Raizel is obviously known as the strongest Player ever since the very beginning... So much so that this piece of information is getting redundant by now. No one's even talking about it anymore cause at this point, this is just common sense for everyone.
But other than that, there's also one more thing that is connected to this very fact that shares the same level of common sense in every Player out there. That if someone blurts out the phrase, Raizel is the strongest, someone would surely reply with, yeah but not for long probably.
Cause there exist two other Players that also possess an Origin-like class, the exact thing that carried Raizel to the status he's currently in. And almost everyone, also knows this. Cause unlike Raizel who's been secretive about his possession, the other two, love to brag about having such a thing.
The same reason why Raizel's Origin, which is Unique for him and that there should be no way for others to know it, became a piece of public knowledge. In short, the two exposed him.
Not only that but they also said something along the lines of, the gap between the three of them is not that far. That If Raizel let his guard down even for a second, the title of being the strongest, can be snatched away from him.
Which is obviously a lie. Cause the two, know how Raizel no-lifed YGGDRASIL, and that there's no way they can surpass him as easily as they made it sound to be.
Sadly though, everyone believed that lie, and Raizel himself is too lazy to call it out. Saying words won't work cause people will believe whoever the majority favors, which, unfortunately, is something he is not...
That's why a few weeks ago when the time finally came, he decided to just hunt the two down and kill both of them. Probably the most effective method to make everyone that keeps talking sh*t about him, shut up. And that it did cause now, no one can surely talk back to him anymore if he decided to flex.
He made everyone angry and is now getting hunted for sure, but at least he removed everyone's capability to rebut. All are worth the hassle is all Raizel could say.
To make matters short, in these past few events, Raizel proved to everyone again that he truly is the strongest, and realistically, none can reach his level anymore since the two who are capable of doing such a thing, are already gone.
Which the entire community, finally accepted as nothing but a hard fact...
So imagine everyone's face when the news broke out about him having a high chance of becoming, even more stronger the moment their Hunting Quest ended up in failure.
Many could just question the reality they are living in.
How much is too much? Is there even a level above Raizel's current level? Isn't he at the very peak already? What's the point of him becoming THIS strong anyway?
These, are just a few questions that were frequently asked by the community as of currently.
Obviously, all of this news about him gaining even more power is just mere speculation online. There's no solid proof yet.
In the first place, the Quest did not state what would happen if no one manages to stop Raizel before the end of the Quest, all it just said is to stop him before that happens, period. There's not even a punishment for Failing. So none can really make out what's the outcome at the end of it.
But, for the speculators' defense, that's pretty much the point. Other than that, can the system even offer him any other things? That's right, it probably cannot.
And to that, while watching the heated argument of the Players within the community, Raizel himself would like to say one thing.
"Yep. You guys are so goddamn right."
Power, even more Power. That's exactly what Raizel would get from this whole ordeal. Cause looking at his Quest window, at the exact place where anyone would see the Hunting quest, something else is on display for him.
That instead of the Hunting Quest that wants him dead, it shows a Survival Quest that wants him to survive.
And the reward... is obviously shown as well. But in the foreign eyes, the rewards on display won't probably make any sense for them since Raizel is the only one that can really understand what is there. Cause unlike the Hunting quest which shows nothing but your most generic rewards, his is personal so all of it is obviously Unique.
In any case, to make matters short, that reward will make him even stronger than he already is, just like how many predicted it.
As to How and Why?
Well, none could really tell until the end of everything.
Even Raizel himself... is not entirely sure.

A few days ago, due to the ongoing chaotic situation, both Raizel and the Devs made an "agreement" secretly.
And to that very agreement, Raizel agreed to stop instigating everyone online in exchange for a little "compensation". And that he truly did, making the Dev sigh in relief cause now that he did that, they expect the situation would finally calm down now that the source of this entire chaos was stopped.
True, it feels like they got scammed once again due to Raizel's little compensation, but at the very least, they like to think that it's all worth it if that can make everyone finally quiet up.
Sadly though, to their dismay, the heat of the hunt, as days goes by, only became worse.
Sure, they made Raizel stop along the way, but they all failed to realize one thing. That it really doesn't matter anymore even if they stopped him at this point cause the damage, is already done.
That it will grow even worse whether he continues what he's doing or not.
In the very first place, all the things that have been happening around the Hunting Quest are probably the most hot topic throughout the entire community. None topped it so far.
So in short, the Devs realized all too late that Raizel is not the reason why the situation did not get any better. It's the nosy people online that don't have anything better to do in life but continue making threads about what Raizel did or say about that one particular thing and why he should be hated for it.
And the Devs, as sad as it is, simply couldn't do anything about that matter.
Cause all the ears that followed that event didn't miss even a single day. All of them religiously checked the forum about the Hunting Quest every now and then just to see if there was something new to look at. And to everyone's surprise, there is something new... thanks to those very people.
Cause the entire Hunt, throughout these past weeks, bore no fruit at all. For the Attacker's side that is. The hunt is happening literally every time, and yet, there are still no changes. Everything still ends in nothing but another failure.
The worst part is, they had to see their Prey's smug face while doing some victory dance before leaving them all on air. Making all of them face the fact that all their effort just went down the drain, even more obvious.
This clearly shows why everyone hated Raizel down to their very bone. So much so that right now, there exist a group of people that Ignores everything in the game and solely focus on hunting Raizel down. Pouring everything they had just to increase the chance of them seeing the scene where they can finally start kicking Raizel's ass.
But as of now, as much as they want to deny it, all of them are starting to get exhausted already.
In their defense, who wouldn't be? In this hunt, all they have done so far is literally just waste money and hope for the best. Cause the cost of joining in on the hunt, if one were to count the specifics for each part, is no joke at all. And to top it all off, the outcome of each attack isn't even guaranteed.
Sadly though, quitting isn't an option for most of them, not after coming this far they said.
Well, to be fair, in comparison to the first day of the hunting quest, the hunters nowadays have become a force to reckon with. Even Raizel himself would like to admit that there's just no way for him to face all of these Players all at once... Good thing he doesn't need to since all he does is just run away and hide anyway.
But everyone knows that Raizel's current strategy of jumping cities and using them as his shield is becoming less effective as days go by. Cause nowadays, every city that Raizel chooses to hole himself to, is being sieged in an uncomfortably short amount of time. Compare to the original time of one hour, all the hunters need right now is at least 20 minutes in order to finish it all up.
Slowly but surely, Raizel is getting more cornered and will have no place to run to anymore. At least, that's what everyone wanted to believe.
Well, in the first place, cities need a significant amount of time before it gets fixed and it's not like there's an infinite amount of city Raizel could go to.
In fact, looking at the map of the entire Niflheim, he could actually only use the cities that are within a certain circle. And the number of cities that are within that circle only sums up to a whopping eight.
In short, throughout this whole time, he's just cycling within those cities. And since the Hunters, as time goes by, get better at sieging the cities, a time will surely come when they could finally reach Raizel, and there are no more cities he could run to since all of them are still destroyed.
This is the exact thing that keeps the hunters going. That's why they couldn't quit. Not after them getting this close to their goal.
But other than that fact, sadly, there's something else that is also getting close to its end. The Hunting quest itself. Cause right now, looking at the duration of the quest, a few more days are only what's left in it.
The same reason why the Hunters are getting more heated up. Cause once this quest is over, there's just no way they could still hunt him down cause at that point, not only he's much stronger, but there will be no cooperation anymore since all of them at that point, are all for themselves.
Fortunately though, right at the moment when only a day is what's left on the Quest's duration, when everyone already expected failure, to everyone's surprise, something... good happened?
A World Enemy joined in on the hunt.
