Chapter eleven

Lucian's pov;

I woke up early in the morning, because I just couldn't sleep, it was the nightmates again. I slowly got off the bed, removed my shirt then I got in the bathroom, I looked at my reflection, then I saw myself as a demon, the black horns, crimson eyes, the long white fangs. Sometimes when I have those nightmares, I have huge black wings, and I just slaughter everyone, but this time Hazel was in my dreams, she stood in front of me to stop me, and I stopped since I promised myself I will never try to hurt her.

I changed back to normal, and splashed water from the bathroom sink at my handsome face. Picked up a towel and wiped my face.

When I got out, I found Hazel was sound asleep. I walked to the bed and found she had not covered herself. I pulled the duvets to cover her, she turned and she pulled me to the bed. I lost balance and fell on the bed.

Damn! She strong while sleeping! I thought.

I then felt her head on top of my chest.

She also placed her arms on my chest and kept rubbing it.

"Don't leave me, " She murmured still in her sleep.

I slowly her small body close to mine to keep warm.

"I won't leave you, " I whispered.

I Pat her hair, it was so smooth and thick and it smelled like pure coconut and honey. Without knowing I slept.

Later I woke up and found she was still asleep. I stared at her cute face, then I moved close, I almost kissed her rosy lips, but I changed my mind and kissed the top of her head. I then slowly got off the bed. I could see the sun was rising. I headed to the bathroom and found my bath was prepared and my attire was well displayed. I had my bath and then left.

On my way to the training site, I remembered that I had forgot to my leather gloves. It's for hiding my claws, when I release my demon. As I was going back, I met on of my men who we normally train with.

"Sire, greetings, " He said then bowed.

"Today we have training for the next battle..."

"Don't worry I haven't forgotten about it, I just need something first, " I cut him.

"Alright his highness, " He said still bowing.

I then started walking. "And tell the others to continue training, " I said then I left him there.

I got in, then walked to drawer that I always keep them. After I found my black gloves, I closed it and something got my attention.

I then told the maid servant who was done with the cleaning, to leave, I couldn't stand the way she was staring at me, even though she couldn't see I was seeing what she was doing.

I took the white letter and read what was inside.

'̶W̶a̶t̶c̶h ̶y̶o̶u̶r ̶b̶a̶c̶̶k, ̶d̶e̶a̶t̶h ̶i̶s ̶c̶o̶m̶i̶n̶g!

It didn't scare me, but I knew one thing, someone was asking for a death wish and I would gladly give it. I put it back then I went to check if I might find any other stupid threats.

As I was still checking at the bathroom, I sensed someone's footsteps in the room.

I closed my eyes and concentrate on the scent only to be met by coconut perfume. It was Hazel! What is she doing here? I asked myself. I then got out of the bathroom and found her holding the letter.

Oh no! She was the last person I wanted her to see that I was being threatened.

I slowly walke towards her, she then turn and was scared.

"You starled me Lucian... "

"What's this? " She asked showing it to me.

"It's nothing, " I said then grabbed it from her pretty fingers.

"Nothing you say, Lucian someone is threatening you, " She said looking concerned.

"Actually someone is asking for a death wish, " I told her.

"But don't worry about it, I will take care of it, I think I know who did it, " I told her.

"I'll be back, " I told her then Pat her head. Then I walked out of the room.

Writers pov;

Lucian decided to head to his brother Pierre, because he was the first suspect. As he walked pass the maids, they were admiring him, as he passed them, they started whispering not knowing that he is hearing every single word they were saying.

(𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲)

He then headed to the library where was Pierre's favorite place.

He then found two guards guarding the entrance.

"Where is his highness? " He asked.

"Your highness is busy he doesn't want to be disturbed, " a guard said blocking Lucian's way to the door.

Lucian just stared at them, he wouldn't dare to explain himself, since they are just subjects.

The two guards tried to prevent him from passing. Lucian couldn't bear this no more.

He grabbed one guard by the neck and raised him using his left hand. His legs were hanging on the air and he had to drop his spear to try and remove Lucian's hand from his neck. The other one tried to punch him, but he dodged, then kicked his tummy, making him to fall on his knees, Lucian then kicked him on his neck and he fell backward. The other he had chocked until his pale face was turning purple. Lucian then threw him aside and he hit the walk with his head making him to become unconscious.

He then made his way inside the room, but found no one. He decided to head now to his room. He found there were no guards, so he bugged in.

"What the fuck!!! " Pierre cursed getting up from on top of a lady, (definitely not Elsa)

When he saw it was Lucian, he clicked and went back on top of her and continued entering her as she was moaning.

"It's just little brother, he won't mind, " He told her.

This really provoked Lucian. "Stop acting as if I'm not here Pierre! " He exclaimed.

Pierre kissed his concubine, and then sat on the bed beside her, still inside the sheets.

"Hey little brother, why don't you come here and we share this lady over here, " Pierre said touching her chin as she smiled seductively at Lucian. Lucian didn't mind her.

"That's very kind of you, but that's not the reason I am here, "

"You have been playing tricks with me Pierre, but this one is not funny, " Lucian said his voice raising angrily.

Pierre got off the bed, covered his lower body with the sheets and walked towards Lucian.

"What makes you think that I did this? " Pierre asked after reading the note.

"This are things that we did as kids, we are grown ups now brother, " He said.

Lucian couldn't buy his nonsense.

"I swear if I find it was you.... "

"There is absolutely nothing you can do about it, " Pierre cut him and then continued.

"Because I am the crowned the prince and when the king dies, I will take over and kill everyone including you and I will take over and kill everyone including you and I will make your wife Hazel my second wife, "

This really made Lucian angry and sad because of Hazel. He left the room and banged the door behind him.

Pierre then sat on the bed. The lady sat behind him then traced her fingers on his chest, as she kissed his neck. Pierre held her arm making her to stop.

"Leave before my wife finds you here! " He ordered. She hesitated for a while, but she got off the bed dressed, then bowed to home and left the room.

Hazel was just in their room, she was really thinking of what is happening. She thought that Lucian was being hunted and she feared for him.

As she was still seating, looking at herself on the mirror, Lucian suddenly bugged in.
