CHAPTER 14: THE ENCOUNTER

RYU stops by the table and leans over, smells like the girl, who, under the blanket, tries not to scream.

Then young RYU pulls one end of the fabric that covers it.

From a stronger pull, RYU discovers the girl.

For the first time, they look at each other.

On the one hand, the girl's skin, is a little pale white, they have beautiful large green eyes, she has less deep dark circles than DWYER had found her, her tangled reddish hair, her lips have a slight pink color, her body too thin, she is small, her body still shows signs of swelling on her face and scratches on her arms and legs.

This unprotected state shakes RYU, he never saw a wounded human until they returned from those expeditions.

Other than skin, her hair color and eyes, she, is nothing different from the humans of the kingdom she knows.

RYU understands that she is truly afraid of him.

He decides to approach the girl, approaching one of her arms with the intention of touching her head, to comfort her.

At that moment, the girl raises her head and opens her eyes, is so afraid to see him so close that, he screams and the young dragon pounces against her to cover her mouth, did not give her time to back down, he speaks very short, asks her not to scream anymore, will not hurt her.

The girl goes from scare to terror.

He kicks a lot.

He pushes his hand down, he wants me to let go of his face. Nothing can do against that young dragon.

RYU, without releasing her, asks you to forgive him for scaring her.

He begins to take his hands off the girl's face who rushes to remove them from her face, breathing desperately.

I was suffocating her.

He realizes his mistake.

The girl flees from him, getting under a table, and covers her face glued to the wall under it.

The young man, lost the notion of what he was doing, feels a little ashamed.

He realizes something serious could have happened inadvertently.

After a while, the girl from the new world calms down and stays still.

RYU hovers around the table, looking for her face, wants to see her.

She doesn't raise her face.

The young man then transforms into human, lowers the tone of his voice.

He looks like a 15-year-old human.

As they transformed, he also imitated the human clothing they wear in the castle.

He says his name is RYU.

He asks you to please trust him a little, he's here to help you.

The girl's eyes open great by those words.

The girl thinks it's the first time anyone's ever said that to her.

The girl turns her face towards RYU, her gaze lights up when she sees the young man wiping a smile, crouching, by the table and giving him his hand to come out.
