was just a strange dream, but how could he have been in a coma for half a month?

"Yes," Robin nodded gently. "Master, you must be hungry. I'll prepare some food for you."

Saying that, Robin went to prepare the food.

Ling Fan watched Robin's figure and felt a bit dizzy. He had actually been in a coma for half a month; it was truly unbelievable.

Wait! Ling Fan suddenly realized something and sat up straight. Dark witchcraft, haha, I'm truly brilliant!

Ling Fan had just realized that he had achieved an unprecedented feat, something that had never done before.

After hastily eating some food, Ling Fan began to verify the feasibility of his ideas. To his surprise, it worked perfectly! Dark magic could be freely transformed into witch energy, and witch energy could also be freely transformed into dark magic. Moreover, Ling Fan discovered that if these two different powers were merged, they would produce a special power, which he named "Dark Witch Power." This power was even more terrifying, and Ling Fan firmly believed that it was a groundbreaking discovery.

This was a significant breakthrough in human history. From this point on, Ling Fan found a way to enhance his own strength.

It was well known that the highest realm for necromancers was the divine necromancer. In other words, once a necromancer reached the divine necromancer level, they have already reached the peak of necromancy. Any further efforts would only result in increase of their dark energy. However, after Ling Fan merged dark magic and witchcraft, this boundary was broken, allowing it to advance into higher level of power.

In other words, as long as one had high comprehension and sufficient power, they could continue striving for higher realms through continuous effort.

Another advantage of merging dark magic and witchcraft was that it can simplify cultivation.

The most noteworthy aspect was that Ling Fan, with his profession as a necromancer, he could unleash some techniques from witchcraft. This was truly extraordinary! After all, witchcraft was highly regarded in the cultivation world. Ling Fan successfully demonstrated several minor witchcraft techniques such as "Confusion," "Weakening," "Phantom Walk," and "Insight." However, for more powerful witchcraft techniques like "Mountain of Blades and Sea of Flames" and "Withered Souls," he couldn't perform them yet. It seemed that he should need to continue training.

"Robin, come here," Ling Fan called out to Robin.

"What's the matter, Master?" Robin's figure appeared before Ling Fan in a flash. It seemed she had become quite skilled in her movement technique.

"Now I'm going to teach you a new secret technique: Dark Witchcraft. But once you've learned it, try not to use it unless you have fully mastered it. Also, you must never pass it on to others, understand?" Ling Fan said in a serious tone. Despite his attempts at sounding mature, with his childlike appearance and immature voice, he couldn't exude much authority.

"Robin understands!" Robin obediently nodded.

At that moment, Ling Fan imparted the introductory information of his newly created "Dark Witchcraft" to Robin. Since Robin had a foundation in dark magic, she found it easy to learn, encountering no difficulties except for mastering the execution of the technique.
