AT WITCHDOM PALACE

HARNEY'S POV:

I was waiting impatiently for my spy to come over with the information I need while I saw Jonny walking in.

Hey bowed to me while saying-" Is there any news Mother?"

I nodded in no while saying-" Not yet. The spy should be here at any minute. Let's wait for him"

Within no time a man walked in while panting heavily. He was injured. He bowed to me and Jonny before saying-" The knights died at the border and we were attacked. We lost our knights but I somehow managed to escape"

I quickly stood up from my chair and asked-" What happened? Who did this to you?"

He kneeled in exhaustion and replied-" Quinn's Knights!!!"

I asked a few men to help him up while asking once again-" And is there anything about Lady Georgia?"

" No, My queen, we haven't heard anything of her for over a year now. Also, We haven't seen King Tecca's son this whole time. the rumors were that Amira is now detecting the knights" He said before leaving.

Jonny asked-" We must be alert. There is something planning going on I must say. Tecca's family was not seen since that, Lady Georgia is hiding and Amira is taking the charge!!! Mother?" He turned towards me as he asked.

I replied-" yes?"

He said-" Do you remember Shawna said there was someone else while Lady Georgia came back?"

I nodded and replied-" I remember, but we have absolutely no information about that person yet"

He nodded agreeing and said-" Guards!!! "

A few guards came forth and bowed down while Jonny said-" Send few men to the border of Quinn and bring information of any new person in the palace"

They left while bowing down.

Jonny said-" Mother, We have to be careful now, The coronation is nearby and Shawna is in danger"

I replied while frowning-" I know. But let's not tell anything to her anything now. Let her enjoy her senior year. Soon she will be graduated and shall return to the kingdom. The recruitment will take place and we should guard the kingdom to tight security"

We agreed and he left.

SHAWNA'S POV"

EVENING TIME, WWS HALL ROOM:

We were standing in the queue waiting for our turn to take the result of the examination. Brad and Junnie haven't arrived yet, I was looking at the door from time to time and getting impatient. Suddenly a hand on my shoulder brought me back to my sense. I turned around and saw Felix smiling at me.

I immediately smiled back at him as he asked-" Waiting for someone princess Parshawna?"

I replied-" Uhm... Yes my friends.. and it's just Shawna"

He chuckled as he said-" Oh!! I don't dare to call the princess by her name. I am just a slave"

The fact he was calling himself a slave was giving me an uneasy feeling. So I said-" Felix, we are at school and here we all are equal and I love to be called by my name until I make my name to something I am worthy of"

He looked at me with his fascinated eyes and replied-" You are different from what I have heard"

I asked with a little frown-" What have you heard? From who?"

He smiled while looking down and said-" Just from people around"

While we are talking with each other, Jenny came to me while running. I asked-" Jenny? What's wrong?"

She replied while panting-" Uh... John... He...". She looked at me with her confused eyes.

I asked as I frowned-" What happened to John?"

She looked beside me towards Felix who was looking at us which the same expression. He understood we need some privacy so he left while saying-" Uh... I will see you around Princess!!. Bye Jenny"

Jenny smiled and nodded while he left from there.

I asked her-" Now tell me what happened"

JENNY'S POV:

A lot was going on in my mind I need to tell to someone. and that someone is none either than Shawna. She was always there for me and Junnie when it comes to advise. She even helped Brad and Junnie to get together. I guess She is the right person.

I was thinking all that while she slowly shake me to bring me back in my sense. as she asked-" Jenny? Are you okay?"

I nodded and I grabbed her hands while I pulled her outside. She tried to say something but I didn't give her any chance and took her to the garden, finally standing face to face,

She asked-" What happened to you, Jenny? It was our result..."

I guess she also noticed my nervous face and she immediately held my shoulder while asking-' Are you okay?"

I replied while looking down-" Well... Do you remember when J-John asked me out this Saturday?"

She nodded while looking at me with a frown. I said-" S-Something happened that day"

She asked-" What happened?"

FLASHBACK 2 DAYS AGO

I was waiting for John in the park. God, why is he late? Why did he ask me to come here? he is behaving this odd these days. I have to be back at home early, Mom said there will be guests. Lucky Brad that he is training for his job and can easily spend time with Junnie by escaping such things. AHHH I hate him though.

I was taken aback when I heard his noise.

John was standing right behind me and was listening to me as I was thinking all this a little too loud. he scoffed-"AHEM!!"

I quickly turned around and saw him smiling at me. I asked-" Why are you so late? Why did you call me here? tell me quickly as I have to be back home quickly". I looked away annoyingly

He didn't reply to me as he keep staring at me. For the first time, I felt a little blush over his gaze. Though I have never experienced the blush over such silly things. I tried to keep a straight face and asked-" W-Will you say something?"

He makes a grinning face while holding my hands and dragging me down. I could feel the rush in my adrenaline by his touch. My face is all red as I stuttered-" W-Where is y-you taking me?"

He didn't say anything and tightened his grip as I followed him quietly. We reached near the forest that lead to the hills upwards. He said while looking at me-" watch your steps okay?"

I nodded and we claimed the hills while he was still holding my hands. And without my knowledge, thousands of butterflies were flying inside my stomach.

We reached up in the hills and I couldn't believe my eyes while I saw the beautiful view of the sunset. I looked with awe while I felt two arms grab my waist. I flinched a little by the action but soon calm down when he kept his head on my shoulder while we both looking at the beautiful sunset.

He spoke-" So much peace"

I nodded and said-" isn't it beautiful?"

He looked at me with a wide smile and replied-" You are"

I looked at him and our eyes met for a second I froze at my spot while we both lost in each other's gaze.

He broke the silence and asked while leaving a small sigh-" Jenny. Do you know who is coming to your house today?"

I nodded in a no while looking at him in confusion. He chuckled at my behavior and replied-" I have two pieces of news for you"

I asked-" What?"

He turned me around and now we are facing each either getting the full view of each other. He said-" I have been selected for the special knights for the Kingdom of WitchWorld. I and Priam will be training together from now."

I smiled widely while clapping hands like a kid and said-" Wow? That is great. Brad said that he want to join the WWS as a professor. For a second I thought I will lose you guys. I am happy that now You will be with Priam and we can still have a connection"

He smirked at me and asked-" do you wanna be with me that bad?"

My smile disappeared as the blush took over all of my faces, I tried to dodge his gaze but soon he hold my chin and said-" Don't you want to know the second news?"

I nodded and he said with a big smile-" Tonight my mother is visiting your house."

I frown at his words and ask in confusion-" Your mother? why?"

He smiled and replied with a teasing tone-" Don't you want to see my mother? Do you hate here?"

I immediately nodded a few times saying no to his comment as I said-" No that's not it, I just..."

Before I could finish my sentence he said-" She is asking your parents to ask your hands in marriage for me"

I was shocked to hear his words. My legs were frozen and I can feel my heartbeat rising so rapidly. I think he can hear it too. It's like I almost forgot how to breathe!!! What? Marriage?. I somehow managed to hit his chest lightly while saying-" S-stop joking John"

He looked at me with doe serious eyes and replied-" I am not"

It is serious? Am I getting married to him? It's not like that I don't like him but I have never thought like this and this all are so sudden for me. I was never been in love before, nor did I understand what is love.

He understood my situation as he cupped my cheeks making me look at him as he asked-" Do you not want to marry me?"

I looked down as I can hear him sigh and say while removing his hands from me immediately-" I-I am sorry to touch you without your permission, Jenny. I want to tell you something, I have been keeping this for so long now."

I looked at him but he was facing his back at me. He continued-" I have loved you for a long time now. But I was too scared to tell you. I don't remember since when I started loving you, but all I know is that you make me happy. And Finally now When I am capable of taking your responsibilities I told my mother about you. You know My father died in the war so she is everything to me. She was happy to know about you and since she and your mother are friends she is coming to ask your hands in marriage for me"

He turned around to face me and I saw tears in his eyes. Honestly, it breaks my heart. I don't know I started to feel weak for him. Is this love? I am Still unaware of that feeling but surely he is someone I don't want to let go of. He said -" I-I am sorry I should have asked you before as y-you might be not want to marry me..."

Before he could finish I ran towards him hugging him with all my powers. He was taken aback for a moment but eventually hugged me back too. I said-" I don't know about love much but I-I want to marry you"

He was so happy as he spun me in his arms and I tightly hold him. He put me down as he cupped my cheeks again and this time I can see his eyes were shining. He said-" I am so happy Jenny, I promise I will keep you happy forever"

I smiled at him. and the next moment I can feel his soft lips over mine. My eyes were wide for the shock as his lips moved within mine making me melt in his arms. For some time I was frozen at my place but after some time I started moving my lips too while closing my eyes, feeling his every touch. His grip got tightened in my waist as I was lost in him. Suddenly he pulled out while smirking at me.

He said teasingly-" Enjoying much?"

I blushed hard at his words as I hid in his chest. He chuckled while hugging me back.

We came back home and John told our parents that we are ready for this marriage as both the families hugged each other in happiness.

END OF FLASHBACK

I told her everything as she listened to me with a big smile on her face. She shouted-" OH MY GOD!!! You are getting MARRIED?"

I put my hands on her mouth saying-" Slow down,"

She calmed down as I removed my hands from her mouth. She hugged me as she said-" Congratulations!!! Where is John?"

I looked down in shyness as I replied-" well that's the problem, He is searching for me and I-I am too shy to go in front of him now!!!"

She laughed out loud as I looked at her with a poker face. She stopped laughing while saying-" Awe you are too cute Jenny. Why do you feel shy? He is your soon-to-be husband!!"

I said-" Well, I just..."

Suddenly I heard John calling my name. I turned back to see him standing as he wave at us. I looked back at her and said-" Tell him I have an extra class with Professor Mecoy today". As I ran away.

SHAWNA'S POV

Saying this She ran away. I kept looking at her until her small figure disappeared in the crowd. John walked towards me asking-" Did she just run away"

I nodded while laughing-" YES!!!. Well, Congratulations Mr."

He nodded and said-" You should say congratulations to Priam too, He is waiting for you in the training field."

He walked away leaving me confused. Why is he waiting for me now? I started walking that way until I stopped hearing someone's sobbing

I went towards the direction to find who was sobbing at this hour. I was shocked to see Felix on the ground with blood all over his face as he was crying still laying on the ground. I quickly went over him and asked-" Felix? What happened?"

He looked at me with a straight face as he was trying to avoid me and said while looking away-" You should leave princess. People will get the wrong idea if they see a princess with a half-blooded wizard salve!!!"
