My best friend framed me and stole my wife

Part 1

Hi, my name is Ethan and I am 36 years old and I will tell you about how my best friend framed me and stole my wife.  7 years ago, I got married to Julie who I thought was my perfect girlfriend, but my job at Pris (a multinational company) was not supporting my salary and income, my family struggled with the bills.  I've been working as a regular office worker since 12 years ago, I never got promoted or received congratulation by my boss.  Lionel, my best friend since age 3 has always been a sibling to me, whenever something happens he would immediately respond and help me but I never knew about the truth of this friendship.  When I was little I didn't have that many friends, Lionel just approached me and that is when we started our friendship.  One day, my wife asked about my job, I didn't know how she would respond to it, but my guess on how she would respond was completely different when she heard she went crazy.  She said "what demands of your boss to promote you, I can't be seen with a poor husband, do it or I divorce you in a week", I just said, "why don't you help me, but I don't know about stepping up, well I will try".  My wife didn't have a job she studied as a scientist and possibly could have to make a better career than me but decided to quit the career and rest while I worked.  Well, I asked my friend Lionel to help me, he agreed to it and we worked on how to impress my boss and get my promotion to impress my wife.  For the next four days, everything went well except that I noticed my friend and wife spending a lot of time together since day 2, Lionel will visit me often than before and usually, my wife would reject it but accept late at night.  When it was time for the promotion interview I was interviewed first by my boss when it ended I was told that I got promoted to be the manager and my salary increase from making $135 per month to making $5 million per month.  Well, I continued to do my work as a manager but 15 days later, after I got promoted my boss said that I was doing illegal stuff to the company since day 1 that I got there.  I responded "I didn't do nothing, I would never do it" and my shock didn't stop there when he told me who said this he said Lionel told him, I had almost lost my mind when he said Lionel did he framed me for something I didn't do.  3 weeks ago, whenever I went to Lionel's house I noticed some suspicious documents and saw a lot of alcohol in his room and saw my wife's pictures, clothes, personal belongings.  Before I could move, my boss called the police to arrest me to commit crimes to earn more salary. I was arrested in front of my co-workers, people wouldn't stop talking about my arrest but when my friend came he gave a smirk like a fake smile.  I knew my suspicions about him, I spent the next 9 hours behind bars when Lionel came to visit me, he began laughing. I asked what was so funny he responded by saying.  "You're such a fool to trust your best friend, first I never wanted to be your friend my friends forced me to hang out with you and I liked you at first but when the sophomore year I liked Julie but you began to date her, I was upset so I started to stalk you two after you both married".  I heard that you were going to work at Pris so I applied to work and got hired, to get my revenge, I never expected that will happen from him....to be continued
