It was an almost universal rule that both players and NPCs followed. According to a gaming guru, both lines and POSES were key factors in obtaining Plot Points -- 'based on your performance in the story campaign,' they said, referred exactly to this.
Not only did you have to win, but you also had to win with style, in a manner befitting your character's storyline role. That way, the System would score you highly, rewarding you with more Plot Points.
