Ariel ran as fast as her feets could carry her into the woods, she ran faster than light and it seemed the skies hated her as well as it poured down heavily on earth.
Her long, beautiful black hair danced along in rhythm with the savage wind blowing towards her in all direction. The trees quivered and shooked violently.
The thunder roared threateningly while the lightning reflected a flash of light across the drenched clouds. It was 2 o'clock in the afternoon but with the dark skies it made it look like the night giving the scorching sun no opportunity to beautify the sky.
'You're the reason your mom died!' Her father's voice rang in the head. Ariel covered her ears to prevent any more hateful thoughts. She wanted to shut herself out of this fucked up world completely.
"You're an omega and a weakling and that's why I beat you to the game again sister, you've been rejected" Avril's words rang in her head also. She covered her ears but it wasn't working out well for her because the hateful statements kept rolling in.
Omegas were the weakest werewolves in a pack, rumors had it she was the weakest among her pack though her father was alpha.
Ariel couldn't believe what she saw today. She and Avril were identical twins but they never for once went along with each other. Avril was the princess and she was the servant.
Even though they never went along with each other and Avril had everything while she had nothing. Did she really have to snatch Carter away from her too?.
Rumors had it that she was cursed since birth. She was the only werewolf in the history of the Mills pack to kill her mom while being given birth to.
Ariel was also the only werewolf destined to find three males, but had to find a mate between the three of them who will love her for real before she turns 20 or else she dies.
She's eighteen this year and that also added more to her fears. Her grandmother from her mother's side was the one who cursed her before dying for killing her daughter and her mate had to be a strong Alpha.
She was a twin but Avril was immune to the curse but she wasn't. Why did she have to be the one with a curse? She didn't deserve such. Every other werewolf was born normal but she was the only outcast. Who had she ever wronged?.
Ariel fell in love with Carter but his wolf didn't accept her. That's what she heard from Avril though she believed it wasn't true but finding out today that Carter was cheating on her the whole time might prove Avril right.
Carter would soon be an alpha due to the fact his father's reign would be over soon. Carter was mighty and strong so he was suited to lead the pack after his father.
Ariel was delighted she was finally going to be free for the curse due to the fact she had found the male who actually loved her for real and for the fact he was going to be an alpha made her twofold delightful but after today's event, it became totally impossible.
If only his wolf accepted her sooner then they would have bound and become mates forever but Carter's wolf didn't want to, it seemed like his wolf knew she was cursed as well. Maybe she shouldn't blame him for cheating on her but that doesn't stop her from hating him.
Ariel ran with intense speed and stopped when she reached the end of a cliff. Looking down at the body of the cliff, she saw the rough and rocky features it had.
Wouldn't it be better if she ended everything now? Even if she died, no one would give a damn. She had no friends, no shoulder to cry on, nothing at all.
She was rejected by her boyfriend's wolf, by her twin sister, by her father and her pack. At least if she died, there would be one less mouth to feed.
Moving back slowly, Ariel closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath and letting it out at once. She wanted to end everything and leave this ungrateful world that she was born in.
Ariel ran toward the cliff with all her might with the aim of jumping off but she stopped suddenly when she reached the edge of it. Why couldn't she do it?
She threw frustrated punches at the innocent invisible air, letting out a grieved scream. She moved back from the cliff and fell on her knees sobbing profusely.
No! She can't die now, at least not yet and not like this. If she died like this then it's going to really prove she was a weakling like Avril used to call her.
If she comitts suicide now, she would be only seen as a disgrace and mistake to her pack, if her body gets found miraculously she was sure Avril would spit on it so no, she definitely must not die. Maybe when she was done with her revenge, she would then kill Avril and take her to hell with her.
She must have her revenge on her sister Avril for snatching Carter away from her. Avril has to pay for all the maltreatment and wrongdoings she had been receiving from her.
It was time for her to have her revenge!.
But then how does she begin and where does she even start from?. She had no say in her pack, she was always seen as the weakest and that's why Avril called her a weakling all the time.
Ariel laid on the ground of the cliff surrendering to the heavy rain which beat her non-stop. Her pretty grey eyes tried looking up to the sky but it couldn't as the rain showed them no mercy and poured heavy on her body.

Few hours later
Ariel fluttered her eyes repeatedly. She got off the ground immediately, sitting on it. She turned left and right and there it dawned on her she had slept off in the woods under the heavy rain that had stopped.
Looking up to the sky, it became bright once more as the scorching sun found its way in settling itself comfortably in the sky. She took a glance at her watch and it was already 5pm in the evening.
Ariel got off the ground immediately, tapping off dirt from her body. She wasn't worried about home. She wasn't welcomed there anyways.
No one would actually look for her even if she stayed outside for years except for her strict father when he needed her to work for the pack.
But she still had to go back to her pack since she wasn't the weakest, she needed protection against rogue werewolves. A wolf shouldn't be without its pack. Shaking her head in grimace, she found her way back home through the woods.
