The Dawn

It was a Thursday night when Gene cut off the phone with her Best friend in tears. "hello! how was your day?" Rocky replied," it was great I was with my future wife, he laughed". Gene replied with tears rolling down her cheeks "future wife?when did it happen?" he laughed again and told her he will call her back in a couple if minutes. She waited for the call but he never called back.

Gene and Rocky have been friends for 12 years, Gene has been in love with Rocky for about a year and 8 months but she didn't tell him.

Gene is a Double major of Music and drama at Nyenyezi college of arts while Rocky is a famous actor and co-ordinator at StarVision hub.

The next day Gene went to her school to borrow a guitar, she had registered a StarVision music competition that is coming up in next two weeks. On her way back she bumped into her friend Timmie. "Hie girl,what's up with that sad face?" she asked, Gene replied with a sad voice "nothing am just tired, can we go grab a snack?" Timmie replied mmmh sure. They went to their favorite snack shop. While Gene and Timmie were enjoying their snacks Rocky and his new girlfriend appeared and sat on the same table them. Rocky "wifey meet Gene my best friend and her friend Timmie, guys this is my future Mrs...he laughed hahaha,Sasha." Sasha "i know Gene. nice meeting you Timmie." Gene "I think I have to go i just remember I have a project to finish." " no don't go", he replied, "let's go watch a movie, you're owing me one remember?" Gene replied aaah I'll pass. she left to her room,and drop the guitar on her bed and screamed out loud with tears in her eyes. Sasha is her friend they met at an advert shoot about two months ago, they have been close since that time.....
