30 Seconds Of Infinity Part 1

"It's time Grim."

Buggy was floating slightly above the ground, surrounded by a purple energy, and across from him, who had previously been walking away, was Grim. In the desolate, cloud covered, gray landscape of rock and stone, these two stood.

"For what?" Grim spoke with some anger behind his voice.

Tilting his head, Buggy answered "For me to get rid of you."

"You think that you can get rid of me? How many of your attacks actually hit me, let alone hurt me?" Grim's hands and arms tensed up, his fingers moving erratically, cracking.

With a newfound confidence, and a smirk, Buggy stated "Hm. Well, now I have a limitation of imagination to my power! I don't have aaaany limit to how much I can use Haki, or my own devil fruit! How cool is that?"

Grim wasn't buying that. He dropped his head for a couple seconds, then lifting his head with a scowl.

"You think a deity has helped you out, invigorating your.. power to a point you don't have a limit? That you can just think of something and do it?"

"Well, of course! Deities have this handy ability to bypass just about anything! I mean, they couldn't be considered deities if they didn't have any way to just.. you know.. show off or use their power?" Buggy smiled, moving his arm in a dramatic manner.

Buggy's demeanor changed after he spoke the words "By the way, I will have a handicap! It's just that.. I've already vowed to do a couple things, so replacing my arm would be a bit.. wrong? So we'll be fighting against each other, one with modifications and a so called 'Two Billion Berri bounty', versus a guy hyped up on.. deity juice? No, that sounds weird. Um.. infinite limit! A two billion versus a guy with no power limit! How's that sound?"

The battlefield was quiet for another couple seconds, the aura around Buggy pulsating.

"You overestimate yourself."

Grim immediately jumped into action, flying towards Buggy with his arm cocked back, covered in Colorless Haki.

"Oh, mon ami, we do not do that here! How about I retaliate?"

A booming voice echoed throughout the empty feild of rock. "Timer Start. 30 Second Limit. 30."

Grim faltered for a second, not believing what had just happened, switching between thinking it was a trick and that it was an actual thing that was happening.

Buggy had noticed the change in Grim's expression, and asked "Wait, you can actually hear that? I thought the gods would have-"

"29."

"Oh shoot! I actually need to attack!"

And within that split second, Buggy's whole body was covered in electric current, arcs of lightning appearing all over, moving around his body at incredible speed.

And, as if he teleported, he was in front of Grim, before he could even reach where Buggy was.

"Huh?" Could be heard coming from Grim before he was punched square in the face.

Following this punch, Grim was thrown several hundred feet away, causing any little hill he flew into to explode into dust and rock pieces.

"I DIDN'T USE ANY HAKI YET!" Buggy was still where he punched Grim, yelling out a bit of information for him.

Grim was under some remaining rock, which he then threw off of himself when getting up. He breathed in some fresh air, fully taking in what Buggy had said, staring at him from a few hundred feet away.

'There's no way that didn't have Haki infused into it! Only someone with a high level of Haki should be able to bypass my passive defense!'

Grim's eyes then came out of his head, not understanding what had happened next.

"28."

Buggy had appeared in front of him, again, almost instantaneously this time around. The only difference was about his body. He was standing on the ground, readying a slap using his only remaining hand. The difference between his normal hand and what had appeared before Grim was astounding, as a massive, Armament clad hand had appeared, one bigger than a small ship. It was 45 feet from end of palm to middle finger, and it was in fact Buggy's hand.

'Man, having the ability to just turn into sand is amazing! I can just think, and put into action, this exact thing! Look out Luffy, your "Gigant Pistol" has nothing on this! Now, with a cool name for it, I will train to use it in the future!'

"Chop-Chop: Hand Of The North Star- Midas!"

And using his palm, Buggy pushed his Haki covered hand towards Grim, who was still recovering from the first punch. That hand then dug into the ground, forcing rock, dirt, and people alike, all in one direction. That direction did not matter, but the palm sped up while pushing, causing what was almost like a volcanic eruption of dirt and island to appear with Grim in the way.

Grim was slapped by the giant hand, immediately being thrown even farther than the punch that landed on him before.

"27."

Grim was in a crater formed out of a hill, which was almost completely demolished from the impact that he caused. For a second, Grim was able to rest, having had two consecutive attacks land on him.

'What caused this sudden increase in power? Did he do something behind my back to become so strong? No! It must be temporary! That voice in the sky said "30 Second Limit", and recently said 27! Is he running out of time already? Is he really being helped by a deity?'

He didn't have much time to think, and so, he started to prepare an attack, one of the attacks he had tested out before. During Grim's preparation, Buggy had been testing something since it was for a limited time.

'Wait! I have infinite Haki now, right? Can't I just put a lot in and test it? I'll have to limit how much I put in, just in case it starts to break.'

Buggy pulled Surya out of the sheath, saying "I know I said I'd let you rest, but I have something to test. I will stop if you start to break."

"26."

'I need to hurry on this!'

Buggy immediately had a sphere double the size of his aura, an orb of about 20 feet in diameter, covering Surya, and then letting it flow into the blade.

"25."

And without a hiccup, Surya took all of the Haki that Buggy had produced. Astounded by this, Buggy continued to process a few more times for only a few seconds.

"22."

'Oh crap! I need to get back to Grim! I don't think I'll even be able to defeat him once the time is up!'

Buggy immediately stopped what he was doing, sheathing Surya, and appearing right in front of Grim, who had been making a beam of fire and lightning. The orb of swirling white fire and sparking, pure white lightning, was aimed from the sky downward towards where Grim had expected Buggy to appear.

Smirking, Grim spoke "Beam-Beam: The Wrath Of Lightning and Flame!"

And the sky lit up, becoming extremely bright, a beam of pure white appeared, blinding anyone who had the privilege, or ability, to look at it.

Buggy was completely engulfed in this light when he appeared, disappearing from sight, and Grim witnessed Buggy turn into dust from his attack.

"21."

"Haha! Buggy! You were so fun to play with! You actually hit me! It was surprising, but I recovered with one attack! I was right!"

The beam had disappeared, having turned the ground into extremely hot rock, close to magma in temperature, but not in texture.

"20."

"Haha-ha.. heh?"

'Shouldn't that time have stopped if he was dead? WAIT! HE ISN'T?'

Grim started to frantically look around, hoping to see where Buggy had disappeared to, searching in front of him, hoping to see any particle of him appear, so he could destroy it, thinking a single spec could be the reason the timer had not stopped.

"19."

"You looking for someone?"

Grim turned around, looking like he could have broken his neck from how fast he turned.

"Whaaaat!?"

Grim had turned to witness Buggy floating, only a part of his torso and his left arm still intact. His hand was in front of him, as if he was praying, only having one arm. The was not what caused him to yell out at that moment. What had caused him to yell out was the construct behind the floating piece of Buggy.

What was behind him was giant, innumerable numbers of multi-jointed arms, each fashioned with hands, all covered in Armament, coming out of the ground. It was a spectacle to witness, as the hands were all able to move at the same time, in unison. That was not all, as Grim quickly took a quick estimation of how many hands there were, finding at least 30 of them. What was even more insane was that each hand was the same size that Buggy had used to slap Grim, which just showed Grim the scale that Buggy was able to work on.

"Oh? You found me out already? I was hoping for another second or two, but I might as well attack now! Chop-Chop: Not-The-Buddha Three Thousand Slaps!"
