Birthday!~

Waking up she noticed the sun just started peaking through the horizon in her window, although she was up during the night she did not feel tired at all. 'Perhaps this body was just used to being awake for long periods of time?'

In her memories at least there weren't any times where she was up for long periods of time.

'It's not like it matters anyways' she sighed, opening the Gacha menu she went straight to the affinity menu, Seeing that there is one spin available for it, she decided to test her luck.

'There was no measurement of rarity to be seen, so she assumed it would depend on this world's standards of what is considered a Rare affinity or not' as she thought this, the Gacha machine glowed for a bit and then dimmed as fast as it came.

A small round capsule comes out of the hole, picking it up she inspected it, there were no indications of what could be inside other than the cold feeling when in her hand.

Opening the capsule a message popped up in front of her.

-WINNER WINNER~

You have WON the Ice Affinity, Keep cool and do nIce things and perhaps you might not slip-

'Ice affinity? Hm..' it sounded powerful to her as she could imagine freezing foes or honestly just creating ice to keep things cool in a hot environment.

Remembering that she has to actually go out of the room since it's been a couple of minutes since she had woken up, she jumps or well slides off of the bed heading to the door.

Before she could even step out the door, a small green blur jumps on her, "NEERA! HAPPY BIRTHDAY" the green hair child said while hugging Neera.

According to the memories given, this child is the old Neera's best friend, 'Aiden I believe was his name'.

He had green hair and yellowish eyes, he was just a tiny bit smaller than Neera herself, he also looked malnourished, it would not be surprising to call him a skeleton.

"Ah good morning Aiden," said Neera while pulling Aiden off of her, while the little kid might seem one step before death's door, he is oddly energetic.

They had been friends for as long as they had been in the orphanage which is quite a long time.

Neera sighed, throwing those thoughts at the back of her mind for now. She would have to go through her memories at a later date, for now, it's time to interact with her surroundings.

Aiden grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the room, the creaky door shutting behind them "C'mon! We have to go or else we will be late for your party!" Aiden shouted while running as best he could with Neera behind him.

'Thank god, the old Neera and me had similar personalities' Neera thought while getting pulled "Okay! Okay! I know, no need to drag me across the floor" Neera said while smiling at Aiden.

They came to an open room where Neera could see around twenty other children and a few old adults smiling at the entrance, though there was one oddity which was the person in fancy-looking white robes that could make you mistake him as a priest.

New chapter new chapter, wow I been busy, anyways i hope to work more on this now since i have some free time.
